❧✖ Airia Ganymede ✖❦

She'd just finish selling off the last of her herbs to a medicinal shop. She stepped boredly out into the center of the town and sighed. What was she going to do now? She could go and get more herbs, but the chances of her finding anything so soon after picking them just a few days ago was slim. She didn't want to go back home, where her father would be gone, and the only thing to keep her entertained there would be a white cat named Ivory that would get fur all over her and in her nose.

She rubbed her nose at the thought of breathing in the floating cat fur, rubbed loose by petting. Airia fumbled over to the statues and stared, lost in thought. She was still so clueless as to what to do now. She surely wasn't going to go back home. If she just wondered around town aimlessly, bad things could happen. But, at the same time, she figured that bumping into a thief or getting pestered into playing with some children would be better than standing around here all day. She sighed and scratched her head, still at a loss with what to do.

((OOC: Anyone, feel free to reply to this, I'm still looking for someone to roleplay with))

Directions here seemed rather irrelevant as the young woman walked, her bare feet passing over the dirt road that lead to the city that stood before her. It would be quite a waste if she were to spend a rather extended period in the human realm and not visit this city after all. The shrines—though somewhat offensive since they seemed rather one sided in her opinion—were still rather glorious architectural artwork as well as the houses and buildings that seemed to have grown so magnificently and effortlessly from the ground up.

Of course the people that surrounded them were of an entirely different nature. Most seemed to be rather pompous and in her opinion, they seemed quite content to have their noses far too unnaturally high as they bent over backwards to not offend those around them. Such a dance of political and business canters that they battered back and forth, the fake laughter, the fake smiles, the fake friendships and relationships. All this absurdity seemed a waste of time and air.

“Odd…” she spoke aloud to herself, most demons had an attitude and spoke boldly to each other. Of course there were always exceptions and differences, but nothing like this would so easily slither into the demon realm since the obviousness of the actions were too plain. The art of deception was something these people practiced so effortlessly, but to an outsider, the lies were plain as day.

The crowded streets, the dirty looks, the constant pushing and shoving of the occupants as they moved throughout their busy and entirely pointless lives. The bell that hung about her neck jingled as she moved and tried to avoid being shoved about as she searched for the tiniest openings between each person to escape from the crowd entirely. Maybe she had picked a poor timing to enter this city, perhaps it was always like this. How could anyone stand it? It was making her a bit nervous, what anyone would easily detect was claustrophobia.

That was when she whacked her shoulder against someone moving in the opposite direction of her as they connected her short good will was lost as she gave a little snarl, turning about and giving the person—a young woman—a firm shove. “Get away from me,” she growled, her golden orbs for eyes narrowing as she stepped back. For the first time, the people about seemed to notice her presence as some proceeded to give her a bit more space.

❧✖ Airia Ganymede ✖❦

The girl looked around, confused and a little embarrassed to be standing around such a busy place with nothing to do.
Over a ways in one of the busier paths to the center there was a slight commotion in the crowd. Airia decided to take a look, having nothing better to do. She made her way in the direction of all the fuss, pushing her way through the crowd.
When Airia reached the center of all the commotion, she stood, at the edge of the circle, surrounding what appeared to be a strange human. She stared with wide eyes at the situation before her. What was going on?

The crowds were seeming to part as the person was forced forward, a younger woman whom it had appeared to have been the one who ultimately broke her patience. The girl fell forward, barely catching herself with her hands as they slid into the dirt. Comments immediately arose, those of harsh words and rude sheers as Cheza moved on, walking easily off as the woman rose, with the aid of a younger gentleman close by.

Those golden orbs which seemed to almost outshine the sun once the light glistened upon them as she turned her head ever so slightly. Her eyes looked towards a young woman, but she soon turned her attention away as she passed her by, not a second glance nor a word to leave her lips as she walked on. The crowd had enclosed around her and she dreaded their presence ever more. The claustrophobic spacing made her feel—and almost act—more animalistic as she sought freedom, space to breathe outside of the walls of bodies that were encroaching the space around her.

