I recently got back into reading manga from a long absence of doing so, and I gotta say I didn't like the ending to this.

Not to be negative, but... I don't even think there was a moral to this story. The character development was really good, and it was all there.... up until the end. :l I thought the character development would go on for at least another 300 chapters.... emotion_awesome DIN'T!

Wish a magical infant would shoot me in the face and inspire me to do things I wouldn't so I could get ahead in life. xd There's no realization... no growth.... the adventure was awesome, don't get me wrong but... he learned absolutely nothing and is still in the position he was when he began. :8c

I lost a lot of respect for KHR because of it's terribad ending. Maybe it will get a sequel or something to redeem itself later down the road.

The entire Rainbow deal arc focuses on Tsuna becoming a certified badass gangster that can function without Reborn (and he pretty much admits that digs the lifestyle too iirc), and then bitches out of the deal and reverts back into his useless beta self from chapter 1? What a slap in the face to every reader ever. It's also inconsistent with the coffin from the Future arc that's got a big ol' shiny X on it. I know alt. timelines were mentioned, but I'm pretty sure that took place further down the timeline the manga follows.
Or maybe the V2 Primo bs was just a clever ruse from Reborn to lure Tsuna back into seriously considering the Decimo title.

I know! I didn't even expect it to end.

It was just like HEY... ! DONE. emotion_awesome

I agree with everything you said.

The whole Checkerface being the guy I-pin has been delivering to was awesome but... other than that it was... Just terrible. There were a ton of plot holes with Fran. Tsuna didn't go anywheres and his development was going so well. The hell rings were a mystery. Mukuro apparently settled down. Chrome has illusory organs forever. I could ramble for days about numerous unclear things including the bermuda von gentle-man-alien-boy's awkward way of saving the world and how nobody gives a damn.

Btw for being a genius Verde's the most useless person ever. It was like a cool mafia manga. I wanted to legit see them all in suits and be badass hitmen with super powers. This never happened and it made my heart sad. emotion_8c I was debating on buying the series. The ending was the deal breaker.

Best parts of the whole thing: Hibari and his senseless hatred for humanity, and love for birds. Squalo's weird a** accent that seemed completely random and unnecessary, and Fran for being a smartass. Also Yamato's a samurai. Words can't express my love for samurai in any form.

Makes me think Akira Amano was just like *waves hand* "******** iiiiit" emotion_awesome and wanted to do other things.

Considering KHR! ended right as Psycho-Pass started airing, I wouldn't be surprised if Amano ditched KHR after getting a huge cash-in on the Urobutcher wagon.

I can only think of one time Verde didn't suck, and that was his machine of wasted potential that made illusions real... and it was promptly forgotten about.

Never got to see Yamato figure out he was a legit mobster... never found out the source of Hibari's Hibari-ness (there was speculation that his pops was in law enforcement).... D:

Darnit Amanooooooo!

Oh yeah D: I forgot about that...

and I didn't even know Amano had gotten into other works.

It's probably more difficult to keep with your projects having done them for so long you kind of just want to move along. Unless you have the ability to amass TURBO PASSION! WRITING'S MOST POWERFUL APHRODISIAC!

Seen in BRILLIANCE such as Samurai X, Chrono Trigger, Persona, and countless other heart wrangling, time traveling, disturbingly AWESOME movies, and games spanning our entire universe and transcending space and time faster than a bangin' bro chuggin' down his seventy fifth brewski!
