+Swan-Song+ At the shove Swan blinked, everything seemed to have slowed down, but his heart was beating so quickly. He heard everything, but he was so scared, he wanted to hold still and just close his eyes. Instead he picked up the food he had left, and took off fast as his legs could take him. He had to run; had to get the food back to the warren to help everyone else. Never stop running. Blessed with long strong back legs, he knew that story. It was to run and escape the Elil of all sorts. He ran hard, his ears flat and his heart pounding. He did not want to see, did not want to know as the fire stick rang. (( ooc: ))

- Staff Post - A hit! He was sure of it, he'd seen the furry little devil jump. Hadn't been a great shot though, and now he couldn't see where it had scurried off to. In fact, he couldn't see any of the rabbits anymore.
Frustrated, he headed towards the barn.(Raven has been shot, but is not dead. She will need help getting back to the warren)

The gun shot echoed one more time, and this time Aythi was almost sure Inle' had come for one of the rabbits. Turning her head back she noticed Raven get hit, gravely wounded as she slunk off somewhere.
Hopping as quickly as she could, she noticed the farmer leaving. Dropping her flay-rah, she nosed Raven, the smell of blood greatly filling her nostrils. Her heart beat heavily and her ears were about drowned out with the sound. "Raven...I wont let Inle' come for you." she blinked as she looked around for the other rabbits. "Someone, we have to get her back to the warren, she wont make it on her own!" she called out, hoping Pepper was still by as she thumped her hind foot hard against the ground before going back to fussing over the large black doe.
Seeing that she was still alive, Aythi looked around for Swan-song, still fearing for him the most. She hopped over to him, nosing him gently to get him out of his tharn state. "Swan, go back to the warren where its safe. Go, and go now!" she said as firmly but as affectionately as she could, like a mother to her kittens.

- Staff Post -
Team One, you are now in the clear. You can choose to aid the other teams as best you can and perhaps earn more Flay-rah that way, or you can head back to the Down.
If you choose to aid the other Teams, go ahead and post in their threads.
I will roll for additional flay-rah for each team and those that helped that team after everything's ended because omg x.x;

Kalei's heart nearly stopped when she saw Raven jump. Without thinking, she ran back to help the owsla, worry lining every feature, speeding her tiring legs. At the very least, all danger seemed to have passed now.
Thankfully, she didn't appear to be the only one with the thought. Once she had ensured Raven was alive, and there was enough help around her, she went to see if there was any other she could aid.

Betony was not an altruistic doe. Furthermore she had been caught by a ruddy snare and there was a ruddy farmer with a ruddy bang-stick and -
And she was close enough to Raven to know that she was hit, but not dead. Raven had helped save her; Betony didn't care to owe her and she didn't care to explain to Raven's marli why she'd let her daughter die.
"Get up," she said gruffly as she shoved herself against Raven, intent on helping her back to the warren.

Another shot had her paralyzed, but not from fear. She had eluded danger, and even death in the past, and this raid was proving to be no different, but the pain, the pain was excruciating. She could not think or even see straight, and she hoped with all the hope she had that it would be the last time she would hear it.
Looking aroud, violet eyes on high alert while her ears laid tucked down against her head, she noticed a group of her team had gathered around a fallen comrade. She could see the blood, and hopped over to pay her respects to whomever it had been, for she could have been right there beside them. Her heart sank at seeing Raven, but soared as it seemed she was still breathing. Her mother would not be pleased about this, but would be happy to know that some of her fighting spirit had been passed on.
She knew where her loyalties laid, where she should have been at that second. She bumped noses with Raven, despite her anger, before dashing off, noticing for the first time that the threat of danger had moved on, and that Anisthary could be its next target.

Raven spun around, just in time to hear the loud BANG! Startled by the sound she stumbled, the bullet hitting her in the thigh. This wasn't good, "Ugh!!" she groaned in pain and anger, dragging her leg and hobbling along as best she could to get out of site. She was not the best protector anymore but as a Owsla in the making she couldn't very well leave the others to die on her watch, could she? "Everyone keep running! Back to the warren!" she didn't want anyone stopping to help her and getting themselves killed, "Betony shut up and go back to the warren NOW."Once she was sure the farmer had left she did her best to hobble-run in the direction of the barn... maybe they needed her assistance... maybe... "UGH FRITH ON FIRE!" she squeaked in anger at the situation, perhaps helping wasn't in her best interests now? Would they forgive her for heading back now? She honestly couldn't care less what happened to everyone else but what would the Owsla think of her? Which a grumble she decided it was best she head back to the warren after all. The wound was only going to slow her down anyways. ((Sorry again for her being a butt muncher ^_^;; lol))

+Swan-Song+ Swan shivered, he still had the food ragged as it was now. Yet he was simply curled in on himself, his feet tucked against his stomach and chest and his body as low as possible. He did not wish to see any more; as he was touched he squeaked but didn’t even budge until Alythi’s voice filtered through his mind. He opened his eyes, looking miserable he stared at her before he understood. He glanced toward the hill and the warren. Home. He inched forward and froze, scared that moving would do harm; but nothing happened and then he took off. He had a small burrow waiting for him, he dug it himself and it was lined with old leaves. He hurried home to the Warren, placing his food at the entrance then darting into the tunnels. He doubted he would be leaving to soon. (( ooc: ))

Sunheart had stopped running. Standing up and she looked back to find the others. The dog was gone, the man was gone. But one of their own had been hit. For a long moment the doe considered going to help the others teams escape or even just offer the wounded some support. But her life was more important and the danger too high. She scurried forward enough only to pick up some flayrah that had been left behind by the others. A small consolation as she sped away back to the burrow.

Well, if that's the way it was... Raven was up, she could look after her own fool self. Not waiting for a second urging, she turned and sped back for the warren.
At least she'd gotten some flay-rah out of all this...
