Hmm.. After scanning the park a while during their stroll so far, it seemed to her that there weren't nearly as many individuals around now on this early morning than there were during later times of the day. Rachelle felt herself relaxing more at the consideration and allowed herself to entwine her fingers together while she raised them in an overhead stretch of her arms before having them swoop down in arcs at both her sides. One of her hands landed on the back of her friend and guardian, who remained focus on other sights and not in the least surprised by the contact. The dark-furred doe had grown to be this comfortable and familiar with Rachelle in that it was nearly as though they were extensions of each other. Often, one need not look and check and they still would know that it was the other as soon as the point of just starting to reach out and even differentiating between a gesture's absent or present purpose for transition to more expressive communication or not.
As they steadily proceeded, the image of a butterfly surfacing in her thoughts did little to alter her pace beside the deer who was the source of the transmission. Though the chosen did shift her field of vision to look around and spot the fluttering creature should the sighting have been in real time rather than a memory. Still, she next suddenly felt inspired and Rachelle smoothed the fur on Vy's back before taking off into first a rising movement displacing both an upper and alternately lower limb higher than their counterparts into the air, then entering into a light, quick prancing step followed by a leap keeping her suspended for an airborne moment. The ankle length skirt of her dress ballooned around and below her knees when Rachelle turned to face Vy after the short sequence of dance and saw the doe approaching her without hurry. "Not quite like a butterfly, but close, I think," were the smilingly said words of the chosen to the guardian in conversation while taking slow backward steps still without a halt in the middle of their traversing.

The red ball collided with his wooden paddle with a loud crack, sending it up to the bright blue sky like a bird swooping down on its prey. And all this, while impressive to see, wasn't Oliver's intention.
"Ahh, I got too much power today it seems," he laughed to himself, shaking his head in his mistakes today. He wasn't exactly on his game today in his practice, the stress of the upcoming cricket match getting on his nerves easily. It was one of the games that decided if his team would be narrowed down to the tournament. And to Oliver, not making that cut wasn't an option. Ziha slowly made his way to his Chosen, sending him peaceful waves of comfortable feelings, picturesque images of places that felt like home, the surge of victory and contentment.
"Thank you." he put his hand on the deer's head, giving him a warm smile. The peaceful buck never really let him down, always finding a way to try and comfort him at times like these and even without saying anything, Ziha knew.
He took a deep breath, retreating his hand from the pale buck as the guardian trailed quietly behind him. "That was pretty far, hm?" He thought to himself, jumping from the grass field to the pathway of the area, trying to search for the ball that went wayward. He kept a watchful eye, looking around intently for that bright speck of red anywhere.
But then immediately something--someone caught his eye, making the young lad blink in surprise and confusion. Not merely because he was surprised to see someone in the vicinity but of this woman's --uhm, position in the middle of the park. Nevertheless he was intrigued, watching her graceful movements from a respectable distance, brown eyes watching her--before he spotted a--another doe?
He couldn't help but shake his head in coincidence, having met another person with a creature as he. Ziha no doubt, sensed this other doe but as always he remained placid and observing, observant green eyes eyeing the rich brown doe.
Oliver wasn't one to introduce himself to another easily but this had to mean something, right? "Excuse me..." he started carefully, not wanting to startle the young girl.

Truth be told, the red ball that had landed in the grass within Vy's peripheral vision did not go unnoticed by the doe as Rachelle was absorbed in her short dance. The feeling of curiosity had been transmitted between the guardian to the chosen, however according to Rachelle's words in their one-sidedly voluble communication, there was some misunderstanding. Nevertheless, Vy had began to content herself with partial success in their means of conversation while on their stroll when a sudden opportunity arose.
"Um--y-yes?" Vy's ears perked at the sight of Rachelle turning to the side and responding to the sound of another human voice and in eagerness, she slowly made her way to and approached the mystery that was red and round while she presumed Rachelle would be occupied with another verbal interaction for a bit of time as experience had shown her.
"Hello," Rachelle had been pleasantly surprised but still her voice came out softly. The wave she had meant to accompany her greeting with was somewhat delayed, but the bright awe in her expression made her appear less meek than usual, apart from when dancing is taken into account.
For a moment, in great astonishment, her mind was full of questions all at once before she remembered the individual who had addressed her seemed to have a question. "Um.." her thoughts were speeding around in her head. She recognized him as a cricket player but only from having seen children playing aside from herself a number of times while walking to the theatre with her parents. Rachelle was home-schooled and hasn't had the opportunity to play herself despite her wanting to try and ask to join the games of others, her parents having in mind with their good intentions to keep her out of harms way as much as they could.
Meanwhile, in mere seconds, a fair amount of activity had been transpiring at the doe's end. Vy had cautiously given the red object a gentle tap with a responding roll a small distance. Becoming a bit bolder, she had added a bit more force after stepping toward the peculiar roundness again, which had her chasing it a longer but still short ways before it stopped and she followed to a halt.
"..Is there-" Perhaps his sibling had run off while carried away with playing in the park and he was looking for him or her? At this consideration, her vision had began looking to one side and then the other. At this she finally noticed an absence as she spun around with concern and jolted slightly in her gaze zeroing in on what prompted her brief but desperate search.
"Oh, i-is that your ball, Sir? Vy--" Rachelle asked the man right before calling out her friend's name while already headed to where the doe stood awaiting her after hearing her name and seeing Rachelle walking purposefully towards her.
Rachelle smoothed her hand on the guardian's fur as she picked up the ball with her other hand, a tacit exchange between the doe and human that the ball was to be returned as they made their way back to where they had last been on the path they were taking.
"Were you looking for this, Sir?" Rachelle offered the red ball to him. As much fun as the red object had been, Vy's curiosity quickly took note of the presence of the buck next. It was the first time the doe had seen another deer here in the city and the same was true for Rachelle who had been having difficulty jumping right to addressing this similarity between the four of them from the very start.

