She pressed the girl, the kick going unheeded. Her Opth was in trouble! She couldn't be dissuaded from her attack by a few slaps or a poorly aimed kick. Bade reached for the girl's neck again.

Mazamath, Attacking Opth
This time, her claws connected, and her attempt to throw him off succeeded. Adi was in trouble! Not that she hadn't been in trouble pretty much since the beginning, but now she was in real trouble.
He threw himself at the crimson, trying to barrel her out of his way. Mine!
The woman came at her again, and though she tried to get away, Adi felt her hands close around her neck. No! She tried to grab at her enemy's hands and pull them away, to save herself from being strangled.
Opth hunkered down and body checked him as he charged for His. The impact of his body was rougher than she'd expected and she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder joint, possibly a dislocation. ~Oh No you don't. You can have her when Mine is done with her ~
Bade struggled with the younger rider, intent on keeping her hands around the girls neck until she stopped moving. If she finished her off quickly then maybe her blue wouldn't be able to harm Opth anymore. Through their connection she could tell her dragon had been injured far beyond what they'd both expected.

Mazamath, Attacking Opth
The body-check nearly sent him tumbling, but he planted his feet to stop himself, skidding furrows into the earth. The calm blue of moments before was gone, and he slammed into her, scrabbling. He would climb over her if he had to, anything to get to His.
Adi struggled desperately, her hands grasping at the other rider's arms, but she wasn't strong enough to pull them away. Her vision blurred, then went black, and as her dragon screamed for her, the young bluerider collapsed.
She slammed into him again, his attempts to climb over her were laughable. She raised her wings to block even his view over her. ~ Mine! don't kill her just yet! I want to take him. ~ It wouldn't feel like a victory if her enemy was just taken from her at the last moments.
Bade knelt beside the girl as she collapsed, intent on squeezing until her blue blinked between. Opth's plea halted the pressure of her hands though. She wanted to finish him herself then? Bade watched the dragons slam into eachother, her beloved crimson taking the hit beautifully. ~ I will let you have him then my love ~ She released Adi and stood over her. If she so much as twitched Bade would finish her off.

Mazamath, Attacking Opth
Mazamath screamed again when he felt no answer from His. He had to get to her, he had to save her! How could this crimson and her rider be so cruel? They had all but won, but it wasn't enough for them. Still screaming, he tried to slash his opponent's wings.
His attack on her wings was sadly un-expected. She'd been prepared for another body slam or some attempt to go around rather than through her. She screeched and danced away, just barely saving her mainsail from the swipe.

Mazamath, Taking Adi and Retreating
Although she was quick enough to avoid his claws, the blue still accomplished what he wanted: her out of his way, and an opening to reach his rider. He dashed passed his enemy to scoop up Adi's still form, and with one last angry hiss at the crimson and her rider, leapt into the air and blinked between.
While he might have been able to defeat the other dragon had he stayed, the safety of His was far more important than victory, at least to him.
