Ishsk (Ground), Attacking Adamanth
Whoa! Ishsk was nearly thrown aside by the movements of the battling dragons, and scurried to get out of the way to avoid being stepped on. Eyeing them both warily, he darted back in to try again.

Firith appreciated the acknowledgement, although not the particular term of endearment the crimson chose. The praise tempered what would have been annoyance into a more level response. Thank you, but I am no one's darling.

Adamanth, Attacking Ateth
This would go better if his attacks would connect. Adamanth was frustrated that Ateth managed to avoid two attacks in a row. That was something he had to rectify.
Distantly, Admanth felt a stirring in his mind and even as he lashed out ineffectively again at Ateth, receiving his own wounds in return, he tried to make contact with his hitherto unconscious rider.
O'thor?
There was no answer, but Adamanth had hope now. O'thor was waking. He couldn't linger here much longer. He moved away from the wher's attack, saving himself more pain.

Ha! This upstart weyrling was truly no match for him, and it pleased Ateth that he seemed to be tiring. Moving to avoid the other's claws, he tried to bite at his opponent. He would send him running, just like the little white!

It was hard to hit dragons when they were fighting each other! They moved so much, and he didn't want to be crushed, or to bite the wrong one. Hissing, he made another attempt to hit the smaller of the pair, but had to scuttle out of the way before he had a chance to bite.

Adamanth, Attacking Ateth
Adamanth didn't let out a sound as Ateth struck him again, and ignored the wher, whatever had happened to that thing. His focus was elsewhere now and the fight he was in was secondary, though it was Right to bring down those who would harm their brothers in arms just for the chance at advancement.
Adamanth?
Adamanth felt a surge of relief, and green briefly entered his eyes. He was awake, good. I am here. I am coming. Can you return to an exit from the weyr? A barracks? Are you well enough to move?
I think... there are others injured. I'll try to make it and bring someone with me.
Do so. We must not let our allies fall into the enemy's hands. I will meet you and we will go with Moriath and Hers.
Revitalized by knowing his rider was well, Adamanth lashed out, his claws striking flesh this time. That would be his last attack. He had to go meet O'thor. He could not linger here any longer.

Ateth bellowed as claws struck him again. The pain was only half of what bothered him, however, and the rest was knowledge that some of these wounds would scar. That was horrifying, infuriating even. He lashed out once more, intent on at least making sure that his enemy would carry scars as well.

Ishsk was growing more and more frustrated by his continued failed attempts to hurt the dragon, and snarled unhappily to himself. The wher shook himself off and threw himself at the silver for one last try.

Adamanth, Defending from Ateth - Leaving
Adamanth managed to avoid the majority of Ateth's strike. His wounds might not scar, but they still stung and Adamanth would certainly bear some marks on his hide from the encounter from Ateth's earlier attacks. However, Adamanth had more important things to be doing.
Pray I do not see you again, Adamanth threatened as he quickly danced back a few steps, successfully avoiding the wher's attack. With a thrust of his legs and a push of his wings he was airborne, quickly winging away from the other Silver. And consider yourself lucky you had help and luck on your side.
Barely clear from the other Silver's wings, Adamanth popped between to Moriath to await his rider and whatever injured allies needed aid getting away from Malvren.

There went their last ally.
Revenge was not worth his life, and it certainly wasn't worth his rider's.
Giving a bellow of rage the brow gathered the last of his strength and barged past the treacherous dragons. Scooping his fallen rider up in one forepaw he launched himself into the air and, after a few strong beats of his wings, he vanished between to safety.
