Getting up from his seat Vic wasn't planned to follow. He was still trying to get his mind out of worrisome thoughts so he thought playing his guitar would help. Luckily for him the guitar Moira had gotten him was nearby in the living room. Excusing himself with a light bow be moved on towards the location of his beloved instrument. First he checked if it was proper tuned which he just had to fix a bit. After it was all set he began to play a rather happy like melody in hopes of getting passed his worries.

Tobi watched Vic as he left, tilting his head a little. He then looked back to Moira and nodded. "Okay." He slid off of his chair and waited for her to show him around.

XXMoira watched of bVic leave, waiting a few seconds she heard the sound of him playing. Smiling, she waved her hand and lead Tobias off to the guest room which was just past the living room. "It's not a very big room, but it has a bed and all the needed things for a basic room. The Academy gave us some money to help with furnishing a room for you, so we can go shopping for things tomorrow if that's alright with you." Moira said with a smile as she opened the door to the guest room.
It's color scheme consisted of off whites, a variety of browns and blues with some greens here and there.

Tobi followed her to the room, once there he stepped inside and wandered around, looking at everything. He reached up to cover his mouth as a yawn over took him. "I'm kind of tired..."

XX"You can take a nap if you want to, Tobias. This home is yours just as much as it is mine." Moira smiled, walking in to the room and fluffing up the pillows on the bed. "It has been a pretty long day for you, hasn't it?" she asked semi curiously.

Tobi crawled up onto the bed, of course after removing his cloth shoes. He then settled himself under the blankets and nodded. "Yeah... I got up when Avon got up... really early." He the curled up, closing his eyes. "Thank you for adopting me..."

XXMoira watched him crawl into bed, gently tucking him into the blankets so he would be warm before leaning in to kiss his forehead. "It was an honor." She said cheesily, but there was no other words she could think of saying. "Sweet dreams, Tobias." She smiled as she spoke, moving to the door and turning off the light, "If you need anything, just ask.".
Closing the door, she sighed softly and looked to the living room. She needed to tell Vic what had happened to the boys previous parents and the circumstances surrounding the boys Adoption into their family. Walking to the room where her husband was playing, Moira sat down on the couch and pulled out the envelope that Avon had given her before she left the Academy. "Vic.. I have been keeping you out of the loop on what has been going on inside of the Academy for specific reasons of safety for your family, but I need to tell you what happened in the past couple months.." She spoke softly, not wanting to say anything too loud in case of it causing Tobias some form of harm if he had heard it.

Busy playing, Vic didn't hear nor see Moira come in so in went on play but when she spoke it Vic hit a sore note from being surprised. Clearing his throat be then turned around ready to smile but from hearing what Moira was saying that smile went to a frown. Something was up and it wasn't so good.
Placing his guitar down he went to sit next to Moira wonder just what happened that it would involved the safety of his family. "Can it be that serious?" He asked as he now looked at the envelope.

XXShe played with the edges of the envelope, "You remember that kid I said I was baby sitting? The odd one?" Moira started, her hands soon stilling as she let out a silent sigh - figuring it was best to just tell him what had happened. All of it, as quietly as possible. "That was Tobias, or it was his old self. I did some reading back when I was still in the Mansion that I was originally in and there were some papers on this .. this Virus that several of the older Metas caught. It apparently wiped their memories and reverted them back to the youngest stage possible. My... ex-grandma I guess you could call her that.. decided it would be a good idea to take a strain of the virus and produce variations of it to be used under extreme circumstances."
The half angel paused, taking a breath and glancing back to the door of the guest room, "Those circumstances reared their head a little while ago. If you remember how we were told to either stay on Academy grounds or inside our parents' houses? There was a reason behind it concerning a Meta and his parents... I'm not sure how the Elders cleared it up, but I'm pretty sure I can't tell you the full details of it." She sighed, running a hand through her hair.
"Either way, Avon has told us to take care of Tobias, to make him part of our family... the people he was with weren't the kindest on the planet.. if anything they were worse than mine..." Moira paused again, finally opening the envelope, "But he also gave me this envelope...." She murmured. Her words stopped as she read it, taking her time at first but then she seemed to read it over several times.
"We're also given the vast wealth that his parents had so we can raise him properly.. but I don't want to use all of it..." Moira whispered, handing the letter to Vic. The letter was short and to the point - telling what she had just told him but in simpler words but it contained what she didn't want to say. It said that Tobias' parents were murdered and that the two boys that were part of the goings on of the ordeal had to be injected with the Virus to be given a second chance.
Luckily or unluckily, Moira and Vic got to adopt Tobias and Moira herself seemed intent on making sure that the boy was raised in a welcoming home.

Vic nearly couldn't believe what he was hearing nor reading when he was given the paper. He had wondered what had happened for the elders to ask them to stay on the grounds but to actually find out. It really was a curve ball. His mind race to analyze the situation and about the boy. It took some time as he kept silent and stared at the paper. Near the end of this thinking he thought how he could deal or face the boy.
Vic looked to Moira with a worried look on his face. Despite what happened it wasn't the boy's fault such a thing happened and had to go through such hardship. Just like Moira the incubus would try pull Tobi from any dark place. Only meant he would try harder to get the boy to like him which was already hard since it seemed he wasn't liked. Least he liked Moira.
Giving a heavy sigh he gave Moira back the letter then leaned forward. "We have to be his family. Make sure nothing like this happens to him. No one should have this happen to them."

XXWhen she heard his words, Moira nodded and smiled as she reached to take his hands in her own. "We'll give him the life he should've had the first time." she whispered. As much as she envied the fact that some metas could have a second chance to have a proper family, her trials and tribulations had made her into who she was today and Tobias' second chance was a required one. One that he couldn't control.
She and Vic would help the boy form the life he should have been given in the first place.

"Yes." Vic replied as he held onto his wife's hands tightly. He may have looked calm but inside Vic was worried of the thought and possibility that if he hadn't been there for Moira the same situation would have possibly happened. He couldn't let the boy experience something like that again and even more if he was now under his wing. He just wish he could be liked soon by Tobi. It would make it easier for him.
