Events + Contests Suggestion Box Do you have an idea for a neat event the guild can participate in? (i.e. Free Art Day) Or do you have an awesome contest idea? Please write it down and drop it off at this Suggestion Box! Don't be shy, we're all fellow Bartons here. **Guild staff will vote on your event/contest! So please give it at least a 1-2 days in advance.
**Events will be posted by GUILD STAFF (Crew, Vice Captains, Captain).
**Contests, unless it is MIGHTY BIG, can be posted by individual members
**Please keep to Gaia's ToS and obey all rules. EVENT/CONTEST FORM. Please copy and paste the code, and fill it in with your ideas! c:

ZOMG TAKE-OVER PARTY!!... We could have fun doing boss raids, hanging out, or have a 3 - 6 team scavenger hunt, involving finished recipes or other ingredients. 3nodding ZOMG TAKE-OVER PARTY!!
Describe the contest/event?:
2-4 hour Gaming event in Zomg.
WHEN should the event take place?:
Whenever all of us have some time off to play... We may even be able to have one every month just in case everyone missed the last one.
WHERE should it take place?(i.e. forums, towns, zOMG, fishing):
We should meet in the Barton town square, and discuss the event schedule before we do anything, but it could be anywhere in Zomg.
Why did you suggest this event?:
For two main reasons...
1. I love to play Zomg with my friends, as i'm sure a alot of you do as well.
...and...
2. Zomg is a place where we can have fun as a guild in interactive realm space (including Barton itself) among fellow Gaians.
Are there prizes involved?:
Absolutely, we can discuss that on an event thread.

You may set up the thread for your zOMG Take-Over Party in the Main Forum. And if you need help, please let me know 3nodding (but please use the form next time, Prince! I worked hard on it sweatdrop <3)

Barton Annual Halloween Extravaganza
Describe the contest/event?:
This is a Halloween costume contest, either themed or in general.
WHEN should the event take place?:
To take place annually, about the same time that Gaia launches their Halloween event.
WHERE should it take place?(i.e. forums, towns, zOMG, fishing):
The costume contest could either be here in the guild, in the chat space, or in towns. Because of the contest, it would be easier to do this event in the guild so that we can use the poll system to vote on costume winners.
Why did you suggest this event?:
Not everyone wants to do Gaia's Halloween event, and some just get tired of it. It would be nice if us Bartobs could host our own little bash.
Are there prizes involved?:
Yes. First place gets 1K gold, Second gets 750 gold, and third gets 500 gold.

Sorry guys for the hold up! Some things are being changed about how Events/Contests/Suggestion box+forum will be running. Both of your events are great ideas and will most definitely be held. Please know that we will MOSTLY LIKELY going to be making separate threads for both your events in our Post Office (Suggestions Forum)-- and have people flock there to leave comments and more ideas for the events+ recruit. (I THINK thtat's what's going to happen.) Flyers will be made for these suggested events, and announcements will also be sent out. Just bear with me please sweatdrop Again, sorry for the wait! I wasn't ignoring-- just working things out. <3

Just something I'd like to build upon the zOMG Takeover idea with... Themed Meets
Describe the contest/event?: well, every couple weeks we all decide on a certain theme to dress our avis in and then go on a zOMG raid. like we could all dress as pirates and raid the beach areas, or dress as ninjas and hang out in zen gardens.

Why did you suggest this event?: I've participated in some before and they've always been a blast.

Sounds good, Earth! Again like I told the others, these events WILL be created-- but as of right now, still trying to figure out how to EFFICIENTLY handle these requests. I'm going to be moving the Suggestion Box thread into the Suggestion Forum now. --a step towards organization. xD
