[»] Due to the nature of Daku's combat style, he as a Ninja tends to favor the more close range of fights compared to the long range skirmishes which tend to be situations of trade fire; As such Daku has for the most part honed his skills in close to mid range combat, including hand to hand & weapon based combat situations; in-fact his knowledge in hand to hand & weapon based combat is something not to take lightly when engaging with this individual. With the addition of his Distortion Release as well as his primary Elemental Nature being Lightning Release; this gives Daku a wide variety of choices when it comes to dealing with such situations.
This however does not imply he can not engage in a long range battle, but due to his experience and training, he is a Ninja whom is better suited for the opposite of combat scenarios.

Summoning: Water - Sea Dragon
What do you know about it?: Umi the proclaimed "King Of The Seas" is a dragon like creature that spans 17"01' Imperial & 5.1m Metric in size and length; Able to talk in the English language Umi has a very superior position among his animal comrades within the sea world and is regarded as a higher being.
One of the more unique aspects of Umi is that not only can the creature swim at very fast rates of speed by folding it's flaps in on its back; but it can also fly at just as fast very well. Umi has manipulation over Water Release so much so that it can perform Water Release Ninjutsu without handsigns, this itself makes Umi as a summon all the more powerful against the user's foes.
How did you acquire the summon? During his rise to power before Dakuenjeru even was selected to be the first Raikage; Daku set out to the far ends of the land towards the sea for enlightenment over the upcoming creation of a unified governing body which would later become the Lightning Country..Staring out into the open sea he yelled at the top of his lungs in frustration over all that has occured, including the death of his father so many years ago; What he got in response was roar, but not from anything he could have imagined and from the depths of the sea shot out a large dragonic like creature which sprouted its wings and flew into the sky with such ease and majestic awe.
Stunned by the might of the creature before him Dakuenjeru did not think a creature such as this existed in the world of today, however the creature peered down at him showing off its superiority over man and began to speak to Dakuenjeru; Noticing the rage in his heart the creature asked him what he would do with such rage for his fellow man. In response Dakuenjeru replied that his rage was no more, for he intended to vent his anger where the world could not see..To unify the region with the most purist of minds.
The creature was surprised an individual of man was considerate enough to forbid himself from conducting actions out in anger and gave Dakuenjeru an offer. "Prove yourself to me that you are capably strong enough to unify the region with the purist of minds. Fight me and if you live, I would make a pact you, an individual of man."
And so the two fought violently, ravaging the sea and earth with their jutsu until finally man rained supreme over The King Of Seas; and so a pact in the form of a contract was created; for whenever things grow dark and dire, that Dakuenjeru would call upon the creature who presented itself as Umi, King Of The Seas to grace the individuals of man who live on the land and rid themselves of the rage and darkness within in combat.

[»] Dakuenjeru Minamoto is an individual who has two sides, much like a coin in that on the outside he openly is presented as a somewhat idiotic and clumsy man; Who has a tendency of making a fool out of himself as well as his foes. But however deep down, those who know him better understand that within his personality is an individual who is both intelligent and cold when the time calls for such things; Especially so when his comrades are threatened.
But how did such a man become the first Raikage of the Lightning Country?
Born in a world during the bloody and gritty time known as the Clan Wars Dakuenjeru was brought up in mountain rich area in the north-western lands of the mainland; being a member of the uniquely skilled Minamoto, Dakuenjeru was brought to bare the beautiful lands of his home and people, even from various other parts of the land...This was not without its downsides however, for every coin has two sides and as such Dakuenjeru quickly learned that people were not all kind and generous as some may wish..The confrontations between the Waring Clans grew closer to home then battle should ever be to a child, so close in-fact that Dakuenjeru is not an alien of watching Death at somebody's door.
As he grew up however, Dakuenjeru was taught by his father Arashi Minamoto at a considerably young age the dreams and ideals of unification and the sweet fruits they bare for not only their own clan, but others as well. Such ideals were unique to some degree, as some clans enjoyed such a socialist ideology whilst others despised the very notion of the concept; So after years of favor being gained by Arashi and the fellow members of the Minamoto by deeds such as protection, escort and various other actions to ensure to the various clans and feudal lords of the land that the Minamoto fought for them and offered peace and prosperity to them, they finally got the attention they deserved and as such the support for a one unified nation grew till it was actually being constructed right in-front of Dakuenjeru's young eyes.
Things seemed to good to be true and some were right to think as such; As tensions grew between clans who supported the concept & those who did not, among the many powerful clans who took advantage of this weakness was the Uchiha Clan, a rivaling clan who despises the Minamoto and vice versa. Open war between the two was something that could not be avoided, as the Uchiha staged attacks on those who backed the ideal of a one nation unification; in response the Minamoto fought back in various battles that would go on and off over the years to come.
Meanwhile however, Dakuenjeru by the age of 5 was continuing his training by the watchful eyes of his mother & father and he did deliver. As son to the head of the clan, Dakuenjeru did not waste time on growing more in tune with the arts of not only becoming a great Shinobi but a true heir and prodigy to the Minamoto Clan. And so by the age of 11 he had become quite the young Ninja, with a carefree attitude and lively mind, What else could go wrong?
But indeed it did, after a few years and by the time Dakuenjeru was 15 his father had been killed in action along with various other big names in the Minamoto Clan within a bloody battle on open grounds by the Uchiha Clan. upon which Arashi's body was never recovered and it had seemed that the Uchiha had taken the body itself..This had a drastic effect on not only Dakuenjeru and his mother, but the entire foundation of the unification itself...Many deemed the project "Lost" without its lead figure to strive it forward, many but not all. Certain Clans generally believed in Arashi's ideals and continued to work for not only his memory, but all those who have died to see this project through.
This in on its own sparked a flame in Dakuenjeru's heart, as he managed to finally climb his way over the sorrow at his fathers loss after a few months and continued on, vowing to become the new protector of his father's ideals and the people within. And so through years of training and growing up, Dakuenjeru became a fine adult by the age of 21; All the while helping those within the community and pushing for the construction of the nation forward.
Through the years until he was 23 Dakuenjeru had met various people in his travels and deeds, one of which was Chau Liáng a rather pragmatic young female Ninja who eventually became apart of the community project along with Liáng Clan; To which became somewhat of an awkward pair of comrades seeing as sometimes they would be rather alright with one-another whilst playing intellectual games and such, and other times they are like a comedic joke of a friendship, as Chau despises Dakuenjeru's laziness and carefree attitude at times as well as his attitude on fights and other serious situations. Deep down however she knows him better then anyone else, and as such they respect each other very well even if it may not show to others at times.
By the age of 31 he and Chau had became close friends and Dakuenjeru himself had gained respected favor among the community as finally the country his father dreamed of building had came to completion and was dubbed "Lightning Country - Kumogakure (Village Hidden In The Clouds)" ironically this was not the only village who had unified itself as a single governing body..Nations all over the world began sprouting up, following suit to the idea of a unified nation. It was then that the 5 biggest and most powerful nations were dubbed "The Five Great Nations" who would be lead by Kage to strive them forward and beyond into the future..Still to this day however Dakuenjeru has a personal distaste for the Uchiha Clan whom now are apart of the similar Governing Body of the Fire Country.
It is here where our story begins as Dakuenjeru is selected to become the first Raikage of the Lightning Country and finally completes his father's will. The time of the Lightning Country had begun.
