Aragosnat I_Focus_On_The_Pain OliviaOblivia Aragosnat Pickled pigs feet anyone? mrgreen I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish.....thank goodness you can't have pickled fish-feet. Whew. Lol, I'm stating the obvious here; but fish don't have feet! whee Yep. Pickled fish fins anyone. mrgreen OliviaObliviaQuote: Which is why I am so relieved! Aragosnat seems intent on cooking me up and serving me for dinner, regardless of my species. Just trying to liven up your day as well as this guild. wink Well, my day certainly is livened, if that's the proper word that someone would use when they realize that someone wants to cook them for dinner. Pickled fins. I am in deep smeg.

Cleocatra Osiris I think that the later Kochanski probably is an Essex girl. NO! I say Kochanski is South London, Lister is most defo from Liverpool, Rimmer from Kent, and the cat from London.
Kryten I'd say is Western Britain maybe...but he's supposed to have a computer voice so look on IMDB as see where Rob's from and then mix that with a computer accent and you get Kryten. the two Holly's are from the Midlands I think.

I thought that Cat was American and Kryten Canadian...? Perhaps I have gotten myself mixed up again, as so often happens.

Right, Lister, as so many have already said, is Liverpudlian.
Robert Llewellyn has said in an interview that he was trying to give Kryten a Vancouver accent (going via Swedish!), although he has also said a lot of people from there have said he sounds nothing like! He decided to do a different accent to David Ross (who did very posh RP speech). Robert's real accent is Northhampton.
Cat has probably got an American accent, because in the books it is explained that he has learned English from books and watching The Flintstones. Danny is really a Londoner, if my memory serves me correctly.
The original Kochanski (Clare Grogan) had a Glaswegian accent, but the parallel universe version (Chloe Annett) has a Home Counties one.
Holly has got an East London accent in both versions.
Last but not least on the main crew, I think Rimmer has a slight Irish accent, but that is hardly surprising bearing in mind Chris Barrie was brought up in Belfast!
If anyone wants to argue, feel free! lol

Aye, the Cat has an American accent... I've just decided to call it the "tough guy" accent. xd I can't really tell that it comes from anywhere in particular, but it's sort of a mix between a New York accent and maybe Los Angeles sort of accent. It's kinda of a non-accent, really.
Kryten's definitely more of a Canadian accent, or Wisconsin if you want to move south a bit.