Of course people will be people. No one was intending her to pursue any further force or destruction against them. But they also did not seem to know when to back off from danger. The full concept of the thin line between idiocy and curiosity was easily crossed over.

“Get away from me,” she spoke, her eyes moving about the crowd, the staff firmly within the grasp of both of her hands as she looked about, holding it before her powerfully.

❧✖ Airia Ganymede ✖❦

Watching at the middle of the commotion, Airia attempted to make sense of what was happening and why but concluded that she was missing a few key details and decided it didn't really matter.
On the other side of the crowd a young lady was pushed out before the strange woman, who only walked away. The crowd seemed to follow the woman and Airia was pushed right along with it. She struggled to duck out and leave the scene but it was no use, these painfully curious people had formed an impenetrable wall that Airia could not worm her way out of.
Airia looked back at the woman, hearing her speak out in a slight tone of frustration. She held a weapon and seemed prepared to fight. Airia felt every muscle in her body tense up. 'Is she really going to go that far? Here? But these defenseless people are...' Airia stopped in the middle of her thoughts. These people were now mindlessly surrounding her it seemed. Sure, Airia didn't quite know the circumstances, but she understood when something was going too far, and this whole situation was just that.
She looked around, but even as the woman clutched a staff in her hands and seemed more than ready to go at it the people just stood and stared. Was no one going to get the idea and leave? Airia decided, probably a bit too calmly, that she had to do something. She walked out into the circle a couple steps without thinking and glanced at the strange woman before turning her eyes back to the people.
"Hey, everybody needs to leave, now. Really. There's nothing more to see, guys!" Airia thrust her hands out in a shooing motion and the crowd started to break apart a bit from the back and very slowly the people began to disperse and the circle withered away, back into a steady flow of people.

Although, normally, no one would label Cheza as someone who was claustrophobic, but the idea of so many so close, surrounding her caused panic to arrise in her mind. She needed her freedom, her space to move about. Her wings were so tightly pressed to her back that even if she had desired to, she would have had a difficult time taking flight.

A voice rose and the crowd's short-lived attention seemed to shift instaneously. Several grumbled, others shrugged in response as the only possible action had been long over with and most just turned and walked off on their own. A young man waited long enough to help the woman up who gave the young demon a rather sour look as she attempted to brush off the dirt from her clothing with her hands as she started off on her way.

The tension visible in Cheza's form was beginning to ease as the crowd dispersed. Whoever had spoken to do so was certainly deserving of her gratitude but she had no idea who the voice has arrisen from. Her hands lowered as she let the base of her staff rest gently upon the street's service as if to use it as a cane. Her hand curled over the smooth surface, her fingers relaxed as the color once again began to flood through her once whitened knuckles.

[More power to you - I don't mind either way
More importantly, I apologize for taking so long to respond to begin with. Ugh, what a disgrace v.v]

Yomi

Profile

"Ahhhhhhh why did i help the old couple pull their cart for two damn hours... i mean if they helped or i had been able to make them maybe i wouldn't be stuck like this." Yomi mumbled to himself cursing a couple of times in several different languages. although his attention was now caught be a crowd of people who seemned to be dispersing but this had already caught his attention, he scooted to a stand before jumping and swinging off of its sign, hooking a window ledge with his leg he projected himself onto a tent cover for a different store and bounced off of it almost flying over two other stalls before bouncing off another grabbing a clothes line causing it to snap and swung over to the cause of the trouble like an ape, although he was graceful about it until landing on the ground about half a couple of feet infront of Cheza, He had got a top look and its was between her, with a mildly tense and releived air about her, a drunk person (that would have been dissopinting if it caused the commotion.) Another cute girl who's expression gave off concern, either way yomi was butting in now, mainly just because he was actually out of the temple for the first time withut company and could look at and talk to people, however he found himself at a loss of words, he'd never actually spoken to a female when he considered it, maybe a couple of the elderly woman at the shrine or when being made to help people, however the best place he got to go was an ugly bar and those were not the place for younger girls or anyone who wanted to stay cleen....Yomi only went there to cheat at cards, also it was the closest society to his shrine, so he went with what he could.

