SYNOPSIS
Infiltration Arc:
Over the course of many many years, the Gotei 13 has managed to maintain a sense of peace and order after much trouble and strife. More than a couple of conflicts have taken place, more than one Hollow Leader risen to combat them. More than one war. However, over the past ten years, the Gotei 13 has managed to avoid major conflicts and war and it has almost seemed that they were entering a new era of of peace, unheard of after so much and so many fights and conflicts. After centuries in which there have been devastating wars and conflict, things seemed to finally return back to normal. However, not everyone was so welcoming of this new peace, as some worried that this prolonged peace was a sign that something big was heading towards the Gotei 13, and the recent attack has some on edge. The realm of the Espada, Hueco Mundo, has since remained quiet, and aside from the recent happening they haven’t had any sightings of Arrancar in the past five years or so. This alarmed Commander Matsubara, as he decided that it would be best to send out a team to investigate the realm of the Hollows, in search of the ‘truth’ and to set aside any rumors of imminent war.
