henrytownshend4235 Rainier Silke henrytownshend4235 Rainier Silke damn. Really? I applaud you for that. But it's sad that they denied it. I mean, I would have at least looked at them since you tries so hard. Idk. I guess I'm not surprised konami is like that honestly. I mean take at least -some- ideas and consider them. If it wasn't for the fans these companies wouldn't be thriving. Makes me mad, I won't even get started lol. Believe me what really upset me about the whole thing was having to turn around give the entire guild the bad news. There were a lot of members who worked hard on their input, and some, including myself, spent sleepless nights working on fixing plot holes and simply adding to the concept. But it absolutely killed me to have to give that news to everyone. I care immensely for this guild and everything it's members have made, talked about, and ever held in respect and admiration for the series we all care about. I understand completely. I mean, that is pretty disappointing, but I mean you guys made an idea for a new game as a guild! That in itself is an amazing achievement. Maybe you guys can create a game sort of like the idea you made, but maybe use RPG Maker or something? Maybe like a fan-made back story for a character or something. Fortunately for me, I just ran into an old buddy of mine who plans to go into the Indie Development field with a friend of his when his friend returns from the marine core. I see him almost on a daily basis since his work is right across the street from where I work. I might print off the works we made and give them to him as an idea for a good horror game. Of course, some things will definitely have to be changed but it should all work out with a few more sleepless nights xd Ah that's great! XD looks like a sign. Would you ask for the guild's help? And as long as it isn't similar to Silent Hill, I believe it should be okay to make. I know it I made a horror game I'd really amp up the survival part of it. And I'd do that multiple character sort of thing they did for Heavy Rain xD

There is a topic on the main forum that is a sticky titled Let's make a game! There you can find all the information we currently have (the last page of that topic should have a summarized post of all information).

Rainier Silke I was reading it xD lol I saw there were a few people that didn't support it xwx Well you know, there's always going to be opposition to everything in this world. Someone could literally possess the entire storyline for the ultimate silent hill experience EVER (and I don't mean that opinionated either, I mean LITERALLY the only silent hill idea to ever exist of such magnitude is now laying before us) and there would still be 1 dude out there going "Eh, I don't think so. Sounds like it could all be a joke to me." And of course, there's always the fallback guy who says "Nothing will ever be better than the first one... originals all the way!" Even though his statement is far from original.

I mean, if they were bothered by something they could have added a constructive criticism expressing -why- not just because they "didn't like it". xwx Idk how many people just gave a simple reason or not, but yeah lol.

I personally don't remember if I did or not, but I was thinking there were a couple times I had to tell members to not post negatively unless there was constructive criticism involved. But for the most part, I remember an overall acceptance of the idea. Nevermind all the large contributions some members gave in the efforts of building the game! wink
