Hey rabies and germs! We've got this forum finally worked out and it's got just a top-notch purpose in life; as a new RP space! The mod staff have decided we need a place for those wonky event threads and privatized threads, and so here we are. Now, before you get to posting, there are a few things you need to know. This thread is for in-character events that have no place in the current plotline. Events such as parties, one-on-one fights, and "pocket plots" go here. Roleplaying that relates to the current plot, but perhaps not in the same time period, also go here. Below will be a more detailed run-down of the Dos and Don'ts.

Pocket Plots/Special Events
It's rare, but on occasion someone will initiate a plotline so small that it has nothing to do with the main story. These plots can be lesser problems, such as escaped convicts, or missing possessions, to small-scale parties. Threads made to celebrate a holiday in-character also apply to this category.

Combative Threads
On occasion someone will challenge another, or opt for a grudgematch of sorts. This subforum is the perfect place to post the random fights you've been dreaming about. Challenge someone-anyone-and bring it here. Whether you want to see how you'll do against another, or want to teach someone a lesson they won't soon forget, or if you just really have your heart set on their spot, this is the place to do it.

Alternate-Timeline Events
When you need to have a flashback, say to display how you met another character, or how certain events came to happen in the current plotline, this is the ideal subforum to do so in.

Subforum Vocabulary
Every thread posted is characterized one way or another. These characterizations are noted in the title of the thread and have been listed and defined below for your benefit. Use them well.
ORP("Open Role Play") - This is an event thread where almost any guild member is invited to post. There are exceptions, say for species and allegiance, but it is mainly open to the public. You don't need an invite.
PRP("Personal/Private Role Play") - A PRP requires an invite to access. Only those with permission to post are allowed to.
ObRP("Observable Role Play") - A variation of a PRP where other players are invited to post in-character provided they only observe the events from afar.
PVP("Player VS. Player") - A category specific to combat roleplays. These threads are usually PRPs or ObRPs by nature.
