"Work" in what sense? Do you mean, work as in, does everyone see something?
I've only scryed by accident, so it's not something that comes easily to me. I'm not sure it's something everyone can do. At least not intentionally.

I cannot scry to save my life - trust me I've tried many times. Most times I end up just staring into this crystal I have for ages without seeing anything, and on occasion I'm begun to start lucid dreaming. Unproductive lucid dreaming...
