Kinu Misawa - Princess of the Misawa  The Empty AssassinKinu's vacant expression was fixed on the sky as she listened to the Captain speak. One might expect some manner of reaction from dire news like this. Perhaps even a small expression of surprise. Still Kinu turned her head to the captain meeting his eyes with a blank piercing stare. Her eyes seemed empty, like she had no personality whatsoever to identify with. "I see...we're almost at the worst case scenario then." She took a breath and returned her gaze to the sky. "Since you're a captain I'm certain I don't have to tell you what will happen if the wrong person gets their hands on that Ouken. Where is the Commander...did he not come personally to deal with this?"

Kinu Misawa - Princess of the Misawa The Empty AssassinKinu turned her eyes to his yet again as he answered her question nd then asked his own. Did he really just ask her that? She didn't show this in her stare but it is what she was thinking. "I told you I shouldn't have to tell you that but I assume you mean why I care about the world of the living. Well I would say that its none of your business...because it isn't," she snapped in a bit of a whisper. Her tone returned perfectly just as she spoke again. "I live here in the world of the living. Whatever threatens my home must be dealt with swiftly, I see no reason to enter the battle if the Gotei 13 can handle it however. I'll just be on standby right here where I believe to be the source. If anything comes for it, they'll find themselves blocked by a superior force." Her eyes narrowed as she looked away from him and back into the sky. "The Captain Commander is better suited for investigating matters this big. If we're considering that this is the Ouken then perhaps this would be considered."

After the disappointing battle, Naotaka would go back to the Shrine to visit Kenshin. Taking his steps, he would slowly sense the different presence in Karakura Town, and conflicts are almost... everywhere! Naotaka stood at the Shrine's roof, yawning as he waits. He is not on standby, hoping that no one comes and challenge him. "Now now~ Ken-chan seems to be enjoying himself~.", Naotaka said after a yawn, he was using his Reiatsu to sense how Ken-chan is doing. It's not clear though, but at the very least he knows what is happening around him.

Kinu Misawa - Princess of the Misawa The Empty AssassinKinu stood in place as Deborah spoke, she was glad that he seemed to be satisfied with her answer to his questions. She became lost in her thoughts about the situation and how some things seemed a little strange. "Hmmm...construction of the Ouken requires one hundred thousand souls as well as a spirit enriched plot of land with a radius of half a spirit mile. I wonder how all of these souls were harvested under our noses. Moreover, who constructed it? Or was the original taken? Only the Captain Commander of the Gotei 13 should know the location of the Ouken..." Kinu's thoughts would soon after be interrupted by the disappearance of the massive spiritual anergy they had sensed. She turned face the shrine with a vacant expression before calling out nonchalantly to Deborah. "Captain, come back, it could be a trap, that massive energy is gone...I wonder what this means..."

Looking out for the shrine, Naotaka would find himself in the presence of both new and old Shinigami. The old one is obviously Kinu Misawa, Misawa clan's princess. Naotaka knows her, not much back in the days, Naotaka was so busy with the Kido thing. Moreover, she is a rouge Shinigami who once dared to raise her sword upon the Captain-Commander. But who cares, even Naotaka himself is one of the few who left. In either case, Naotaka thinks of her as a fellow friend, not a comrade. The new one is... Well, a new one. Not sure about his name or his abilities. Naotaka can see how worried Kinu can be, with a smile, he moves to them and joins them. Approaching them, Naotaka would casually put his elbow on Kinu's shoulder, resting on it as if they were close friends. "Wow~ You guys seem so worked up by this Ouken thing eh~ How come you're interested Kinu-chan~?", Naotaka commented at first, but he turns out to be asking Kinu about her motives. She is a rouge Shinigami, how come she is helping the current ones?

Kinu Misawa - Princess of the Misawa The Empty AssassinKinu's eyes shifted to the shoulder that was now the resting place of Naotaka's hand. Kinu didn't particularly mind being touched so long as she knew who was touching her. Fortunately Kinu did know this man, or rather she had worked with him in the past as a member of the Gotei 13. He was always nice to hr even though her personality was distant and closed toward him. His desire to get to know the real her brought her to become fond enough of him to have random non work related conversation. He is also the only one ever to call her Kinu-chan without her snapping at him. She was happy to see him but her facial expression remained nonchalant and vacant. "Naotaka-kun...don't you know about the Ouken? Its a powerful instrument that allows the wielder to gain access to the dimension of the Soul King. Even though I no longer work under the command of the Soul Society, I cannot stand by while the fate several dimensions hangs in the balance." She turned her head forward again looking toward the shrine. "Why are you here, should a Visored really be showing himself in the presence of a Captain of the Gotei 13? Your kind aren't exactly liked by them."

Naotaka listened as the new captain spoke, he smiles and commented. "Wow~ I wish I was that hardworking~", Naotaka commented, he was not the kind to take things so seriously. Back in the days when he was still a Captain, he would just laid back and wait until orders. Well, can't blame Naotaka, back then nothing major had happened, not something as big as this. Kinu's voice made Naotaka shift his attention to her, he raise an eyebrow hearing her words coming from her lips. He chuckled a little and replied her first sentence. "I know this Ouken thing~", Naotaka commented as she was saying that she can no longer tolerate this. Naotaka wasn't surprised though, judging by how justified she is, there is no way Kinu would just ignore something so serious. When Kinu asked another question, though not facing him, Naotaka knew that she was asking him. "Hey~ A Visored doesn't mean an Arrancar. I'm more or less... 60% a Shinigami, and 40% a Hollow now~.", Naotaka started, making sure that he is on the Shinigami side even though he left them. "It's fine. The other Visoreds are missing, so I'm the only one here. Like you and Ken-chan, I too have a will to protect Karakura, and does not wish to see it fall. As simple as that~.", Naotaka finally spoke his reason, really, it's simple. Peace was all Naotaka wanted right after he escaped the Sereitei. Turning his attention to the new captain, he smiled and added. "Besides, I'm pretty sure that Mr.New Captain here won't be so irrational and raise his Zanpakuto at me right~?", Naotaka was confident to say that the man won't do that, judging by how he answered his question. Letting out a sigh, he turns to the explosions and commotion not far away. "So Kinu-chan~ What are we doing now~?", Naotaka asked, having no suggestion to the captains.
