A bush shook and out jumped... the bush? That's right, a wild Tangela attacked! Argos stepped in the way, and the two glared daggers. This fight was his and they began to tango. Of a sort. The grass type lashed out with their vines. Luckily Argos was swift, throwing a Scratch attack! The Tangela caught it and held the alligator upside down.

"Bite!" Chael ordered and Argos did just that. But he froze the grass type into an ice statue. "Did... did we just freeze that Pokemon alive?!" he asked, Tamgela breaking free the moment after. Luckily it ran away as fast as it could. Well... it seems Argos learned Ice Fang.

Long treks? Easy for someone who's been doing this for as long as Gage, like over fifteen years since he was ten. At one point a traveling pokemon trainer just learns how to pace himself, go the distance, and he decided, after memorizing a map of the Etura region, to do a short circuit once around and catch whatever he can find. From Blyse, through the forest, and past Asude Lake, then through the desert, and back to where he started. That should get him some serious pokemon to begin with.

Adjusting his boots, again with Yamask being the favorite, Gage started walking with the ghost floating at his side. He quickly left the Gabron Ruins behind, and turned left on the crossroads onto Route 3, towards the Forest.
