The idea here is to make known, if you wish, what anime (or anime related) conventions you'll be attending. If multiple of our guild members are headed to the same place, perhaps a meet-up could be arranged. This will likely be of most benefit to those on the U.S. coasts, but anyone is welcome to post about their regional conventions.
I might start a list here of conventions any of our members have attended in the past...
No Brand Con (NBC)
Geek Kon
Daisho Con
Sakura Con
Anime Boston
Another Anime Con (AAC)

*pats Ace on the back* Hey no worries Ace I am still a convention virgin. Maybe some day when we both have life a bit more settled you can help me out with that. Is it funny that two guild captains are on opposite coasts? Ace of Death None. crying The last con I went to was for the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. *headdesk* I need a life.

Thanks. *sniffs* Really? Man, that's...really something we should fix. Maybe Dragoncon or something. I've not been to that one yet. Think of it as covering both ends of the country. Makes going to cons together tough, though. Once I did meet at a con a person I'd met online. It was cool. Our first words to each other were, "Wow, you are short!" Naw, forget Dragoncon; you two need to meet in the middle here in WI and I'll take you to my home convention. It'll be a guild captains meet up. Either of you willing to cosplay? wink
Seriously though, if you both want to meet up here someday, I'd enjoy it. I've only got the couch and a little floor space, but I'm willing to let you both crash at my place.
Heck, here in WI you could meet Angel, too, and a number of folk from the GCC.

Speaking of online impressions Aeronn cracked me up a while ago. He mentioned that I seemed intimidating. He imagined I seemed like a mobster. Such things really drive me to want meet my gaia connections.
How excellent would that be!
A fantastic proposal Sir_Catherine.
I wouldn't mind cosplaying. When in Rome right?
I am far bellow Novice level when it comes to such things.
Perhaps with a lot of help I could get be capable.

It's been years since I was home. I wouldn't mind a visit. Hopefully I'll get a chance to take you up on that offer when my life settles down a bit. Which con is closest to you, Sir Catherine?

I'm nearly equidistant from Eau Claire and Madison, which each have cons, but Eau Claire is a much easier drive, more straightforward, and I know the area far better. That's where No Brand Con is and I consider that my 'home' con.
I'll add yours to the list, Bloodkissed_Dreams. What does AAC stand for?

AAC stands for a con called Another Anime Convention, it is typically held every october in either Nashua New Hampshire or Manchester New Hampshire.
