Do I look okay?Featherheart is actually quite gorgeous, though she has never been one to think that about herself. This she-cat is a soft ginger gal with pale blue eyes. Pretty. She has a few splotches of white fur here and there as well as a mark that looks like an "M" sitting right on her forehead. Featherheart is a cat with a long and slender body, and a long tail.
As for battle scars, she doesn't have that many of them. Does that mean she just sits there and watched her clan fight? No, of course not! She has a few unnoticeable scratches here and there. But she has two rather odd scars. One on her tail, and one on her leg; both of which are from the big battle at the gathering.What am I like?Featherheart is a really sweet cat. She is normally the cat in the back of the crowd who nods and goes with what others are saying. She is usually soft and quite quiet. This beautiful ginger warrior, despite what you may think at first glance, is normally not to sure of herself. Although, despite her soft looking appearance and build, she is capable of being tough. Just ask Tempest, oh wait, you can't because he's dead [heh]. Featherheart is protective of those she cares about and is quite loyal to her clan and to her friends.You actually want to know?Featherheart led a normal kithood and a normal apprenticeship. Or, well as normal as you could get in Stormclan. Though, something that set her apart from every accepting, eager-jumping kit; apart from every hard-working, "I wanna be a warrior" apprentice. Was this: All of her life, every day, for moons and moons and moons, Featherheart kept thinking to herself that she was not pretty, not beautiful and simply, not worth it. I guess you could say that she had self-worth issues. Now, looking at her you would never think that because she is a gorgeous cat. But in reality, she was constantly comparing herself to cats like Skywhisker. Could you blame her? Skywhisker was beautiful with her long legs and her mismatched eyes, her bubbly purr when she was happy, her talent for hunting. Why wouldn't Featherheart compare herself to that?
As a kit she had always thought no one wanted to play with her because she wasn't pretty enough [weird? A little, but remember she was a kit]. As an apprentice she hid herself in her duties as best as she could. In fact, she even went as far as to think that she would not become a warrior because she wasn't beautiful. However, much to her surprise she did make it. She was made a warrior. Featherheart, warrior of Stormclan. And still she didn't think she was beautiful. This ginger colored warrior kept to herself a lot and as a result she never exercised the "let's make a friend" part of a cat and now she has trouble making friends. Her only friends in the present are as follows: Skywhisker, Burrpelt, Dawnsky, Rustdawn although he's like a brother to her, and a few others whom she is not terribly close with.
Featherheart has always been afraid of falling for a cat. If she had a crush, she hid it very well. Not one cat would know. She was and is afraid of falling in love with someone. Simply because she does not want someone to meow her worst fear, that she is in fact no a pretty she-cat. Though despite this, she is a remarkable warrior who adores kits. She is terribly protective of the little tykes, even if they are not her own.
For the longest time Featherheart kept to herself. Not making friends, not really talking unless she had to. Just, secluding herself as much as possible. Then one day, Skywhisker reached out to her and invited her to join a conversation she was having with Brightspirit. That was when Featherheart's wall around her heart began to slowly weaken. The beautiful white warrior found her way into Featherheart's heart and the two became close friends. Then, a few moons later when she met Burrpelt, she thought she was falling for him and that frightened her. And since she figured he wouldn't like her because she wasn't beautiful, she introduced him to Skywhisker and the two hit it off right away. In fact, Skywhisker gives Featherheart credit as their "match-maker". So now once again lonely, she kept to her secluded self once more. Then, one day, the "best day" she can recall is the day she met Burrpelt's brother Oaktail, and she started falling for him, hard but she decided to just be his friend because falling in love scared the fur off her. The two, Featherheart and Oaktail became really close. He told her things that he's told no one and vice versa. She was honest with him. Well, to an extent anyways. She never told him how she felt and she regrets that so much. Then that awful, fateful night at the gathering where the beasts attacked. Her beloved Oaktail died by the claws of a badger-like beast [Tempest]. Featherheart avenged his death by dealing the death blow to the beast. Though that didn't fill the growing hole in her heart. She was absolutely devastated and began to, once again keep to herself. Maybe, just maybe... Oaktail, now in Starclan would maybe lead the right tom in her direction. If she's lucky. Starclan knows she deserves it.
Now in the present day she is doing substantially better. Featherheart doesn't look down on herself as much anymore. I mean, she still does sometimes but then you know the saying "old habits are hard to break". Right now, she tells everyone [who asks] that she isn't interested in getting a mate but in reality she says that because every single time someone asks her about mates, she thinks of Oaktail.
When Skywhisker found out she was with kits, she asked Featherheart if she would be their aunt. At first the ginger warrior said no, but Skywhisker insisted and absolutely refused to take no for an answer. So now, she is the adopted-aunt of Skywhisker's three kits.
After some waiting; Featherheart was given her first apprentice to mentor. She is a mentor to the energetic Dustpaw; she's a bit hesitant as it's her first apprentice, but she's trying to train him to be a warrior Stormclan would be proud of.My relationships? O-okay......⇨ Best friend is Skywhisker DDDDDDDDD
