Moira could only nod again, "I'm hosting a party at the Academy for kids and teens, would you like to join me there?" she asked curiously, the smile back on her face. "I won't force you to interact with anyone, but it might be nice for you to see some people your age.".

Tobias fidgeted a little more, looking around the room anxiously. "I... I guess I could..." He glanced up at her face, and then down at the amethyst ball. "H-how many people will be there...?"

"I'd have to estimate around 15 or so.. if it would help you, you can bring the Amethyst ball with you." Moira smiled a bit more, shifting to a sitting position to lessen the strain on her knees. "There will be kids and some teens, as well as the kids' guardians if they want to stick around. I might see if I can talk to some of the adults about recent events.."

Tobi rolled it around in his hands a little more, and then finally nodded. "Okay, I can try... can I go home if I don't like it?" The idea of being placed in a room with that many other strangers was not very exciting.

"Of course." She smiled more, reaching out to gently put her hand on one of his, "Your daddy is coming along and if you want to leave, you can leave with him, alright? He might be a little tense at the event anyways with so many people he doesn't know. I'd have to stick around because I'm hosting it, but I'll be home as soon as it's over, alright?"

"Okay, that's better." He nodded, seemingly pleased with that offering. "When is it...? Do I have to bring a present or anything?"

Moira shook her head, "You aren't needed to bring presents, but I asked for the kids to send in 'wishes' for what they would like so I could help brighten their spirits if they ended up with a family that isn't too great or they don't have enough money.." she sighed, already having run into one child who seemed to not have the best family for her.

Tobi nodded a little. "That's really nice. I hope they're happy." He stood up, and then gathered all of his new things. "I'm gonna put these away..." He then shuffled off to place things around the room.

Moira stood as well, stretching a bit and watching him put the new things around the room, smiling. "I hope they do help you, the items that is. I tried my best to find things that I would hope help with whatever you are dealing with. Don't forget that you can talk to me about things if you feel up to it, Tobi. I don't want you to feel alone here. Okay?".

He nodded a little and then settled back down next to his figurines. "I know. I'll talk to you if I need to. But I'm okay." He shrugged a little. "I'll come out for lunch okay?"

She smiled more, placing her hand on the door, "Alright. I'll make some soup and grilled cheeses then, it's getting pretty cold outside so something warm will probably be good." Moira chuckled before closing the door and leaning against it. With a sigh, she looked over her shoulder and hoped that at least the Amethyst would help her son.
