Again, a shift brought cold air, her body beginning to show goosebumps by the uncomfortable mermaid who was getting hotter and hotter by the moment. Shown by the completely red body now, the mermaid was starting to get overwhelmed. She could feel his heart pounding and hers was as well as she got up and nodded.
She reached down to his hands and pulled them up so that she could cover his eyes and run off to the tent.
and disappeared in there for what seemed like forever.

"Amphi! Uh... I'm gonna go get our stuff!" he called to the tent, getting up a bit awkwardly and heading back for the water. He headed for the piles of clothes, picking them up and glancing at the water--he could have sworn he saw something--
Then he headed back for the tent, not about to deal with that. "I got our stuff, blue eyes. Are we ready for bed or do y'wanna hear some music by the fire?"

Amphi on the other hand was having the hardest time moving around in the small tent. While beds had been laid out and clothing packed at the end, the mermaid was stuck with one arm through a shirt while her head was craned at a way that it didn't allow her to slip the shirt on.
And she couldn't make a sound for Roch to come save her. So she sat awkwardly in the tent and waited for him to be concerned and help her.

When there wasn't a reply he frowned and got on his hands and knees, crawling into the tent--and staring at her blankly for a moment before a laugh escaped him. "Oh... uh... wow, wasn't expecting to see--"
And he burst into laughter, crawling inside and tugging her down onto the bed to help her put her shirt--
Well--y'know... he really SHOULD help her put her shirt on, he thought as his fingers traced over her exposed skin.

She gave him a pouty face under the shirt and shifted around as he moved her to lie on the bed instead. With the shirt pulled down, she had freedom to move and smiled instead, instantly replacing the pout completely.
Although, his hands trailed over exposed flesh that had the mermaid blushing and arching at his touch, staring at him with wide blue eyes and a biting of her lip.
And this was the bed that they had to share together! Which wasn't too odd because her whole escapade after the hunters trip had caused her to sleep with him every night but now...now she wasn't next to him because of nightmares.
Now it was just because she didn't want to be without him. Part of her remembered the protection charms and the other part had her hands pushing the reaper up. Bed, she was saying...or trying to hint at.
TO BED ROCH....BED. YES BED.

He grinned at her, ignoring the pushing, and leaned forward to kiss her--on the nose. "Enough teasin' for the night," he told her. "I'm gonna go finish up cleanin' up and stuff, then we'll go to bed," he told her, pushing up to his hands and knees and backing out of the tent.

Amphi nodded and then slipped under the sleeping bag, nuzzling in. She was sure they had a long trip ahead them so it would be better if she didn't...tease him? Smiling contently, she was asleep in mere seconds and didn't even move when Roch joined her after cleaning the campsite.
Oblivious to the living world.
