-- Hiro --- Electra50/50 --- 50/50Tonics:3/3 "You mean you had planned for this entire thing to happen. When, instead of actually trying to prevent it, you allowed it so people could fix a diety's mistake?" Electra said, much to her new partners dismay. Hiro decided it was best not to cross a womans wrath. The world might just end yet. The battle had been pretty top scale, considering everyone looked like they went though hell. Too bad he had taken little part in helping. Exhaustion made the Machop go on his knees. Second day on the job and they had to save the planet. Whatever happened to small scale things the moment you joined, then working your way to bigger and badder things? Hiro shook his head. "I guess here's hoping nothing else goes wrong." he silently said to the spider, who nodded in agreement. "So uh, Mr. Reindeer what happens now?" he asked, unaware he was talking to a god. Yeah, he hadn't been raised with hearing about all those holy figures to worship or anything. Heck, as far as he knew the Mewtwo was just a purple, bipedal Persian.

     Victor - Harumi - Aiden - Doku - Maxi
There are multiple words to describe something beyond comprehension. Insane, unbelievable, impossible... All five Pokemon were feeling some sort of variance of the feeling of not being able to comprehend what they were seeing. Was this really happening? Was it really over, and had it really ended the way it had?
Victor, being a Pokemon who took pride in intelligence and logic, was dumbfounded at the scene before him. What he had just seen Skye do had risen so many questions in the Scyther's head. How was Skye able to perform such a powerful attack? If it was genetic, then why couldn't Doku or Harumi do such a thing? Was it possible that this was some sort of dormant ability within the Eclipse family line? Ivy and Skye were of the same generation, as well as being the firstborn daughters in their families. There was just so much sense that Victor felt the need to make of all this, but couldn't. It didn't help that now Arceus himself had appeared before the Guild, dashing Victor's doubts of the existence of the creator Pokemon. "Gone... as planned?"
Maxi was confused as all hell. One moment he had been attacking a crazy Eevee with crazy-a** powers, then suddenly an old Espeon and two young Eeveelutions were killing Darkrai and Arceus had appeared to them. Maxi stared up at the large God Pokemon, blinking once. "... Eh, I've seen more impressive things..." The Toxicroak muttered as he crossed his arms. "I don't suppose anyvone packed an extra cigar for ze' trip?"
Aiden's eyes were locked on one thing throughout the entirety of the events that lead to the Guild's victory. That one thing was Skye. He was simply paralyzed in awe of this young female Eevee. Not long before he had been fighting Skye's father in favor of the girl's personal rights. Now, Skye was saving the entire universe from destruction with her cousin Ivy. How had such a thing come to pass? Did Aiden's earlier attempt at boosting Skye's confidence have something to do with these outstanding results? There was only one thing Aiden knew for sure. "... I gotta keep my eyes on her~"
Harumi had more of an emotional response as soon as she saw her sister running toward Darkrai. No, even she couldn't let this one slide. Skye was going to die, and there was no doubt of that in Harumi's mind. "NO! Skye, please don't!" The young Eevee cried as she frantically chased after her big sister. Skye was all Harumi really had. The poor younger sister didn't want to lose the Pokemon who, though she criticized Skye all the time, she looked up to. Tears were forming in Harumi's eyes as she kept trying to catch up with Skye and her cousin Ivy. As she did so, her body had began to give off a slight glow.
"No! Not both of you!" Doku knew he was far too late to stop his eldest daughter from doing whatever she was going to do. He only hoped that she would come out of it alive. However, he could stop Harumi from putting herself in danger, and that's exactly what he did. Sprinting up right behind the young Eevee, he leaped forward and pounced upon her, pinning her onto the ground. At the same time, Harumi's body gave off a bright flash.

Doku was now lying on top of a slender Espeon, the coloring the same as his young daughter Harumi. The newly evolved Pokemon hadn't even noticed her own physical change. All she could do was look on, sobbing as she watched her sister and cousin confront the most feared Pokemon in history.
Needless to say, both Eeveelutions were caught by surprise when Skye showed what she was capable of. Harumi stared at her sister in not only disbelief, but shock. Everything Harumi thought she knew about her sister had been thrown to s**t from this one revelation. Skye was better than Harumi in every way, now. Smarter, tougher, more powerful. Tears coninued to stream from the corners of the Espeon's eyes as she watched her sister take down Darkrai once and for all. "I'm useless..." She whimpered softly.
