SeffHis heart beat faster when he heard Togan's words, if he doesn't come back he will take charge as Alpha. "Be an Alpha..? I can't possibly..."He shook off the thought and just did as instructed. He guided the pack back to the cave. He stayed at the back of the pack just in case someone ambushes them from behind. He looked back and saw Togan and his party disappearing into the deep woods. "Please come back alive.."

Raven
She watched Togan leave with some hunters and she became full with worry. She got up to follow him, but something darted under her. A puppy thought the chaos was all a game and ran to the entrance yapping happily. Her tail and ears went up in alarm and she rushed towards him.Tackling him to the ground, he pawed at her face playfully and she sighed in relief. Getting him by the scruff she carried him to the others and passed Seff. Her nose wrinkled and she turned her head, but the puppy lurched forward and wiggled free from her grip. It ran towards the Lone Wolf and wiggled around his paws. Raven went forward and took him by the neck again, scolding him with her eyes. The puppy stayed still and she looked up at the Beta. She could see his eyes were filled with worry too, and her eyes softened with sympathy. It's going to be okay. Togan believes in you, and uh, you're one of our best Betas. So..uh, you'll do great in whatever you do.She turned her head sharply and left to leave the puppy with his mother and siblings.

Varg
He heard a branch snap,and he looked in its direction. Letting out a laugh, he said,"You've to do better if you plan to avoid my eyes." As he said this,the enemy hunter came out of its hiding spot. "Come any closer,and you'll see what this old dog can do." he said,stretching. The black wolf decided to attack instead of heed the warning,driving Varg into action. He quickly dodged the prounce then turned back to face him. "Such unwise of a choice." He said,letting out a slight laugh. Another of the enemy tried to attack him from behind,but he jumped out of the armature's way. "What a pitty." Then they attacked together, overwhelming the old wolf, but he was able to down one and injure the other. The injured one coward and ran away,wining. "Still got it." He said to himself,as he went back atop of the rock. He turned to Raven and said," This is why I lay here. I picked them both up on my way in here. I may be old,but my tactics are what caused me to walk away with minor wounds. In battle one must outwit the enemy by making themthink,they're weak. This causes the headstrong opponents act,as you seen. In my years as a lone wolf,I've learned to act upon being one step ahead,thus is why I lived as long as I have. Id there anything you wish to know,further?' He awaitred a reply from Raven,as he looked out into the forest and listened in on his surroundings. The light of the moon made his pure white coating give him a look as if he were a spirit,but in truth he was just as alive as the next person. He toned in on the young pup playing and Raven scolding it. He then smiled lightly as a vision of his mate, appeared in the woods before him. Her eyes told him to return to the frozen tundra,where the two had left,but he knew it was a vision,and nothing more. "I would return,but right now I'm needed here. You understand that Fang." He muttered to himself. A tear dripped down his muzzle as he thought of his late mate,who had died in their hunt against a buck. "i'll join you soon,I feel it may be my time." He also stated to himself,he then continued his watch through the night.

RavenShe watched the Old Wolf fight some of the rival members. Fear made her fur bristled as they made a big commotion, and birds fly into the air because of the noise. Once it settled down she shook her fur and looked at Varg. Well..that is pretty good tactics. I didn't hear the rivals approaching, let's see if the hunters out there didn't hear you guys fighting either. She huffed out and turned away from him while he thought.

"If they did,then I'll gladly give my life for the safety of the lot of you,if htey didn't then by now they're thinking of what to use next if that scout who I allowed to get away told them of what happened. However,as I'm the only known wolf to fight a grizzly bear alone,besides my late mate, they could be more cautious on how to approach the pack,but my estimate is that their elders know I've returned and are knowledgeable of my tactics." He said,looking at the young huntress. "When they come,I shall be ready." He said to himself,then returned to his watch.

Togan The party emerged from the tree-line again. Togan shook the water off of himself as the others did the same. They had used the river to lose their pursuers, and now the other two were tired from having to run while wet. Togan looked back into the woods.
"I'm sorry Gruta..."
One of the others hung his head. "That idiot! Why did he have to be the hero!? I'm the one who broke a leg, why did he have to try and fight them off by himself!?"
Togan rested his head on the young one's shoulders. "Enough. Your brother was more concerned about your life than his own. He did what he thought was right. His reward is to return to the fields of the spirits." "But he was the strong one....how will I tell mother?"
Togan nudged him.
"We tell her the truth. That he fought bravely and saved all our lives. He deserves no less, Koto." Koto looked up at Togan and recomposed himself. "Your right..." He and Sato, the other hunter, went into the caves to rejoin the others. Togan stayed behind, looking out into the woods. The scene was still fresh in his mind. A ghost from his past. His scar ached as he though about the familiar face he had seen.
"Noak........why have you come back?"
