Some f*****t
Geocaching is an outdoor sporting activity in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", anywhere in the world.
A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook where the geocacher enters the date they found it and signs it with their established code name. Larger containers such as plastic storage containers (Tupperware or similar) or ammunition boxes can also contain items for trading, usually toys or trinkets of little value. Geocaching is often described as a "game of high-tech hide and seek"

Gaaaaaaaay
What they don't tell you is this s**t is treasure hunting. Real life treasure hunting. You ******** go out their with your Iphone, your car gps, or your ******** android OS installed Google d***o and you get to find treasures left out by other folks for you to find!
Just hold your ******** horses there cocksucker there are rules to this s**t. Basically the rules are as follows.
Quote:
1. If you take something from the geocache (or "cache"), leave something of equal or greater value.
2.Write about your find in the cache logbook.
3.Log your experience at www.geocaching.com.
2.Write about your find in the cache logbook.
3.Log your experience at www.geocaching.com.
So to paraphrase
1. Don't be a huge dickhead. If you don't leave more treasure what is the ******** point? What kind of pirate doesn't hide treasure? Internet pirates aren't ******** pirates and they aren't ******** cool. If you want to be a d**k and not bury treasure, stay in your ******** basement! This is for outside pirates! Also nothing illegal. No drugs, no guns. Nothing stupid. Kids play this s**t too. Let's all be ******** civil here.
2. Leave your name or pen name or pseudonym, or whatever and when you found the cache in the logbook. Let people know their are other pirates out there.
3. This s**t really does't look that important. I guess go talk to folks on the internet? Don't you do that already?
Those are just the rules for playing there is more at the official website
WHAT YOU NEED!
1. Some sort of GPS device so that you can enter the code for the object.
2. Some way to access the database and find geocache locations. I am using Geocaching.com and the free, open source c:geo app for android.
3. Legs would probably help.
4. (Optional.) Geocaching crew! Bring friends!
5. (Also optional) s**t to leave if you decide you want to trade loot. If you don't have this one don't take anything though!
GAME TYPES
Traditional: For this you just find a cache, leave your name, trade s**t. Simple.
Multi Cache: This is cool as hell. You find the first cache, and inside is a hint for the second cache. You keep doing this scavenger hunt bullshit until you find the final cache. This one is awesome and along with treasure there is an additional prize of getting bitches. (Gender neutral bitches ladies. Men can be bitches too, and... I dunno where I am going with this just humor me and play.)
Mystery/Puzzle Cache: Is a cache where you have to solve a puzzle to find the cache location! This s**t is like a video game adventure or some s**t, BUT IT IS REAL.
Event Cache: A cache with a place and a time. Get there by the time and there will be other people to meet you and talk about geocaching!
CITO Caching: Stands for Cache in Trash Out, and is a type of geocache where you collect any litter you see on the way to the geocache and then get rid of the trash. This s**t helps the world!
You can do your own research by going to http://www.geocaching.com or another geocache site. Wikipedia has an article on it too. COME ON GUYS
