Deathly Hollows, Part 2, the moment when Severus Snape dies... o; I actually hated that dude... Until he cried.. So, wasn't he in love with Harry's mother? But then his dad took her away, they got married, good ending for them, Harry is born, Hallelujah! Bad ending for Severus Snape... Isn't that why he became a Death Eater? But anyway, up until then, I just thought he was super annoying. But now. I feel bad for him.. xD

I love snape, I always had a thing for the misunderstood characters like draco and blaise, but finding out that snape truly was loyal to Lily and Dumbledoor was just an amazing addition<3

I agree, the film's cemented him as my favourite hero of the series, and the books made me fall in love with him haha

I thought he was weak and just kept going back and forth between teams up until the moment that it was finally known that he was a double agent and that Dumbledore told him to kill him instead of letting Draco do it. It was shocking and an amazing story twist.

When I went to see the film I was with my old housemate. She talked through that whole scene!! She kept saying "he didn't say that in the book" & "it didn't happen like that in the book". I was like "I WILL MAKE YOU CHOKE ON YOUR POPCORN." Luckily I was in the privacy of my own room (& living with my mum who knew not to bother me when I was really into a book) when I read the last book. I cried my eyes out. I'd always thought Snape wasn't really as evil as he came off, I know a lot of people say that but even when I was about 8 I was telling my mum Snape can't be that evil. I just didn't realise to what extent he was one of the good guys. To be honest it kind of makes me dislike James, you just assume he was a good guy because he was Harry's dad but then you find out he was really awful to Snape. He might have got better as he got older but to be honest I picture James as a bit of a jerk. I think we can all feel bad for Snape because he went through what almost everyone has; he was made fun of, he lost someone he liked to someone he couldn't stand...& then he was killed by an evil wizard, who hasn't had that happen? But seriously, I think it was just that he suddenly became easy to relate to as well as one of the good guys when he died.

I kinda figured that Snape was hurt because he was so bitter and it also explains why Snape was so mean to Harry because he looked so much like James. When Snape cried I cried. Snape was my favorite since Year 1 ^^

I figured out quite early that Snape was a good guy (I'm being truthful!) because a theme in Harry Potter is people not being what they seem. (which usually applies to DADA teachers).

I wasn't really a fan of any of the movies, including 6.2 but that part really moved me and make me realize the "underdog/anti-hero" in Severus.
New house elf btw

I didn't hate him, persay. He's one of those villains you love to hate. Like, you know he's a bad guy, but you like him for being bad. Idk how to explain it lol

Nooooo all my Snape and Lily feels! I still cry every time I see that one scene where he's clutching her dead body.
"After all this time?" "Always."

I have a love hate for Snape's, he's my boyfriend's favorite character. I disagree with him taking out his frustrations on his students, but I feel for him because he was bullied and admire him risking his life playing spy.

Severus Snape was and still is my all time favorite character! I really think he needs his own book/series of his life. So misunderstood; he has such an interesting, sad, epic life and death. I was interested by him from the start and loved him by the end. The sad sad end. Severus Snape still lives on. I am especially grateful for fanfiction and all the 'Snape Lives' stories. I mean, it is perfectly possible/plausible that a potion's master would have an antidote on his person and was able to take it before he died, and or, Harry doing something to stop the poison.

Severus Snape was always one of my favourite characters.
The first time I ever heard of Harry Potter is when I caught one of the movies on TV. It was Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and it was the scene where Snape bursts into his First Years potion class and delivers his "There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in this class" speech.
He was the first character I met in this magical world which is likely why he is one of my favourites. (And I'm positive Alan Rickman's Voice and portrayal of the Character were also factors in my liking of Severus Snape.)
