Do you believe there is a superior sex? If so, which one?

This was brought up because my very dear friend, Flynn, as a general rule hates women.
And I use the term "dear" very loosely. He is dear to me, yes, but many would find the little brat to be quite a p***k.
He makes exceptions for a few, he doesn't normally judge against teenaged girls and younger, since their not fully grown yet.
But with all his heart, he believes that men are leagues more superior than women.
I don't support this belief, at all, and the fact that the topic rarely makes its way into our conversations helps a lot.
But he's too good a friend to loose over this, unfortunately.
But it really got me thinking.
He can't be the only one, can he?
Do you share his beliefs?
Is there a superior sex?
Do you know anyone who does? What do you think of them?

I don't think that there is a superior sex. Yes, we each have areas we excel in, and there are exceptions to every rule, but as humans, we are all flawed and incomplete.
I think that there are superior people to myself, though. Those that I choose to put on pedistals of importance, that are 'better' than me. That's my only comparable emotion.
I don't like your friend's ideas, but he's got a right to them. I personally wouldn't want to be friend with him if he thought he was superior to me. I'd like to see him try to prove it, though.

The family I was raised in considers males to be much more superior. They think in a very old fashioned manner. There are three women in my home, my mother, myself, and my sister. There are two males in the home my brother and father. My sister and I take care of the men of the house, feed them, and do all the work in the home and outside the home.
In the environment I live in, everyone also considers males to be superior.
However, I myself consider no specific gender to be superior. Different people may be superior over myself, and other people may be complete abominations. It's more about who the person is, rather than what is in their pants.

He has no real proof other than all the women in his life mistreating him, which is why he feels that way in the first place. He just hasn't gotten over what he's been through.
But past that, there is no reasoning as to why he thinks females are so unreasonable and unbearable.
And he acts rather childish about it too.
Getting all flustered and angry because you're proving him wrong x3

I never believed in gender superiority. Superiority comes from your own abilities. Nobody is better than another in everything. Humanity is to flawed to accept the fact. We can't see the big picture so we had racism and sexism. I'd go on a tangent and rant on how the world sucks but this isn't the place for it. Anyway, superiority is a nonexistent idea created by nobility(or cavemen) to think that someone is better than someone else.

Of course there is no superior gender. Men only have one sure edge, and that is the ability to gain more muscle mass and thus strength, so it can be said that in terms of might they are genetically superior, though this should grant no higher station in society. That idea is tantamount to holding all local elections being replaced with weight-lifting competitions.
I am a big fan of female submission, but never societal enforced female submission. This has everything to do with my tastes and nothing to do with my social beliefs and values. In other words, I happen to enjoy it when women are submissive, but hold no such backwards notion of it being their "place," and it sure as hell has no relation to morality.
By the way, your little pal is an a**-backwards twit. You should be ashamed to even know him.