"No you're not..." Her father's gruff voice said softly as he stood up, releasing his daughter from his weight. Harumi's legs shivered as her father helped her back up onto her paws. "You're my daughter, and you're the most beautiful Espeon on the face of this planet." Harumi blinked after her father said this. Espeon...? She quickly began to look over herself, taking note of her fur, which was now quite short and smooth. Her tail was significantly longer, and it split into two at the end. Lifting a paw, she felt at the silver jewel on her forehead. "I... Evolved...?" The Espeon questioned softly as the light of Arceus surround them. Rev
Far outside the Tower, standing on top of a large rock, Rev watched the structure. The Zangoose stood there, silent, as his scarf flapped gently in the wind. He could feel himself beginning to whither, which is why he had come to this place. He wanted his last sight to be the Guild, victorious. If the Zangoose had skin on his bottom jaw, he'd be smiling for the first time in a long time. "They finished what I could not... Congratulations, Guilds of Eclipse. You truly are undisputed heroes..." The Zangoose said softly. Slowly but surely, Rev's body began to turn to dust. His ashes were carried away by the wind, leaving only a blue scarf lying on top of the large rock he had been standing on.

OliverDarkrai’s counterattack never reached the Eevee pair it was meant for, but Oliver was still close enough that he was caught in it, and completely unprepared for what it could do. It ripped away small but significant parts of his mind, leaving him in utter agony for a moment that lasted forever. When the healing wave washed over him, he was able to stand up and see Arceus with his own eyes. In all honesty, he couldn’t give a turd. As people did whatever it was you were supposed to do when Arceus was there, Oliver could only look at the casualties of the battle. His own remaining teammates were an example; neither had lived into what could be considered adulthood before they were killed, and yet they were not even the only losses. The founder of the Guilds, the Suicune, the Bulbasaur whose name he believed to be Melissa, and the Jolteon he thought was called Veritas were all gone, along with who knew how many other dead and wounded. It was at this point that he came to a realization regarding the casualties and responsibilities thereof. As he fully understood the implications and his own resultant duties, he turned to the primary cause of this disaster. “See you around, Solaris.”And then he walked out the door. (Note: I assumed that those of Cherry's characters she decided to kill, actually died. If things turn out otherwise I'll edit my post.)

Skye & ZoriSkye lay on the ice-slicked marble floor, part of the stone hollowed out beneath their paws. Surface cracks spread outward from her body like a spiderweb. She felt, saw, and heard nothing. There was no warmth or comfort from her cousin's body, just cold. Frost had formed along the tips of her silver-violet fur, leaving it in spikes that glittered in the dusty, growing light. The feeling was beginning to return, and she could hear murmurs of voices beyond her range of focus. Everything was yet just out of reach. She took a staggered, shaky breath, and choked on the agony that quickly spilled through her throat and torso. Pain. Her mind was focused, now. She could feel everything around her. ...She hadn't expected any of this to be as strong as it was, or leave her in such a state. It would be a while before she wanted to do anything other than sitting upright... not that she wanted to do that, either. Finally, dark eyes slid partway open.
Her vision took a few moments to snap into focus, but very quickly she was figuring out what was happening. People had died. Blood stained the floor, running red along the cracks in the marble. She didn't know if it was hers, but she felt the pain from within. No, it couldn't be hers. The simple act of lifting her head to check on Ivy brought a weak gasp of pain from her aching throat. Ivy, too, seemed dazed. In an equal amount of agony, but seemingly unharmed, Skye simply let herself drop back to the marble, her cheek pressed against her foreleg.
She could see further, now, and though the sheer volume of the noise around her was painful, she was glad that her hearing had also returned. She could hear her sister's sobs, her voice. It was clear as crystal to her, and the fact that she heard it at all seemed to lift her weary heart skyward. She ignored the voice in her head, that spoke of victory and pride. She ignored the voice of the guild leaders and warriors, whose orders skimmed right past her ears. The cries of pain and loss from those around her. She felt nothing for that. Not now. She just wanted it all to fade away, to hear the voices of those she loved and know that they were safe. If she could hold onto that, she wouldn't have to think about anything else. Maybe then it would be bearable.
