Detective Blake  From the doorway, Max opened his mouth and fired a thin shaft of light towards Detective Blake, catching him in the shoulder. Detective Blake cried in agony and dropped the gun, falling to his knees. He grabbed at the shaft of light that had pierced his shoulder, trying to pull it out. Smoke curled from the wound where the shaft was burning him badly.

 Lucian took this chance and front flipped over Blake. When he was about to land he pushed more weight to his feet and with his heel he swept the gun to the other side of the room. He planted his hands on top the ground and pushed off, turning in the air and landing on his feet. He turned around towards Blake and shook his head "Dang, and you were the fun detective." He said, slightly disappointed.

Detective Meyers
 At that moment Detective Meyers ran into the room. "The others outside told me you were planning to arrest my partner!" He was about to continue when he saw that Detective Blake was on his knees with a lance of bright light through his shoulder. "What in the world is going on!?" Detective Meyers yelled angrily.

Lucian looked up to see Dectective Meyers. He looked at him and smiled nervously "Well uh, you see. I know this looks bad but Blake was the one who took the gems and gave 2 of them to the other people. I think he still has one somewhere." He said honestly.

Detective Meyers
"Whaaaat?" Replied Detective Meyers in alarm. He looked over to Detective Blake who still had the lance of light in his shoulder. "Get that out of him at once!" He commanded. He drew his gun but didn't point it at anyone, showing that he was serious about what was happening.

Lucian nodded towards Max to tell him to get that light out of Blake. He then turned back to Meyers, holding his hands up to chest height to show that he meant no harm "Listen, where you at your office when the gems were taken?" He asked Meyers.

Max gave a snap of his jaws and the light lance faded. Detective Meyers gave Lucien a questioning look. "I was at my office working a late night. Why do you ask?"

Lucian grinned "Alright! Then it's settled. You can ask all of the other witnesses that were in here. Blake said he was at the office as well, and when asked if he knew where you were he said he didn't know." He put his hands down and breathed a sigh of relief that this was settled.

Detective Meyers
Detective Meyers gave Detective Blake a strange stare. "You weren't at the office at all last night," he said. He walked over to him and began searching his pockets. After several moments of searching he pulled out the Sapphire. "Detective Blake....I never would have thought...." he said. Detective Blake merely glared, saying nothing. Detective Meyers waved to the cops to come into the room and arrest Detective Blake. They cuffed him and took him away as Meyers turned back to Lucien. "I'm not sure how you figured it out, but that was some fine detective work," he told him as he looked down at the Sapphire.

Lucian bowed lightly to Meyers "Well in all honesty I'm not all that great, I had a little help from someone. But I can't tell you who sadly." He said, glad that he might be able to fight again soon.

Detective Meyers
Detective Blake Detective Meyers held the Sapphire of Loneliness in his hand, turning it over slowly. "Fair enough," he said as the cops took Detective Blake out of the room, him still yelling about how he was innocent. He walked up to Lucien and held the Sapphire of Loneliness out to him. "While you were busy on the case I got a call from the governor of the Bahamas. He told me that he felt the Sapphires would be safer in the hands of the DWMA students who saved them than in the hands of the regular police forces. After todays events I completely understand. He wanted me to give the Sapphire to you as soon as he found it." Detective Meyers gave him a smile. "We really do appreciate all of your help."

Lucian took the sapphire into his hands and smiled at Meyers "Thank you sir. Wow I was wrong about you, I totally thought you were some creepy unhappy guy that was going to make this no fun" He said with a small nervous laugh, mentally facepalming himself he thought to Max "Well, I guess it's time that we go."

Detective Meyers Max mentally face-pawed as he walked over to Lucien. Detective Meyers gave a small laugh. "Well I'm glad you changed your mind," he said matter-of-factly. "The boat by the docks is ready to take you home whenever you are."Mission Complete!
