Tybalt gave the broken doll a sheepish shrug and grinned.
"Aww come on Mei, I didn't think you needed me to wait around for you~" He teased, walking back towards the water. He still found it amazing that within a desert, such a large pool of water was readily available. He couldn't imagine how it hadn't dried up. Though just as he was about to turn around and walk away again, something slipped around his ankle and nearly dragged him into the water.
"Holy s**t!" Luckily, the black dog's first instinct was to grab hold of one of the palm trees and hold on for dear life, because whatever had a hold of him wasn't going to let him just walk away. Though thankfully after a brief struggle, it gave in, releasing its hold on him when he wouldn't budge an inch.
"Okay, the plants are trying to kill me! I think its time to leave!" He said, running back to where Mei was--to safety.

Mei grumbled something unintelligent under her breath at the black dog's remark, before casually brushing her hair back out of her face. "No, I don't. But its common curtsy, mutt." Narrowing her eye at the boil, she almost gawked at something from behind Tybalt. What it was, she had absolutely no clue, but something had grabbed hold of him, and was trying to drag him off.
.....
"Pfffffftttt~hah hah hah!" Unable to stop herself, the doll pointed and laughed at the boil, rather than offer any assistance. Karma was a beautiful thing sometimes. "Heheheh, serves you right!" She choked out, too busy laughing as the black dog made his way back to her.
Once she had finally settled down some, she looked to the water of the oasis. Something about it was..off. Was that oil in the water..? Shrugging the abnormality off, Mei tagged along with Tybalt in search of a new location in the clan.
