I'd like to say first and foremost thank you to Hinote, for taking up the mantle of the captain position when the guild truly needed one. It was a kind and noble gesture, one that cemented Hinote as a friend in my book. Had that not been done, we would not be here today my friend, so my sincerest of thanks Hinote.
Next, I'd like to address what I'm assuming is on most people's minds based on the questions I've been getting over the past day, which is the changes to come. To be honest, there won't be that many public changes to the guild that will be noticeable by members. As usual, we'll be continuing our updates on the guild and let you guys know when something is complete, or possibly going to change. With that in mind, I'm going to create a new specified suggestion thread in the main form. I urge and implore any and all active members of the guild to pleeeaaase give us some input in this thread, as it'll help to kind of steer the crew workload for weeks to come. As for the crew itself, be prepared to vote on a new guild VC. Although I've held the title for quite some time and very much enjoyed doing so, it is time I relinquish that title to someone else. This and any other planned changes for the crew will be listed in the crew forum within 24 hours.
I also want to touch on the latest spike in guild activity. I would like all kage's to get a village head count going, as in yet another check-in thread in each village. I'll simply need the total number of people who have signed in, no specifics on who it is or anything like that. This is so that I can match the number to the reported number of profiles submitted for each village. Just as well, once we can get a head count we can start figuring out which villages are struggling in numbers, and which are doing relatively well to ensure we siphon new members into those villages to boost overall activity. I'd like to also add as a side note to kages, to pleeaaaase promote group missions within your village. It's imperative that missions are completed so that genin can progress. I know the mission boards are posted in each village, but it seems to me people rarely pay attention to them. As a general suggestion, we should implement a sign-up sheet on mission boards so we can actually pair genin up with each other for missions, but I'll delve into that more in the crew forum.
Lastly, I'd like to thank all of you who voted. Period. Everyone who voted makes this guild what it is, and prove that when it comes down to it our members really care for this guild. I'm not going to comment too much on becoming the new captain because it isn't really that important in my opinion. What is important is that this guild is in good hands, with people, and great friends. I hope you guys continue to give us your input and be as vocal as possible; be the change you'd like to see in this guild!
So as the sun has set on yet another chapter of The Path of the Shinobi, let's make this new chapter a pivotal moment in the story of this guild!
