The fallen demon sighed. "Why..." Sighing, he shook his head. "They really don't want us together, even though I've proven that they can't keep her from me, not forever." He closed his eyes. "How's the elf? The usual?"

She chortled. "Kit's been grumpy. Turned ten people into stone last I had heard." She looked at the doll, which had finished fanning the water away. "See about getting the pots righted? You might need to call on friends." The doll jumped and cried out. Around the red doll, more red ones, a black one, and some gold ones appeared. They started moving the pots upright, working together. Their chatter filled the air.
She chortled again. "Silly dolls."

The demon watched the dolls. "Still have the Kokeshi, I see. How many people have you creeped out with it? At least half the beings here?"

She shrugged. "Several people, probably." She turned to Goldie. "She's not in the best of moods. Should probably whack her..."

She shrugged. "Whatever." She turned to Goldie and picked her up with the brush as the dolls finished placing the pots back upright. "Shut up and fill the pots! Do that and you'll be dry in a heartblink. If ya want, Windy here and some of the dolls can get you back going, and not leave you overloaded."
