This is the history of this world.
Many Millenia ago the Gods created Tunsora, as a place for peace and tranquility for all beings, including themselves. The world in it's early stages was just that, a serene world where strife held no bonds. They became to create more and more beings to enjoy this world. This was thier first mistake. Soon different species began to quarrel, bitter of the natural order. The Gods told them to desist but none listened. Not wanting to destroy their beautiful creation, the Gods decided to leave and watch from afar. However one, the Goddess of Balance, stayed and sacrificed most of her power as a goddess to create 8 stones, the sage stones, as they were called. She created them to give power to those one only wished an end to the conflict. The conflict did indeed end, but how? Only the spirit of Balance knows
Many years later, dating back to a century before now, the many species began to form nations, at first specific to thier own species, but then meshing as thier cultures thrived. However... the King of the Demons had a different plan. He wished to unite the world under one ruler, and make one large commonwealth. While his plan was well founded, his methods were not. He stole the sage stones from thier resting places and started a massive war for power, taking over most of the world. The Spirit of Balance came yet again to end a great conflict. She robbed him of the stones and cast his Nation into the void, never to be heard from again. She then placed guardians to protect the sage stones from further abuse.
Peace has held since then. In time history became legend, and the true story was lost. but even now, there are those who wish for history to repeat yet again.