- - - - -
Zori, too, awoke quickly. The pendant around her neck had saved her, but it hadn't lasted afterward. Her claws raked weakly across the marble as she squirmed from beneath the stone pillar. A hollowed section of stone had exploded out from above her, saving her from the flattened torso which would surely had killed her outright. She could remember the flash of gold as the pednant activated once more, and the sheer noise of the marble column erupting into dust on contact with the barrier. She hadn't felt so relieved in quite a while. Still shaken, however, she slumped back down onto the floor beside the pillar.
The Leafeon was quick to regain her footing, stumbling forward to rejoin her family. It took a bit of concentration to recover her balance, though blood still splattered her flank, dripping down and trailing along the floor. The wound itself was already sealed over; the burst of healing magic had restored her body to its true strength, leaving even the scar along her shoulder minimized and clean. Her pace quickened as she caught sight of her mate and youngest daughter, and she sprinted to their side. They were safe and unharmed, and for that she felt nothing but joy. In moments, she met the pair of them without a word, rasping her tongue roughly over their foreheads (though she had to stretch a little to reach her mate's). Once again, she opened her mouth to speak, but was met without a word to say. She shook her head, nuzzling her newly-evolved daughter with a thick purr of pride.
She could see Skye resting further off; unharmed but thoroughly exhausted. She seemed not to want their attention, nor that of anyone's, really. With a quiet sight, she came to the realization that despite her concern, she might not be hearing from her eldest child at all for a while. ...It mattered little. Just as Harumi had left them before, Skye, too, needed her time to figure things out. They would always return, and they'd shine all the brighter for their efforts. As she drew away from Harumi, she pressed close to her mate's side, pricking her ears as she admired the beauty that her baby had become. "Harumi, sweetheart, you're gorgeous. A gem in the darkest sky.... I'm proud of you," she murmured, weary but content in the wake of the chaos.
- - - - -
Skye lay in silence, listening to the echoes of the voices around her. The pain had subsided to a dull throb, eased by the healing touch of the Tribe Pokemon that had survived. A few Pokemon nodded at her as they passed, or even gawked in open surprise or curiousity. It was confusing, but for the moment she seemed not to care. It didn't really sink in, what she had just accomplished. Even the strength that her cousin had proven to hold seemed to matter little.
With a weak shiver, she admired the sight of her family drawing close together. They were safe and unharmed. Harumi had evolved, the sight of her golden markings bringing a stab of envy to the violet-furred Eevee. The glow of evolution was gorgeous, and it seemed that it never left the bodies of the Tribe Pokemon. Haru was no exception. There was a grace with that Espeon it seemed no one could match, but it seemed the smile on her own face was short-lived.
Ivy stirred, nudging her in the ribs and bringing a stab of pain through her chest again. Without hesitation, she drew herself to her paws, her hind feet dragging a little as she tried to bring them forward to hold her weight as she stood upright. Where her mother had been shaken, Skye was not. She was aware, despite her exhaustion. The gravity of what had just occurred had yet to settle in. There was nothing to feel shaken about.
Without another moment to waste, she padded across to the far side of the room, avoiding the familiar faces of her family. Inner calm aside, there was still a lot that she needed to think about.

Rai HP: 45/50 Hari HP: 50/50 "As planned? What're you, crazy? You almost killed us all. You've tormented so many other souls that never asked for this! You've been manipulating, been corrupted! You were turned into a bloody shadow of yourself! Think, you stupid god! THINK!" Rai was fuming. He was jumping up and down in anger. Hari, who came from across the room, missing tooth in tact, shushed him by slapping him.
"If not for him, you wouldn't be here nimrod!"
"Oh... yeah." Rai stared at the Arceus. The being was now, supposedly, mentally sound, but it didn't sound like it. The Darkrai who just magically appeared and killed Lopunny and then was shot by a Judgement from the good guys. Rai thought bitterly Am I the only one who can't shoot lightning?

