I read all four of the books so I wouldn't seem like a hypocrite when I criticized them. When I was 13 and read the first book I liked it, but that's just the demographic that it appeals to most so it's no wonder I liked it. As I read on, it went from casually enjoyable to 'Oh ******** just end the story, quit dragging it on'. I'm really glad that the cash cow is done so the next one can roll in because it's hard to call Twilight anything else but that at this point.
In its hype I was getting just as sick of hearing the constant bashing as much as the constant fangirl gushing so now that it's over, I'm happy. For awhile I forgot that it existed and I'm glad that it will (hopefully) stay that way.
Summary of my review: A girl falls in love with a vampire and becomes one of them in the most overdramatic way possible.
