With the scowl still in place, Vanessa continued down what she hoped was the right path. She heard the whispering again, but Vanessa wasn't going to fall for it again. She wasn't.
So she made an angry face, looked around the corner to see the dead-end, and then promptly continued.

The Lifer wanted to be out of this tunnel. At least this time Volt wasn't trying to give her advice that wasn't at all helpful.
Apparently anger was a good motivator, since somehow Vanessa found herself emerging from the tunnels without a scratch on her. Huh.
She shook her head, re-focusing on their reason for coming here, and followed after her Division as soon as she could see them.