Finian, even in the presence of his god and the enemy he had been pitted against time after time now finally fallen, found himself overcome with sudden apathy. Voices were pervading his head, his wounds were fully healed, and everyone around him, friend and foe were in a practical riot as all the world around him began to slow down. Perhaps this was because of how anticlimactic this all was, or at least it was to him; he had to slow it down in his mind just to try and take in and enjoy the victory at hand. Sadly he couldn't come to that point. He considered putting this much up to his own selfishness. Sure he give his all and played his part, but did that really make a difference? It was the royal family that, in the end, really finished things once and for all, and with little casualty too. A bit of blood shed followed by some routine hospital visits and a few days from now this will all just be put off as a joke. "Hey remember that time we saved the world? Yeah, haha." The thought rested sour in his mind. He wanted to go home. Maybe back at the guild, given a few days for planning, no maybe a few weeks, they're not that fast there, there might be a banquet or something in celebration. That might be nice. A ******** feast with corny entertainment to applaud all the effort put into this. Clearly well worth it. Uggh. He let out an audible grumble in response to all that has now been taken in and processed of what has just happened before him. In retrospect he really wasn't liking his outlook at all either; he wanted to be happy, he genuinely did. It just wasn't meant to be apparently. He shrugged it off, maybe given some time to go home and rest he would be better off. He just wanted happiness and he knew it wasn't here. Moments ago he was fighting as a whole, but now, finding no joy in the outcome, maybe it was better to fight for his own happiness. The Absol was left somewhere between deciding upon pacing back and forth with anxiety and flopping over and taking a nap right where he stood. Either way it wasn't like it was going to matter until the order was given to head back to the guild. That's all this was anyway; today was just a bunch of orders. He was just a pawn in this game, if even that. And yet, he was still okay with as much. He never striven or asked for better or more anyway so that was his fault. Dear hell today was just filled with a ton of self hating self reflection, wasn't it?

& & & & & ( Saraph & Alaisdair & The Raven & GOOP & Ravi & Joey )It was so quick yet so slow, the events that unfolded before their eyes going by so fast that they could do nothing but watch on. They stared, awe in their eyes as they watched Orion and Eridanus, an old hero and an old enemy, have time tick back for them to the point where time could tick no more. The act itself seemed to have hurt their leader, Joey noticing the blood coming out of his mouth. He seemed like a pansy on the surface but the Espeon was rather fierce when provoked. Either way, the Audino had no idea what to do now.
Situations like these, he was useless. While the normal type was capable of healing, he never practiced it much, where he had been prior there was nobody who he was allowed to experiment on and he had focused all his training into his physical power. He was somewhat of a medic, but he lacked the proper training to openly claim so. Small cuts, bruises, that was child play - the stuff here wasn't. Hell, people were dying around him and he couldn't do a thing about it.
It sucked being so useless.
He shielded his eyes at the judgement produced by the Glaceon and Eevee in the front, he had no idea who they were but he was sure of one thing, they were from the royal family. He'd remember to give them a word of thanks later when all this madness was over, for now he'd choose to keep staring forwards, speechless. A blinding light, the Audino went and covered his eyes with his right paw, reaching his left up to cover those of the Shellos on top of him.
The next thing he knew, he felt a sort of pressure in the room. He uncovered his eyes, two little jade stones on his face that stared up at Arceus blankly. Unlike everyone else who wanted to talk to the god, he only stopped and stared. One thought stood out in his mind, and it was all he could think, over and over.
"Where were you?"
His lip twitched but his mind kept his mouth from opening and asking such a thing. Whether it was out of fear, confusion, or respect, he couldn't bring himself to ask it. All he could do was keep it to himself as the memories of days upon days spent in the same place, doing the same thing. Never anything to look forward to, never anything to wake up for - monotony. After the first few months he had abandoned asking why, asking for help, forgiveness. He had never outright given up on worshipping a god - he'd just lost some of his faith in this one. To him, there was nothing wrong with that, at one point or another someone loses a bit of faith after they felt like the wool was being pulled over their eyes. It would come back to them, though, eventually.
Alaisdair shook and trembled under Joeys arm so wildly his leaves could be heard even over the commotion, he was so scared he was going to pee himself (too late for that, though, already happened before he got here). All it took was that bright flash of light, once he saw the outline of the figure the world began to spin and fade...
ALAISDAIR FAINTED!
The oddish fell down onto the ground with a thud, Joey bending over and picking him up. Wiping his paw over his face, he looked down at Rave, the only other man he had left with him. "Lets go. I- I ain't plannin' on stickin' around fer long." Raven brought his flipper up, "What about horse bro?" He was still missing, right? Joey sighed, "Ferget about 'im. He'll come back, they always do."
