Debated whether to post this here or in men's subforum but I think this is more about what underwear females find attractive.
Anyway I had some lingerie on yesterday when I went to Tom's house. When we were getting down to sexytime, he was like "Haha I put on my best underwear too!"
And I looked at his colourful patterened boxer briefs and I was like "If you hadn't told me I wouldn't have known...but it's really nice that you thought about it!" I thought it was quite cute given that he really isn't the sort of guy who cares what clothing he wears beyond making sure his t-shirt isn't the same colour as his jeans and frequently wears odd socks. xD
And he was like "Yeah I know, but there isn't really sexy underwear for men is there?"
So here's what I wanted to know ladies...is there such thing as sexy underwear for men? Personally I'm not sure I find any male underwear particularly titillating, although I can think of certain things which are unsexy. I just think most attempts at looking like sexy lingerie for men come off as gimmicky and costume-looking/really camp.

I like Craig in silk boxers.
There are other things sexier though, I guess? But everything makes men look like they have a baseball in their pants LOL.
There are tear away underwear that are velcro at the sides. I've seen the bikinis but there are also boxers I'm told.
There are G strings that cover nothing but the package. (Some are hysterical in that they are animals like an elephant in the front and the trunk makes the banana hammock).
There's also fantasy costumes for men, just like there are for women.

And yeah Tom and I have laughed at those like, p***s sock things shaped like elephant trunks etc. @the other ladies - but if they wear boxer briefs all the time, it's not really the equivalent of lingerie for girls, imo

I like boxer briefs too, Stephen just wears boxers, though. I kinda find them sexy, lol.
I know I don't like tighty whities.

There's a whole discussion on gender and sexuality to be had here but to keep things short: women put a lot more into "looking sexy" than men do in all aspects of appearance Underwear isn't much different. In a land where guys wore g-strings to impress their ladies and women didn't, I'm sure that garter belts and see through panties would look gimmicky too.
That said, I bought my bf these really soft boxer briefs in my favorite color and he wears them on special sexytimes. He's also put on some of my lacy thongs before, for lols, and he actually didn't look half bad.

That's why I prefer the silk boxers VC. The rest are rather dorky LOL.
Though, I suppose costumes wouldn't be bad. He's never worn them, even though I have a few for me. He likes me in them though.
