But as I mentioned, the main thing is the fact that they didn't PM me or something first. I understand that it was alot of people, but whoever tipped them off more or less grouped the guild as a whole therefore it was just the guild and I easily could have posted something here like I did to give everybody a notice. And the other thing is the fact that even though they were tipped off, we immediately got punished for something that most of us didn't know. For crying out loud, they could ban the brain links if anything, but ALL referal links? v-v; I never saw what was so bad about the brain links anyway. If they bother you, ignore them. Anyway: borobdin Yes, you can link the site in general and then ask that people to write you in as the referrer.

unknown__user Wait.. is it that we cant use a url that autoreffers your username on that site if they sign up, or that we cant tell ppl to reffer us at all? b/c i just have a link to whuddle worlds main page and the graphic says to refer me haha EDIT:// and yeah my sig is still working soo..*blinks* So howcome urs never got turned off with the rest of everybodys?

Oh, man, I was so upset when that happened to me. I read the rules very carefully and never read anything about it. I told that to the mod who deactivated my sig and PMed me and she/he said that that's common and I only had to pay 10g to reactivate it. There's a rant about it in my journal. xp

Heh, do you think there'd be a problem with adding the banner to the site with the text "Tell 'em [username] sent you!" under it? Technically that's still referring, and accomplishes the same purpose, though I'm hesitant to advertise much at all now. sad
