I've come to understand that the loss of virginity is getting to know physically another's body in a sexual way. So oral, a**l, etc. etc. constitutes no longer being a virgin.

Abuses of sexuality can also lead to the loss of one's virginity, including rape, adultery, or fornication. Other things like "dry humping" (i'm guessing clothes are still on sweatdrop idk...) and pornography might be immoral but don't result in the loss of virginity (unless you're doing even more inappropriate things with clothes and technology... eek ....i'm not even heading down this road).

...But if anyone is in doubt for their particular situation, they should spend a week at least in deep and sincere prayer with God to seek his word on whether or not what they intend to do is right in His eyes. People might confuse us, but God keeps it real....Hmm, i kinda want a button that says 'God: keepin' it real since forever.' blaugh

Well, after reading a lot of these opinions, I've come to question myself. Man...... *goes to sit in a corner and think about what I've done* emo

But, in all seriousness:

I personally think it depends on what specific virginity do you mean? Like a person could be a virgin of one act of sex versus hasn't had actual intercourse. Like hand or oral they wouldn't be a virgin of that, but for the intercourse they never had they are virgins for that.

As far as intercourse virginity, if one member loses it unwillingly through rape, because they were actually penetrated and went through the experience, they aren't a virgin anymore. The act had been committed and they had went through it, so it counts.

But oral, hand, a**l they all end in sex, so it's still sexual act like intercourse is.

I kinda don't agree with the visual aids being a loss of virginity, I find that as a trigger for lust to WANT to lose it and actually want to commit sexual acts. Sure, mentally your innocence would be affected, therefore mentally you aren't a virgin. Yet, if we stuck to that belief only, technically all of us wouldn't be virgins because of learning anatomy and having to take sex ed in elementary school. So in that case, no one would be a virgin now.

I have always stuck to the belief though, that the only way it really counts is by losing it through intercourse.

Question, if someone has committed intercourse, but hasn't been penetrated fully, by that i mean like complete insertion/the actual act of "quickening the pace" to "do the deed" so to speak, where it isn't actually intercourse, does it still count as losing your virginity? I've always wondered that. Idk why, it's just always crossed my mind. Because that's always like grey area or 50/50 type of thing. I mean, it could count, but would it if you haven't went through the deed in it's entirety?

I have a shirt that has the big red staples button, only it says "Jesus: instead of "easy" then under the button it says, One solution to all life's problems or something to that effect
