Over the span of around four years I've been raving and two years ago I got into a type of jewelry that's called kandi. It's made with pony beads and some string. They're symbols of friendship and are big in the rave scene, my work can be found Here cxI make bikinis, cuffs, singles, figures, balls, all sorts of stuff out of beads. c: If you make any kandi or work with beads I'd love to see your work!

Do you think it's possible to make the designs and such with smaller beads and string? I don't have those types of beads, but many other types smaller though. I'm sure i'd have to group many of the beads together to make a picture though. Probably take a lot longer though too.

I have some pieces that I've made using baby pony beads, and one using beads a little bit bigger than seed beads, and they turned out ok. They just tend to be very fragile and breakable, since you can't use as strong of thread as you would with regular sized pony beads.

Actually~ I recently was given some of the beads that you use in the Kandi making, so I think once i find a pattern I like imma try to make something ^_^