Raven remained doubtful, but went with the audino anyways. Not wanting to stick out, yet willing to wait, they slinked into the back of the crowd, blending in and becoming lost in the crowd. They'd wait in silence for the rest of the guilds.

'I'm not going to die here'
The ralts dragged himself, his hands(?) dirty and sore as his long, flowing dress-like skin also swept up the grounds contents. Panting, he tried to inch forwards, only to realize the strength in his arms was sapped. He hadn't planned his far ahead, and it had backfired on him. His mother had warned him about using that move on himself, having been the one who taught it to him in the first place. He didn't know it would hurt this bad until...
He gripped the striped, two toned knit scarf around his neck. It was soft and warm, it made him feel like he could take on the world. He huffed, laying there for a moment before feeling weight on his shoulders. "Body..." he managed to moan out, though it fell upon deaf ears to whoever it was that had picked him up. It was only after a minute that he heard a response from the mystery mon, its figure blurred by Saraphs own failing eyes.
"I'm keeping my promise, you better keep yours"
It was an unfamiliar voice to him but he had to trust it, whether he liked it or not. :: :: ✗ Senka :: Louvell :: Fredrick ✗[[ WIP ]] Tonics: 3

EbonyThe body of the lithe, black-furred Lopunny began to stir, crimson eyes flickering weakly open as her dying breaths still slipped from her throat. She was losing strength and blood in equal amounts, the confusion and agony of what had just happened beginning to sink in. She hadn't the time to figure it out, but she could feel herself fading. Even now, as she was lying on the cold marble, her body was changing. The darkness was fading from her fur, dripping down like a wave of black ink. From beneath the blackness, her true form shone through. Thick swirls of pink cotton-candy, silky brown fur. She seemed to blink the ink from her eyes, only to reveal the lightened, pink irises where scarlet had once stared openly outward. Her expression shifted from one of fury to one of childish fear, and very suddenly, it was as if a whole new Pokemon lay dying on the floor.
The healing pulse flowed over her, too, relieving her of the pain, and soothing her worries. Within moments, she had propped herself up to sit on her butt, drawing her fluffy legs in tight to her torso. The tips of her long ears rested on the floor, the thick fur bringing her a little warmth and comfort despite her confusion. She didn't understand. Where was her father? Her mother? She wanted to go home! Tears welled up in the corner of her eyes, the Lopunny sniffling as she tried to keep her nose from running.
She heard the voices around her shift to ones of confusion and suspicion, and the little Normal-type lifted her head. Wide eyes stared openly at the gathering crowd, and she shrunk back against the wall. A tall figure stood over her, his shadow cast across the floor, and disrupting the light that rained down from above. Trembling, she looked up at him, twitching her fluffy ears back in confusion. He didn't look like her father. He looked scary and angry. She felt a vague pang of familiarity, the sensation that she'd met this male before, but she couldn't figure out why. She'd never done anything to him! She was just scared, couldn't he leave her alone?
Hiding her large, pink eyes behind her fluffy paws, Ebony let out a muted wail of fear. "N-noooo! G-go awayyyy!" ( ;___; ) she whimpered, curling more tightly into a ball as she cowered against the wall. She didn't know them. She didn't want them near her. Within seconds, the frightened child- Was that what she was? She felt a little bigger than that; like a grown-up, almost. She didn't understand. -had begun to cry. There was so much she didn't understand, couldn't make sense of. And now there were all these people around her, and she was just scared.
'Someone... anyone... Who am I?'

The deep timbre of the god's voice rose above the cries of outrage, from the start this was to be done. it had all been planned the second i split my soul in two to give the world both light and darkness. broken, incomplete, to keep from breaking my own vows of neutrality i concocted this plan to return my pieces to myself. two vessels were made, a war was started and a villain pushed to the front to keep your focus from what was truely occuring. fate. destiny. you mortals call it many things, i call it a success.
Solaris could only gape in shock, horror, amazement. It was hard to settle on a single reaction. To find that God played them as puppets to get what he wanted. That he made them just for his own gain. It came as a shock to many, but perhaps the one who took it hardest was the other Legendary present.
