Laughing while attempting to sneak attack was not the wisest of moves. Millie had a second to react to the oncoming Thunderpunch and she responded by ducking. The electric attack sailed over her head and she crawled off to the side. Even though her ice moves kept on missing, it looked like the Gengar was getting overconfident and her attacks kept on missing too. She fired off yet another Ice beam, determined to actually freeze this time.

Dreydonna danced before the beam a bit too long; just as she was beginning to phase out, she suddenly found her limbs frozen. She hung in space, apparently paralyzed, though she worked fiercely to break free.
"Hang on, 'Donna!" Zinnia called down. "You'll be out soon!"

Lizzie knew that the ice wasn't thick enough to hold the Gengar for long. So she decided to have Millie lay more ice on the opponent while she was still frozen and immobile.
"Ice Beam." She said, hoping that they will get a good attack in sometime.

Dreydonna vanished yet again, dodging the ice beam just as she broke free. Her ghostly cackle came from all directions.
"Thunderpunch, quickly!" Zinnia shouted, glad to have some authority again.
Dreydonna flashed back into visibility and swung an electrified fist at the milotic again.

The Milotic sensed the electric energy behind her and ducked. She slid away from the Gengar and turned to face her. She didn't need to be told what her next attack was and fired off an Ice Beam once more.

Dreydonna dodged the ice beam. She dove in for another attack on the large, fishy pokemon, with her fist clenched and crackling with electricity.
