Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator "I won't hold it against you," he replied with a soft smile, before turning his head and trying to remove the blush before proceeding.
When he felt that he was normal enough to begin, he turned back to her and moved up close. Gently, and careful about avoiding any unnecessary touches, he wrapped the tape around her body in various places, as a tailor would do. In his mind, he mentally jogged the measurements he found down as he moved to the next measurement.

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna had to close her eyes when he began to take her measurements, hardly breathing. She couldn't even tell if she actually was breathing or not. She tried to zone out and focus on the notes for the song, her hands moving as if she were playing the different strings of the violin.
When he had finished taking her measurements, she took a step away and opened her eyes, feeling herself shaking. She took a deep breath before walking to the bathroom and changing back immediately, not saying anything to him in hopes of not making things any more awkward between them. She walked back into the room when she had finished changing and sat down on the bed, still shaking a little. Her mind was holding back from destroying anything. Whenever she was plunged into something she wasn't used to, destroying something always seemed to calm her down, but she wouldn't do anything of the sort while she was here. Swallowing a little in embarrassment, she said, "How shall I pay you back for this?"╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator When the measurements were done, Kyle had set the tape aside and began thinking about potential ideas as Adrianna had gone back to change. There were many possibilities to choose from, such as style, effect, feel of the fabric, etc. Ultimately, though, it would be her choice in the matter...
When she returned and asked how she could repay him, he sat down beside her as he said, "Not sure, didn't think that far ahead. At the least, we could say that you owe me a favor later on..." Looking at her, he could see her body shaking... Wrapping an arm around her shoulder while his other hand moved to rest upon hers, he then said, "It's alright, Anna... We're almost done with this."

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna looked up at him as he sat beside her and she simply shrugged when he said that she could simply owe him a favor later on. Were I to start counting up these favors... I can only imagine that I would owe you more than you could ever imagine, boy. She thought to herself. Just then, he wrapped his arm around her and rested his hand upon hers. Her cheeks turned a light pink and she couldn't help but feel slightly calmer. The next thing she knew, she rested her head on his shoulder without thinking about it, "Thank goodness...."╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator It was sudden and unexpected. Again, Kyle had expected Adrianna to act in a way that he suspected she should. Instead, she acted in a particularly different way, one he wasn't expecting from her. Still... the fact that she seemed so calm near him at this time... For a long moment, he sat there with his cheek upon her head in silence, unsure of what to say or do here. Eventually, though, he knew he needed to break the silence...
Well, heh... We should probably work on that dress, then."

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna quickly lifted her head up once he had snapped her out of her own thoughts. She hadn't realized that she'd done so and quickly said, "Yeah, that would probably be the best thing to do at this point." She was then lost in her own thoughts for a long moment. She hadn't expected herself to react the way that she had and then began to wonder what on earth was really going on. Am I becoming weak? Is he planting ideas in my head as well? No. I don't think he'd do that, not to mention that I'd most likely know if he did or not.
Brushing some of her hair away from her face nervously, she suddenly thought, Destruction can be quelled, just as creation can be stalled. Perhaps that is all that happened? Could that be why I calmed down so easily?╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator Nodding to her, Kyle began to think more about the ideas for her outfit. And then, one idea came to mind.
"There are many things that I'll have to consider while making this dress, but ultimately it'll be you who decides what is and what isn't. So, here's my first question: What do you think of this pattern?"
Handing her a fabric piece, Kyle waited patiently for her answer. The design on the fabric had two particular colors, red and black. The red, however, had various shades of it, like the flickering of a flame. That, in itself, was the pattern he had presented to her. Swirling flames covered the edges of the fabric, with the rest being nothing but black and void. He made it specifically due to her Destroya self. In a way, he felt that there was a chance that, by wearing this type of pattern or something similar, she would feel... more herself in it.

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna looked at the pattern and found it quite to her taste. She nodded and pulled her knees up to her chest, wanting to watch him put the dress together. He'd shown her how he defended himself the other evening when she'd met him as Destroya, but she wanted to see if he put other things together in the same fashion or if he felt differently towards it. Resting her chin on her knees, she said, "It's wonderful. Better than pink, that's for sure. Had you suggested pink..." She didn't finish, but she was smiling a little. She reached out and ran her hand along the fabric, finding that it felt just as nice on her skin as it appeared to her eyes.╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator The first thing Kyle did after Adrianna expressed her interest in the design was to create a body mannequin in front of them. From there, he began to ask her questions about what the dress should or shouldn't have. It was something she was going to have to wear for the night, and he wanted to make sure it was something to her liking instead of something she would wish to tear off once it was over. Depending on the way she answered, the dress began to form quickly, yet at the same time slowly, in front of them, the fabric having left their hands and moved to the dress.

