Mother was prophesizing, yes, but I'm not sure the aliens are going to be involved in this Xmapocalypse...Does anybody remember the Demon that busted loose from the Hell Prison CI?

They might be involved... Gaia Online's scenario writers could be taking their cues for this event from various loony Doomsday predictions like the ones listed here: http://io9.com/5966908/8-of-the-weirdest-predictions-for-the-end-of-the-world check out the one listed under "Safety in Bugarach." Maybe Mother and the Others are living in a Gaian mountain?
