Salem's nostrils flared, his brow was firm as stone as he ducked under the top rope and stepped back in the ring, no longer feeling the sting from the previous head strike. In substitution, Salem could only focus on one thing - his pride. It had been insulted, disrespected by this so-called 'Lone Wolf'. Salem couldn't let that stand - there was only one Alpha in this ring, and he was determined to take this champion to the next level. Reaching out his hands, he continued to glare at Lauri while respectably offering to grapple with the man.

He wants to grapple again? So be it as the veteran once again locked up with the eager rookie. Only as they locked up Lauri would try a quick knee to the midsection of Salem. If this worked the Lone Wolf would try to lock the rookie in a face down version of a cross-arm breaker.

Salem knew that trying to lock arms with Lauri Henry was a mistake more often than not, but the intrepid rookie was determined to topple the heavyweight like David did Goliath. As the "Lone Wolf" hoisted his knee, Salem's nimble legs would go into motion - using Lauri's thigh as a stepping stone to jump up with great force, hoping to rattle the champion with a knee of his own beneath Henry's jaw.

Ok wasn't expecting that as Salem's knee connected knocking his head to the right and having him topple down on the mat.
"quick recovery... have to remember that..."
he thought to himself as he held his jaw.

Salem's knee had done its job, sending Lauri doubling back to the canvas with a migraine headache. However, the big man was already struggling to get back up to his feet, doubled over and gripping his jaw in anguish. Salem blinked in shock for a second time. Once again, the heavyweight had surprised him by starting to recover quicker than Salem had expected. The shock sent a surge of adrenaline through Salem's veins, and the 'Dynamite Kid' was primed once more for action. Running to the ropes as Lauri started to stand in a crouch, Salem would jump just as he was running up to Lauri - kicking his legs to airwalk a moment before going to drive his heel of his foot into the back of Lauri's head with a nasty Scissors Kick.

((Its amazing how you get all that from me on the mat holding my jaw. I got this though so no worries)) Although the lone Wolf's mind was focused on himself for the time being judging from the crowd's reaction Salem was not liking this one bit. All of the "Dynamite Kid's" flash was being cancelled out by Lauri's experienced endurance. And as Lauri staggered to get off his knees and Salem charges up for a Scissor kick the newcomer was about to possibly learn something new: Even wolves can play possum. As Salem's jumped up to land the crashing blow, Lauri would suddenly turn to face Salem. Salem's kick would connect with the Lone wolf's shoulder while Lauri would try to keep a hold of said leg eventually attempting a variation of the Stretch muffler.

(I like my in-ring posts to be around a paragraph. I just think the extra detail adds something for the reader, is all. Wasn't trying to be a bother.) Salem was once again stunned in disbelief as Lauri took the impact of his Scissors Kick straight to his shoulder without flinching, leaving Salem with only a leg to stand on while Henry attempted to reach up and lack his exposed ankle. As he went for this, though, Salem would leap on his spare foot and pivot - trying yet again to capitalize on what had been a failed attempt to bring Lauri down with an Enziguri Kick from his spare leg, aimed right at the side of the LWL Champion's face.

(Calling the auto-hit, I suppose.) Salem was looking to get an edge in against Lauri, but it had seemed a fruitless endeavor with the way Lauri's size and experience were starting to come into play. As the raven-haired rebel made his Enziguri attempt, however, he was quite satisfied to feel the heavy smack of the bridge of his foot against the side of Lauri's face, causing the "Lone Wolf" to break his premature hold, falling in a heap against the dusty canvas. Dropping to the mat in pursuit, Salem would look to capitalize on the crowd-stirring spot by rolling Lauri to his back to go for a cover on the LWL champion.

Ok to everyone watching that looked like it hurt as Lauri's head was rocked to one side by Salem's foot and the added fact that he dropped like a stone probably didn't help much either as he now lied there slumped on the mat like a stone.
And as Salem rolled the Lone Wolf onto his back and went for the cover could this be the end of the match for the LWL Champion as the ref goes to count.

The ref couldn't even get to 2 as Lauri kicked out to the delight of the crowd.

(No worries. ^_^) Salem was red in the face with rage as Lauri defiantly kicked out from underneath him, breaking the referee's count at less than two and causing the Charismatic Calamity to re-think his strategy while Lauri started to get to his feet. Not wanting to let the big man have the chance, Salem would surge forward and try to deliver a Big Boot to the Lone Wolf's skull before he could make it upright once again.

Alright... Salem's from the sounds of the crowd is looking like its time to truly finish this, and that's one thing him and the Lone Wolf can agree on.
As he gets up and Salem's boot is incoming Lauri would in one swift motion try to turn reverse 360 quickly attempting to drive his fingers in Salem's mouth for a mandible claw onto his opponent...
...could this be it or is could this be the Lone Wolf attempting his uncle's controversial finisher: "Bloody Claws" once again?

You could clearly see the look in Salem's eyes as all of a sudden the Lone Wolf is now looking him right in the eyes whilst having a solid hold on his jaw with the mandible claw.
"This match is over..."
He would say to the Young up and comer as he attempted to reach Salem's eyes to apply the Iron claw. The crowd reaction although mixed was going nuts as Lauri was indeed going for this Skull Crushing Submission hold.