Archer had not said a word upon hearing Arceus speak the first time. Had not moved a muscle, had barely blinked. The information had processed, he knew what he heard and yet he rejected it continuously until it forced it's way into his mind and clung there like poison. The Mewtwo's face contorted to rage, then remorse and finally nothing as he promptly sat down hard on the ground in the continual silence. Raith did a quick glance from the smaller legendary to the 'God' before noticing the pink and brown fluff sobbing in the corner. Wait-eh-wasn't that the psychotic Lopunny? Snorting once he turned back to Archer and nudged the unresponsive Mewtwo with his nose. Ah hell. This would take some fixing.
Tempest is blasting her fury in Thunderbolts at Arceus, it's not working but she's pissed so stay the ******** back.
now that i am complete again it is time you all returned home though i must say that you will find time has passed a few months since you left. the roar of time distorted everything to a crawl here while the world outside continued on. as thanks for your cooperation i shall deliver to your guilds plants from my personal garden, i hope you find them of use. now to teleport you, legacy?
"What." Archer was standing again at the name. Surely Arceus couldn't mean.
"HI EVERYONE!" Popping into existence in the white canvas was the unmistakeable appearance of a shiny Mew. "It's that Mew from before!" Solaris commented, because clearly no one would know if he hadn't shared his infinity vat of wisdom.
"Legacy. What are-"
"Oh come now, Archie. Who do you think it was that Arceus had to watch you? It was my job to keep you in line. On the path set for you. To lead you on as Arceus so wished, in reward I got something myself. And honestly, you couldn't have killed me in the first place. I'm a good actor!" He proceeded to choke and spasm in the air in a fake reinactment of his own prior death. "Mew are superior to Mewtwo, afterall you are our clones." The shiny legendary shrugged then, ignoring the venomous looks he was getting and with a snap of his fingers returned them all to the guilds.
OKAY SO, you may return to the main thread now but keep in mind that TWO MONTHS have passed since this chapter/battle began due to time and space distortion! As such, your characters were missing, presumed dead, this entire time. Enjoy typing up your loving reunion with your other characters and rewards will be posted after everyone else returns to the main thread. :>

Incultyr && Morana && Veritas && Atra && Melissa && Hope && Zero && Suicune20/50 && 10/50* && 0/50 && 30/50* && 0/50 && 20/50* && 40/50 && 0/50Suicune gasped as the Judgement flung her across the room, slamming her into the wall. The momentum of her bulk left quite an indent as she slumped to the floor. Something had broken. The Legendary struggled to get to her feet, not knowing when to stay down. Why should she, who had been worshipped by normal Pokemon as a God most of her life? Ignoring the pain from her midsection -broken ribs perhaps?- the Suicune found her footing again and gave a loud roar, gathering coldness within her mouth as she sprinted back towards Eridanus, ignoring her injuries. Maybe it was because she was a semi-legendary that took priority. Or maybe she was just unlucky, but a bolt of Judgement arced straight from the eevee to the Suicune. It was stronger than the last one that hit the semi-legendary. Much stronger. The Suicune had a split moment to feel see everything light up, feel her body seize up, before the water type simply collapsed onto the floor. Too much was happening. Someone came over briefly and attempted to revive the injured Suicune was forced away by the barrage of attacks coming in that general direction. Another Judgement hit close to the semi-legendary, causing Suicune to twitch for a brief moment. She was gone by the battle's conclusion. --- It was all Hope could do for those around her. She couldn't heal everyone. She couldn't protect them all. The Jirachi was weakening fast as she did her best to throw up shields before Pokemon were hurt. She saw a fellow semi-legendary go down and was immediately by the Suicune's side, channelling healing magic into the water type. Hope had only a few seconds to realize that her efforts her futile -the amount of energy it would take to save the Suicune would send her into a deep sleep like she had done with Atra, and she couldn't afford that- before a judgment slammed into her. "Hope!" A weak shield appeared around the Jirachi, absorbing some of the damage as the small legendary was knocked out of the air. A blue-and-brown blur appeared under the Jirachi, and caught the small psychic type, falling to the ground with Hope held protectively to cushion her from the fall. "Are you ok? Answer me!" Atra asked, carefully getting back to his feet in a way that would allow him to put the Jirachi onto the ground gently and not crush