Vincent moved towards Aurora, his heart beating like a jackhammer inside his giant chest. The females scent was strong, and Vincent knew she was familiar.

His heart was racing, and the need to move faster, burn off the energy, was almost overwhelming to his changed brain. He was aware her mouth was moving, and that she was making sounds, but he wasn't concerned with what she was saying. Vincent huffed at the female, curious for a moment, but when she failed to move or react, he focused on the tree nearest her, and ripped it from the ground, roots and all.

The thirteen foot tree was thicker by far than the female's waist, and fit easily into his giant muzzle.Vincent growled around the tree, swung his head and tossed the tree in the female's direction, then took off running after her.

Ava sighed, glad that Argos was alright. She understood that he needed to protect his Alpha, but she wished he wouldn't go to such extremes. Wouldn't it be better to let the humans think he was weaker, rather than forcing them to up the ante each time? Each were had a limit - even Argos.

She knew Argos could handle so much more than the others, she just didn't want to see him suffer when he didn't need to. "I'm alright, Argos." Ava couldn't help but smile as he pulled her down on the floor next to him. "They didn't do anything to me. I just wish you didn't have to take them on like that. I know, I know." She said, holding up a hand to cut off the protest she was sure was coming. "You're Beta, it's your job to protect everyone, especially Aurora. I just don't want you to hurt yourself any more than you have to. I don't like to see you in pain."

Ava tucked her long blonde hair behind her ear. "It would be good for them to think they know your limit, but I'd rather they thought it was far lower than it is. Having them underestimate us will come in handy when we get out of here, but if you keep letting them push your buttons...." Ava bit her lip and trailed off, realizing she was lecturing him. She was concerned about him. Ava knew his strength was going to be integral to their escape, and she wanted him to be at his best for the good of the pack, and for a few of her own selfish reasons too. Smaller reasons. She tried to convince herself. And succeeded. Almost.

Aurora ducked when the tree was thrown her way, it skimmed just over the top of her head, if there was a branch, it would have caught her in the face. Luckily, it missed, if only just barely, and she saw Vincent running at her. "Oh ********> She immediately took off running, hopping over the fallen tree and sprinting away from Vincent as he chased her. He was in werewolf form, there was no way she could outrun him in her human form, she would have to change if she didn't want to get mauled. As she sprinted away from him as fast as she could, she unzipped her jumpsuit top and dropped it on the ground behind her; the pants would be a problem, as she would have to slow down to take them off. "Screw it, no time." She thought to herself and simply started the change to her werewolf form.

It was difficult enough to move at all while changing, but to be running full tilt away from another werewolf, was nearly impossible. Aurora felt her bones shifting under her and winced in pain, it always hurt to move during a change, but this was something else. She focused on her heartbeat, to distract herself from the pain. It worked well, in fact, by the time she was fully changed and running on all fours, she had barely noticed the change had finished. Despite having changed, Aurora didn't want to go toe to toe with Vincent just yet, so she continued running from him, this time at a pace where he wouldn't be able to catch up to her, but wouldn't fall behind.

Argos was about to protest when Ava silenced him. He listened quietly to her, smiling lightly. When she was finished, he chuckled, which turned into a laugh. Seeing her confused expression, Argos said, with a wide smile, "It's been a while since someone has lectured me. It's actually kind of refreshing. No one ever tries to tell me I did something wrong since they're worried I'll get angry with them." He chuckled quietly and grabbed Ava's hands with one of his, squeezing them lightly and saying, "I do see your reasoning though. So I guess I'll hold back, maybe make them think that I've calmed down a bit. Just a bit though. I'll just play dead a little earlier than normal." Still smiling, he leaned forward and kissed Ava, understanding that she didn't want anything bad to happen to him, for their escape, for the pack, and for her.

Vincent broke out into a wolfish grin, his tongue lolling out the side of his muzzle as the female took off, running towards the trees. He gave her a five second head start. He could sense the female changing, and some part of him recognized that he had to let her change in order to be able to burn more of his energy.

Vince raced after the female, keeping his distance until she was finished with her change. Once she had been in wolf form for a few strides, Vince picked up his pace and nipped at her hind flank, encouraging her to go faster.

The enclosure wasn't nearly big enough for two fully grown werewolves to run for long, and soon enough they had to veer back the way they came. He wondered how long she'd let him chase her before she decided to change things up a bit.

Ava wasn't sure whether he was laughing with her, or at her, until he explained with a squeeze of her hands. "Thank you." Ava grinned and returned his kiss, nipping his bottom lip. "Just make sure you're playing dead convincingly. I know you'll be fighting the urge to jump up and tear them to shreds. I'm not super convinced about your acting abilities."

Ava laughed and stuck out her tongue at him, just to see what Argos would do.

