Ariette doesn't rightfully know where she was born at or who her real parents are, all she remember is waking up one day in a ditch when she was very young, about four. For the first year or so of her life she wandered around, begging for food and having to take shelter in anything she could find, from boxes to trash bins. No one ever seemed to help her, or even notice her for that matter. She always new she was different, being the only neko she had ever seen before, she thought that was why no one wanted anything to do with her. One day she was wandering near a very beautiful and well guarded though ancient looking place. She awed at the sight, though could not enter. It was only by luck that someone entering the place actually took notice to her. A well dressed and kind looking woman took pity on the small abandoned neko and took her in. The woman was very wealthy, both her and her husband owning a very nice and successful clothing line and fabrics factory, making some of the most beautiful and classy clothes one had ever seen. They decided to raise Ariette as their own, giving her anything she needed and was concidered their princess. Literally. She's been at their home since then, helping with the designs and spending most of her time inside, still thinking that being a neko would make her an outcast. If she goes out she hides her ears and tail to look more normal. One lucky day, upon strolling outside with her neko features hidden, a man approached her, complimenting on her looks and asking if she wished to accompany him to his kindom and be his very own princess. It took her a while to decide, but eventually she was told by her parents that he was a very trusting and kind king and to go with him. So she did, recieving a slightly higher princess status, though still able to see her parents and such and do as she pleased.
