Kane looked at her questioning. Sighing he slowly put his rifle back together. "Either you lost it or you're lying. And lying is more likely." He said looking at her.

Steve and the Caneus cub were still walking around the camp because Steve was looking to see if he could find something to entertained the cub so he didn't n** at him for on the only fingers he had to used, while walking he somehow found himself near those two he met earlier today who seem to be having some conversation which he didn't want to bother them but the cub had different ideas. Running over to them he started rubbing his head on Kane's legs while staring at him looking at his fingers being he wanted to n** them like he was trying to do to Steve, sighing Steve walk over to them and try to pick up the Caneus without losing one of his fingers in the process.

Kane blinked at the Caneus cub. "That you're lying." He told the woman before trying to shoe the Caneus away with his foot. The way it was looking at his fingers encouraged him to keep his fingers away from it.

Steve slowly move forward to grabbed the Caneus cub from that man leg, not wanted to bug them longer then he had to but the little guys wasn't really ready to leave yet. When he felt Steve hand go around him the cub quickly jump out of his hand and try to slash at them while Steve pull them back before that could happen, that when the cub ran over to her doing the same thing to her leg and looking at her fingers like he did the other. Sighing some Steve spoke "Sorry," while again trying to pet up the Caneus cub to move him out of the way.

While Steve notice that she pick up the Caneus cub, he smile some because the Caneus cub seem to enjoy the attention she was giving him by purring and not nipping at her fingers. Steve wonder something as he approached her the Caneus cub notice this and when Steve touch it on the head it seem to enjoy that as well because it was moving it head toward his fingers when he petted it, Steve started wondering what to name him but he wonder something. Would you two like to help gave this little guys a name," while waiting for them to see if they would Steve continue to pet the Caneus cub which made him purred louder.

Kalika smiled. "I have no suggestions," she said. "These little guys are fierce but harmless." Her smile showed pointed teeth.

Kane shrugged and said, "None." He frowned as he looked at the woman, her teeth looked pointed. Watching her a little more closely now to see if there were any other odd signs.

While Steve was no showing any sighed that he was bother by her pointed teeth smile, he was sadden to hear that neither person could came up with a name for the Caneus cub but he seem to really enjoy being petted and held so Steve couldn't but smile due to that. As Steve ponder on what to called his new found pet but he felt he needed to say something, "Miss you have a nice smile which I hope to be able to see more often because I doubt that caneus will not what to play with you." Steve continue to ponder what name to gave the caneus cub.

Kali shrugged off the compliment. She didn't care much for them. Her race had no need for compliments. 'Just another way they differ from us,' she though. She didn't like humans and her lips curled in a snarl just thinking about how different they were.

"Just don't cause any trouble." Kane said yawning as he began to dissemble his pistol so he could clean it. Cleaning his weapons was a constant for him, whenever he used them he always took some time to maintain them. He still didn't see why people came to him with problems and concerns.