Aurora felt refreshed as she ran away from Vincent, even though he was nipping at her heels. Her long white hair flowed behind her, the wind rushing through it as she sprinted faster than a car would normally go on the highway. Moving faster until she was a little ways away from Vincent, Aurora had an idea. The large area wasn't quite big enough for two werewolves to run for very long without turning around, so Aurora stopped before rounding the turn, turning around and tackling Vincent. A runaway truck couldn't hit with as much force as a running werewolf, but a pouncing one could do a lot more damage. Aurora rolled with Vincent and wound up on top of him, pinning his arms and legs to the ground. It was dangerous to contain a werewolf like this, but Aurora tried to alleviate the tension by licking his face, showing him that she was friendly.

Argos chuckled at Ava's playful comment and was surprised at her sticking her tongue out at him. He smiled and replied by pinching her arm lightly and saying, "Well I may not be as good at acting as I am at cooking, but I'm not entirely useless otherwise. So long as they don't try to hurt you, I'll be fine at playing dead." He grinned and rolled over so she was on top of him. "So what are we going to do while we wait for Aurora to get back? We could explore the house a little more, maybe try to find a weak point that we can break out of. I don't think any of the vents are big enough for us." He then rolled over again so he was on top of her, "Or we could pass the time another way." He chuckled as he nipped at her neck gently.

Sure enough, it didn't take long for Aurora to get bored of letting Vince chase her. Just before the turn, she pulled an about face and tackled him. Vincent turned slightly to the side just before Aurora's body collided with his to soften the blow. Being hit by a werewolf would decimate most of the large trees in their make shift enclosure. There was a muted sound like two large boulders colliding as they hit, falling to the "forest" floor and rolling together.

Aurora came out on top and pinned Vincent's arms and legs. She licked his face to remind him she was only playing. He licked hers in return, and then quickly but gently took hold of one of her ears between his teeth and pulled, forcing her down so that he was now on top.

Vincent grinned his wolfish grin again, and seemed to be chuckling. He nuzzled her neck so she would know he was just playing too.

Ava's eyes narrowed in a mock warning when Argos pinched her arm. Before she could punch him, he rolled so that she was perched on top of him, one leg on either side of his big body. He didn't even wait for an answer before rolling them again, tucking her beneath him and nipping at her neck.

"Hmmm..."Ava pretended to think about her choices, letting her body go limp before hooking one of her legs over his, lifting her hips, and pushing off with the opposite leg to roll them so that she was back on top. Ava was stronger than most would expect for her size, and was constantly underestimated by others, both weres and humans alike. She knew Argos knew better though.

Ava put her hands on floor on either side of Argos's face, the classic "dominant" position for wolves. "Another way?" She asked sweetly. "You mean, right here in the living room? But what if they come back?" Ava slowly started undoing the sweater she wore, a playful glint in her blue eyes. "What if Vincent sees us, rolling around on the floor?"

Aurora yelped lightly when Vincent flipped them over, and smiled back at him as he revealed he was only playing. "Looks like I've gotten through to him. Or was he just playing the whole time?" She thought to herself as he nuzzled her neck. It wasn't altogether unpleasant, but she wasn't about to submit that easily; he wasn't going to have dominance over her if she could help it. She pushed Vincent off of her and jumped on top of him, one leg on either side of him and her hands pinning his arms down. She growled playfully and nuzzled his neck, her instincts starting to get the better of her. Had this been a normal situation between the two, without the kidnapping and the imprisonment, they would have been at each others' throats, most likely trying to rip the others' out. For some reason though, Aurora couldn't really remember why that was. They were rival packs, sure but why were they rival packs, did they really have to fight if it was this easy to cooperate?

Argos smiled as Ava flipped them over. He wasn't really holding them there, so it was easy for her to do so. He smiled at her as she questioned him, starting to undo the sweater she had on. "Well, we could move to the bedroom or to the bathroom, but this floor is oddly comfortable. As for Vincent... if he knows what's good for him, he'll avert his gaze. I'd hate to have to interrupt things just to teach him a lesson." He grinned and leaned up, kissing Ava and wrapping his arms around her to pull her close to him. In truth, he didn't really care if the other two came back, right now all he cared about was the person sitting on top of him.

An hour or so later, Vincent was panting hard, out of breath, but happy, play fighting with the female. They had been rolling through the mud, each trying to get the other as filthy as possible.

Vince had the upper hand momentarily, and had pinned Aurora on her back, when suddenly his spine stiffened. His paws flexed, claws extending to their full length in the mud as he bit back a snarl.

The baser part of his brain kicked in, and he knew he had to get away from the female. Vince staggered into the trees, seeking solitude while his bones broke and reformed, his body shifting back into human form.

Finally, it was over. Vince lay on the ground naked, shivering, and exhausted. He knew some where in the back of his mind that he had clothes some where, that he should get back to them and dress, but he barely had the energy to lift his head. He also knew Aurora was around some where, but he also couldn't summon the will to care, it simply took too much effort.