However this girl was something different, tail, wings probably a little older than himself but he wasn't sure, if he didn't know better he'd have almost belive that most girls looked like that however he was not mental and he knew better. These things seemned to draw him to her like a magnet but in a different way than the common throng may see it. he saw her as new and marvelous, a unique thing that was there and he wanted to know what she was, who she was how others lived life different than a shut in Orphan Monk. He managed to get off a couple of words through gritted teeth that would sound out as "Were you the ******** one being bothered by these ******?" but it would sound strange, tense and the persons face would be a mask of self concern as he actually had no polite social skills and his sentence has consisted of an elven and a human swearword, although much like the rest of what he said they may just have blended in, yomi didn't know why he was so stiff and growled to himself "Stupid.....Karma...balance....crap" He was convinced that his good deed from earlier had hindered him now as punishment to being out of balance with his way, his out of whack spectrum must have been causing trouble.

Air seemed to somehow be finally reaching her nostrils once more as it began to fill her lungs. The space between the crowd and herself increasing until a drunken man clothed with the stench of alcohol reached her. Her grip on her staff tightened as her left hand slid along the slender staff, her fingers curling slowly, smoothly across, bracing herself to be forced to use the staff as a weapon—something she dreaded to do due to its fragile nature, both in design and in power. The slightest crack to the orb on top and the entire staff would become nothing more than an overly decorated walking stick.

Before she had time to fully pull up her staff, someone leaped before her. Within a flash, there was no one—to someone—right before her eyes. Basic instincts immediately came into action as her fluid motion she had already begun immediately gained speed. Her grip tightened upon the staff’s slender body as she drew it up immediately, the orb upon the top began to glow and swarm as the liquid blue color began to solidify, lightening as it began to form a crispy surface. It was as if Jack Frost himself was blowing right onto the orb as the crystals swirled and spiraled about, solidifying as they became one concrete form of ice around the staff’s tip, as if a mini-hammer. Of course this was all commencing simultaneously as she brought up the staff before her, aiming to knock whatever rested before her right under his chin.

Whether it would truly connect with intended victim was entirely irrelevant at this point. Her actions was irrevocable and they were going to continue through their course until whatever result would come to be. If he could get out of this, he would be extremely flexible and quick on his feet.

[Due to this information: “Last Login: 08/23/2013 2:11 pm” also his last post in here was "Posted: Sun Dec 16, 2012 9:35 pm" and finally the avi's lack of complete clothing, I assume he no longer uses Gaia]

The amount of force that left her staff as it connected with the man’s broad chest, throwing him back forcefully with enough momentum for him to slide a couple extra inches across the ground. His body was still, whether the blow simply knocked him unconscious or crushed his chest Cheza was unsure. She did not stand around enough to watch if his chest rose and fell as the body breathed or to even kneel to see if he had a pulse. He was of little concern to her now and her main concern was simply evasion.

Flight in the human world was draining and it had not been long since she had flown in. With her black wings folded tightly against her back—that option was out for the time being. As much as she wished she could make the easy take-off, she had to look for other options. People were everywhere and a few of them had begun to stop and stare; a few had begun to gather about the body, though their numbers were beginning to grow.

With their attention focused on the body—for now—she took the opportunity to slip outside of their attention as she worked to blend in—as well as any demon could. She lowered her staff so the simple creatures would believe she was non-threatening. She stepped back, slipping through the openings between bodies as she was able to get off the main street. Although where she was going she had no clue, but the quieter the place seemed to be, the healthier it began to feel to her. She sought after solitude and the farther she moved the further she could get from the body she left behind and hopefully the city she would soon leave behind as well.