her simultaneously. Hope opened her eyes slowly, just in time to see- "Melis-" Hope tried to cry out, but was cut off by the loud roar of a judgement striking the ground near them. Where Melissa had been standing. Crack! The Jirachi disappeared from Atra's grasp, and the Flareon was on his feet in an instant, watching in disbelief as a large Protect Dome pushed out from where Melissa had been, breaking apart the remains of the Judgement attack. The Flareon ignored the sparks that was scattered, not feeling the pain of it striking fur, burrowing down into flesh. Atra was by Melissa's side in a moment. There was no way she was alive. Atra stared in disbelief at her charred, lifeless body. "Mel?" He knew he couldn't shut down. Not here. Not now. There was still a battle raging around him. Hope laid on the ground beside the Bulbasaur, but at least she stirred, showing signs of life. But Melissa... She might not be dead. Grass types are tough. He can't check for vitals because they work differently. Maybe she was breathing and he just couldn't see it. He had to keep her and Hope safe. He stood protectively above the two, glaring at Eridanus. That eevee. He was dead. He was going down. Suddenly, the eevee's attacks seemed to focus on one target- Orion. Atra's great gandfather. The Flareon took the oppourtunity, he ripped the plate off his neck. He didn't care about the consequences anymore. It was time to fight fire with fire. Or Judgement with Judgement. It wasn't that powerful. As Atra opened himself to channel the powers of Arceus, it wasn't the flood of power as it was before. The last time he had used his Icicle Plate, he had frozen a large body of water and had taken down a legendary with it. Not now. Was Arceus that weakened? It didn't feel right. It was still excruiciating for a mortal. Atra realized fast enough that he was too exhausted, too hurt, to launch a focused attack at Eridanus with what he had. It would likely kill him. He fought his frustration as he released the power before it could rip him apart. Too much was happening. He felt helpless. With all the power at his disposal, he couldn't protect Mel. He was tiny and insignificant amongst gods and legendaries. He squinted as a Roar of Time blasted the eevee and his great grandfather into nonexistence. It was over. Just like that. Atra felt hollow. What had it all been for? Did they need him? What was the point of them coming, at least all the normal kids that the guilds were comprised of. Atra baredly raised his eyes when Darkrai appeared. What did it matter? If Atra had been at full strength...could he have done something? Perhaps if he unleashed a Judgement, uninhibited, allowed the full strength of Arceus to flow through him as his father had- would he be able to end this? It would kill him as surely as his father, using Judgement like that. But when Arceus himself is so weak? Was it worth getting himself killed to- to what? To protect Molly. Melissa. Hope. Zosee and Morana and Zora and mother and Lillium. And Albus. That last name brought a twinge of...annoyance? His brother didn't come. Albus was able bodied and a strong fighter. He had Judgement as well. He could have come and fought, but instead his brother chose to run away. There were things worth protecting. Maybe Melissa would still be alive if- Atra's head snapped up as he sensed it. That powerful surge of Arceus's power. He looked on in shock as the two young eeveelutions stepped up to Darkrai and unleashed it. How? How was Arceus's power so strong, so pure when it flowed through the two of them? Why had it been weak, dying almost, when Atra himself tried to call upon the god's power? As he watched Darkrai's destruction, Atra knew. I have no faith in him anymore.--- Incultyr groaned as he opened his eyes. The last thing he remembered was a bright flash of light- and pain. He was slouched against the wall face-first and it took him a second to remember why. He had seen the attack coming. He had turned and pinned himself to the wall, with Morana between him and it, to shield her. Then the bright flash, the heat, the feeling of pain surging through is body. "Anna?" He looked down to see Anna collapsed between him and the wall, and thankfully the Tyrannitar had not fallen on her. He bent down to examine her, and was relieved to see that the houndoom was breathing. In fact, she didn't look hurt at all. For what they had just gone through, Incultyr felt fine too. Then he remembered Veritas, who had been near them. She had been in the way of the attack as well- the Tyrannitar turned to look for her. The Jolteon laid on her side three meters away. The battle was over. There was some sort of conversation with Arceus going on, but Incultyr tuned it out. He listened only enough to know that everyone had been healed of their wounds. Incultyr stopped when he realized something was wrong. Unlike Morana, the Jolteon wasn't breathing.