Aurora was honestly having fun with Vincent. She had been worried before, but once the danger had passed, she was quite enjoying herself. When Vincent pinned her to the ground and suddenly stiffened, she could tell something was wrong. Getting to her feet as he staggered off into the trees, she heard the sound of bones breaking; he must have been turning human again. She shook off the mud that was all over her and walked over to where Vincent's clothes were laying, picking up her own clothes on the way. She slowly changed back into human form, quickly putting on her top and picking up Vincent's clothes.

Sighing, Aurora carried them over to where he had disappeared into the trees. She easily tracked his scent and came upon him laying on the ground, looking absolutely exhausted. It looked like the excess adrenaline had caused him to burn off too much energy and now his body was pretty much shutting down. He needed rest and something to eat. She silently helped him back into his clothes and lifted him up, supporting him with her shoulders. "Come on Vincent, we gotta get you some food." She didn't expect a response, and she practically had to carry him back to the entrance. Apparently the test was over as the guards there for their escort were waiting.

"The least they could do would be help me with him." Aurora thought to herself as she helped Vincent down the hall to their living quarters. She carried him in, laid him on the couch and sighed, looking around for Ava and Argos. "Argos? Ava? You two still here?" She called out to her pack mates. They could have been taken for testing, she thought, but she could still smell their scents in the house, though they were mingling together, Aurora didn't have to be a detective to figure out why. She figured she'd give them a little privacy and look after Vincent herself, moving to the kitchen to grab some water and a bit of leftover food from when Argos cooked.

Vincent was vaguely aware of Aurora dressing him. He knew he should be more embarrassed - a female of a rival pack helping him dress, let alone the female of a supposed-to-be-rival pack - but there just wasn't enough room in his mind. It took all of his concentration to stay conscious, and to not drop all his 230 pounds of dead weight onto Aurora.

They were moving, slowly. Vincent knew the test was over when they passed the guards, and although it felt like the effort would kill him, he managed to straighten up slightly as he passed them. Back in the house, the remainder of Vincent's strength left him as Aurora helped him lay out on the couch.

Vince knew Aurora was going into the kitchen to get him something to eat to help him gain his strength back, but he didn't have the energy to keep his eyes open another second, and he slipped into blissful unconsciousness.

Ava snuggled in closer to Argos, basking in the scent of him. She'd had her eyes closed until Aurora called out. Ava's pale blue eyes opened, and she kissed Argos's jaw before she sat up and stretched, smiling at Argos over her shoulder. She slid from the bed and grabbed one of Argos's shirts from the floor. It was huge on her, long enough that it skimmed the top of her knees.

"C'mon love. We should make sure they're alright." Ava opened the door, and smiled at Argos again as she stepped out into the living room, clad only in his shirt. Ava noticed first that Aurora was in the kitchen, scrounging up food for Vincent, who was sprawled out on the couch, asleep. Ava went over to Aurora and helped her put together something for Vincent to eat.

"What happened?" She asked casually. As Ava's alpha, Aurora wasn't obligated to answer any question Ava asked of her. The two were as close as they could be, friends even, but the hierarchy had to be respected. No matter the answer Ava received, she knew it would be as close to the actual events as possible, and truthful. Thankfully, Aurora didn't believe in keeping secrets that weren't absolutely necessary.

Aurora smiled as Ava came out of the bedroom, noting her choice of clothing to be a little lacking. She was thankful for Ava's help, because she was not exactly amazing in the kitchen. She could prepare basic things, but aside from that she was not as good as Argos or Vincent. "They knocked us out and shot us full of some sort of adrenaline cocktail. It forced a change on Vincent, but not me. I had to change to keep up with him." Aurora set the food on a large plate and moved to the fridge to find it restocked with water, she wondered how they did that and grabbed a few bottles. Looking back up to Ava she said, "He burnt off too much energy and he's pretty much exhausted now. I had to practically carry him back here." Sighing, she carried the bottles of water and the plate of food over to Vincent, seeing him sleeping on the couch. She set his meal on the table and opened one of the bottles of water, smirking, she dumped the cold water on Vincent's head.

Argos sighed as Ava climbed out of bed and slipped his shirt on. Raising an eyebrow he said, "Is that what you're going to wear?" She had already left by the time he asked, so he sat up slowly, stretching and standing up. He grabbed a pair of pants, but couldn't find a shirt; Ava had taken his only one. Sighing, Argos stepped out into the living room without a shirt on and saw Aurora and Ava fixing food for an unconscious Vincent. He frowned, but didn't say anything, and chuckled as Aurora poured water on his head. "Well that's one way to try waking him up. I should cook us some lunch, or is it dinner... curse these fake lights, I can't tell what time of the day it is." Argos moved to the kitchen and looked through the cabinets again, not entirely sure what he was looking for, hoping to have something good catch his eye.
