Asmusei STFU and Color Asmusei STFU and Color Sure, why not have a WWII era Imperial Guard army? I mean the Imperium is full of planets with varying levels of technology being pressed into service. I'm fairly certain that the only advances they actually have are biological augmetics, power cells, and plasma-based weaponry. Hell, in the realm of vehicle design, our current tanks are way better than the Imperium will ever get to be. Tanks. You're welcome. I fail to see the point in correcting me on one little character. This is Gaia, after all. ._. I wasn't correcting you. I was joking about how tanks are awesome. :3 Sorry for the misunderstanding.

The Abrams tank that we use nowadays has a few interesting stories behind it, such as one of them being stuck from a sand dune being too loose, but five enemy tanks where approaching. It took out three of them by firing rounds through the dunes themselves. 40K has nothing on our tanks.

And the Leopard 2 trumps all on all aspects. Now back on topic.. Budding converters and people in need of great bits might want to check out Zinge Industries!

Sean King I am curious if you think it is alright to use Third Party miniatures and bits to flesh out your army, or does everything have to be 100% GW made? For me, the only things I really use non-GW parts for is terrain, though I can see the application of some components onto vehicles. I don't like the idea of using whole kits, though, unless they're deliberately designed to be 40K, such as Forgeworld or those Puppet Wars minis that were posted.