The way the young girl spoke carefully and how she seemed to always address him as 'sir' made him smile and shake his head, not wanting to somehow accidentally intimidate her! "Sorry for my intrusion, little miss--" he said with that slight slang in his tongue, lifting his hand to his chest and bowing his head down at her in respectful greeting. "My name is Oliver and yes, that is my ball." He gave her a brief look that asked for forgiveness for interrupting her.
Oliver was not familiar with anything outside his chosen profession but he was definitely aware that that --move she did wasn't usually what people did in the part, or even that normal people could do! And she was dressed in a fine dress, a far cry from the male's usual practice outfit with patches of dirt on his brown slacks.
All the while, Ziha continued to rest his brilliant eyes on the younger deer, the light buck finally starting to take short careful steps towards Vy as not to startle her at all. He sent little waves of peaceful energy to the doe as much as he could, greeting her as well as assuring her that he and his chosen weren't any threat to both females.
He took the red ball she offered to him, nodding his head in thanks and putting it safely back into his loose pocket and hoping that it wouldn't stray again. "Again, sorry for the interruption but ah, I couldn't help but notice---" he just had to point it out as his warm brown eyes lowered on the two creatures that we close by. It seemed to him Ziha was already making himself noticed, bowing his light head towards the rich doe, not moving any closer than that until she wanted. "----the totem tree?" he said finally, indicating the way he had attained it (and also how he found out from Zavier that he got it in a similar way than he).

"Oliver, hello, um, I'm Rachelle. Oh, it's really alright, and it's nice to meet you," with her smile and voice remaining soft yet bright, and as she held her skirt's sides with a small curtsy, she introduced herself as well. "Ah, yes," pleasant surprise appeared and mixed in her expression, "I..the..totem..tree.." She found herself searching for words in explanation and piecing ideas of possibilities together in her mind before continuing on, "..the totem tree is where..well, after I acquired a totem there, shortly after, I met Vy." Rachelle then finished her challenge of a glued up response with an embarrassed chuckle accompanied by an open-palmed gesture of her fingers towards the orange-eyed doe. "D-did..you also meet your friend in the same way, Oliver? May I ask, what is his name as well?"
The caution in Vy's part had also been gradually dissipating in comparison to initially. Observing orange eyes watched the light buck as her ears faced forward in curious alertness as well. She noted their similarities and differences in their facial features, her chin tilting up slightly when looking at his antlers since it was the first time she's seen a buck this close. She bowed her head, too, in peaceful greeting within their group and also carefully moved forward a bit before halting again. In the end, her steps made little difference though and yet she felt the atmosphere of the meeting between the four of them was quite a bit more comfortable in the added moments so far.
Her peripheral vision had just barely followed the flashing red color that disappeared but she had an intriguing idea about wanting to play 'catch' -- or 'roll' would probably be more fitting of a description -- with the fellow guardian and perhaps also the chosens, if they'd all like to play, too. But would it be okay? In her internal self-questioning, Vy had in a subconscious motion momentarily stared at the pocket of the man before transitioning to looking between the two humans and then focusing again on observing the buck.

He was glad for the kind welcome of the younger girl, finding her gentle disposition charming as she curtseyed. Of course like a proper gentleman he greeted her this way in a more obvious gesture, bowing his head and back to her, a smile playing on his lips. He nodded his head at her answer and the question back to him, remembering the day he found his own totem very clearly. "The large tree with many totems, yes." he started, looking thoughtful. "His name is Ziha, the one who chose me." Oliver was never one for these vague mystical explanations, the concept of something so supernatural and wonderful suddenly touching his life--but it was one he couldn't ignore. And he knew Rachelle would understand that.
With the mention of his name by his chosen, the buck carefully stepped closer to the rich brown doe, light green eyes trying to carefully interpret her actions. The doe was younger than he, Ziha knew, feeling an immediate responsibility to take the first step into really communicating he carefully pressed his light nose to her neck, stepping back in quiet assurance that he wouldn't do anything that would make her uncomfortable. Though with her glance to the bright red ball, he made his way to his chosens pocket, nudging the red ball and quickly making it fall on the ground.
"And how about your doe? What's her name---- Ziha??" It was rather unusual for the buck to act mischievous, watching him with large brown eyes as the ball hit the ground and Ziha pushed his nose against it and towards the female doe.

"Ziha..seeing you two together, Oliver, it makes me believe you were both meant to meet, Ziha and you.. How..mysterious and amazing, I'm thinking and I wonder about this connection between us, why Vy..chose Rachelle, why Ziha chose Oliver, these thoughts cross my mind," Rachelle chuckled softly, smilingly, and sheepishly, "Oh, I'm replying in an odd order.. Vy, my friend, the one who..chose me..Vy is her name." Rachelle weaved and untangled her fingers in a gesture connected to the slight feeling of diffidence having currently come over her toward how she was presently conversing with questionable clarity. But the diffidence was soon forgotten in what transpired next.
Meanwhile, the younger deer's eyes widened just a bit with caution but just as soon as her orange orbs did had they relaxed again. Carefully the doe touched her nose to the buck's side and stepped back in similar motions, the feeling of friendship growing for her.
"Vy?" Oliver's questioning to Ziha seemed to coincide with the gradually increasing happy waves the doe was sending her, Rachelle observed as Ziha procured the red ball.
Vy nudged the red ball an inch to the side upon receiving it, touched her nose on Ziha's side again thankfully and gleefully, followed by returning to the ball to give it a nudge again and this time sent it rolling back to the buck.