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna helped to explain how to build the dress and when it was done, she was rather impressed with the final product of the fabric that she'd held no more than five minutes before. It was a modest dress, and though she had, inwardly, wanted to cover her arms, she knew that having a strapless dress would allow her to move her arms more freely. She smiled a little and nodded, "It's better than I'd originally imagined, to be quite frank. I'm not much for dresses, but this is one that I'll be proud to wear more than once."
She stood up and walked to the dress and then her eye caught sight of the time on his alarm clock and made her flinch visibly. Destroying the mannequin and catching the dress before it fell, she reached over to him and grabbed his hand, giving it an affectionate squeeze, "I've got to go and I apologize for coming and going, but I really need to go." She turned and walked to the door before looking over her shoulder, "I'll see you there?" She had grabbed her violin case while she had walked to the door, and knew that his mother would most likely find it odd that she'd come with only the violin case and would be leaving with a dress as well.╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator Upon hearing her words of approval, Kyle smiled before he replied, "I'm glad you think so. It'll look brilliant on you, I'm sure of it." When she began to speak about having to go, he nodded to her as he moved over to the door, opening it. "You can count on it," he said as he moved out after she did.
Immediately going downstairs ahead of her, he found his mother and 'distracted' her while Adrianna made her way outside. That way, there wouldn't be confusion about the extra outfit she was holding onto.

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna was glad to hear that he would still come to the second round of the tournament and then made her way down the stairs silently as a ghost while he distracted his mother. She made her way out of the house and made a mad dash to her home. When she got there, she ran to her room and pull the dress on, finding that it fit perfect to her own form before she stepped out of her room to find her mother standing there. Her father was standing directly behind her mother and when her mother pinned a rose to her dress, her mother shooed her father away before pinning Adrianna to a chair and fixing her hair.
"I know that it's not much, but at least it will look like you actually prepared yourself... and where did you get this lovely dress? It fits your personality perfectly."
"I... uh... got it from a friend." She hated lying to her mother and technically it wasn't a lie. She stood up and her mother and father gave her a ride to the school auditorium. Walking to the backstage area with her violin in tow, she wondered if she'd be able to see Kyle before she began to perform, but found it highly unlikely. Many of the other students that had managed to make it were wishing everyone else, including Adrianna, to 'break a leg'. She couldn't help but feel as if she should get out of her shell more often, but pushed the thought from her mind. She didn't fit in with them unless it came to musical talent.╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator During this time, Kyle had finished his conversation with his mother and returned to his room. There, he got himself cleaned up and dressed up nicely in a suit. Did he really to? He didn't know, but it was better safe than sorry. Once he was dressed, he headed downstairs and made his way to the door."And where are you going all dressed up?" came his mother's voice from behind.Looking back to her with a soft smile, he replied, "My friend is currently at the music competition and I promised I would be there. I'll be home before you it, mom."With a soft smile, she nodded as she stated, "I see. Have fun then, dear. And with that, she watched as her son left home...

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna looked at the list that had been posted and saw that she was the fifth of seven contestants, which surprised her. There had originally been ten contestants from their school, but three had already pulled out. Perhaps something came up or they chickened out? She then looked at the other papers that she hadn't bothered to read earlier. She would have to go to the state competition and then if she won there, nationals. She couldn't help but find this rather daunted herself, but she pushed the feelings aside. She would win this tournament and become the musician that her grandmother had wanted her to be. And who would suspect a good musician to be the most terrifying destroyer?
Several people came and went throughout the show and sooner than she had imagined, it was her turn to go up and perform in front of a huge audience from what she'd happened to catch sight of before the show started. Taking out her violin and and tuned it quietly, she took her place out on the stage and nearly flinched when the lights centered on her as they had the other contestants. Her dress seemed to blaze like flames and she knew that it had helped her stand out at least a little in comparison to the other talented musicians. When it came to talent, it seemed like it would be a very hard choice whom would win, especially since there were different instruments with different effects.
Closing her eyes for a moment and taking a steadying breath, she lifted the violin up and onto her shoulder and rested her chin on the chin pad before she waited for the judges to give her a nod. She smiled a little before closing her eyes yet again and began to play the first several chords to the terrifyingly hard piece, they were slow and simple, but soon she plunged her listeners into a melody filled with what would seem like hundreds of thousands of different notes and rhythms. That was The Song of Destruction for you, anyways. Several minutes later, she had finished and slowed to a stop and looked up to the judges, ignoring the applause, for she wanted to see whether they were impressed, but their faces showed nothing. Was it not enough?
Bowing, she made her way off the stage and waited for the competition to end. One other musician, though, caught her interest. The younger sister of the boy that had destroyed her instrument. She couldn't help but chuckle a little to herself when she heard the simple melody. And he went through all of that trouble to safely land his sister this far in the game?╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator It took him a while to get there, but eventually he arrived at the competition hall. There, he entered the place and found himself a seat just as the second contestant had finished up their song. Listening to the announcer as the third contestant was called out, Kyle truly hoped right then that he didn't miss Adrianna's performance. As the fifth's turn came up, though, he sank in his seat with a sigh of relief as she appeared on the stage. If he had any notion to create an edge for her for a better stage presence, he realized that he didn't need to. She was all that the stage needed... There was something about her playing that melody on stage that sprang emotions from him. Maybe it was because she was simply able to bring the music to life, creating the sound so well...
When her performance was over, and the clapping session that he had joined in with, he wanted to truly go backstage and meet with her. Of course, he was aware that they wouldn't let just anyone back there, and so he sat in silence for the remaining two performances and waited...
