Basic Information
- All fanfiction.net members are encouraged to participate! Whether you write for Plays/Musicals or Anime/Manga, anyone can enter the contest.
- The First Prize winner will be decided by the entire guild. Crew's Choice will (obviously) be picked by the crew.
Rules of Entry
*THIS IS IMPORTANT! Inability to follow the rules will lead to the disqualification of your entry.*

1. Your story must incorporate the theme: Dog Days of Summer.
2. Stories must be between 500 and 10,000 words. Anything shorter or longer will be disqualified.
3. You may write for any rating, however, the highest rating we will allow is a T. Stories that are M or MA violate Gaia's ToS and will be immediately deleted by Guild Staff.
4. You may curse and swear. However, we do ask that you refrain from usage of the two F-words and the C-word as they are more highly offensive than most.
5. All entries must be in no later than the 20th of September . Any stories posted after that will be disqualified.
6. You may NOT submit a story that has been previously posted on another website. (including Gaia) Please, we want fresh entries!
7. Standard forum and Gaia rules still apply.

- First Prize: 80k Gold Prize and the entry will be advertised on the main forum page for a month
- Crew's Choice: 60k Gold Prize and displayable 'medal' for Gaiaonline profile
