I'd rather discuss how the U.S. bombed thousands of innocent civilians in Japan.
that's ok. they got MacArthur. I wish we would have got MacArthur. If you do your research, you'll realize they thanked us for stopping them. The only logical reason is because of MacArthur's actions to provide contrast in the following decades. The other three reasons is because they had become a fascist state, many still believed the Emperor was god, and the government was grinding people into a war most wanted to have stopped, but no one could.
Thousands were bombed so that hundreds of millions might live and future generations could live in one of the most prosperous nations in human history. Have you seen the rights of Japanese before and after the MacArthur constitution? There's a huge difference. Some argue they had a better constitution than we did. Definitely true today after Bush and Obama.
Hundreds of people still die from the radiation of the bombed areas. Also, they aren't very prosperous considering they're going through a depression right now.
China is good financially, but environmentally and health-wise, I would not choose to live there.
in Japan, children are cherished by the government. People receive massive incentives to have kids, even though the citizens in general often have few or no children. In China it's the opposite. The government literally abducts pregnant women in the middle of the night and rips the baby from the womb to recycle it, and sometimes the body parts are chopped up and sold to pill factories and sold as beauty supplies on the black market.
By the way, I've lived in both China and Japan. Outside the cities China is not the modern marvel people take it for. They also ran out of modernization budget a couple of years ago, the progress is going to grind to a halt and they are trying to stabilize and back their currency by cashing in US bonds and acquiring foreign gold by several tons a day. I believe they know they're going to hit their bubble gum crisis and want to do everything they can to remain stable when it hits.
Japan owns most of it's own debt, but also owns a large percentage of the IMF debt, which means many other countries owe Japan.
As for the Germans being right about the Jews or whatever, I can only say that you can't judge all of Italy or Catholics on the Medici family. Those of you who are clever will understand what I am saying.
