SinfulGuillotine It sounds to me like she could be suffering from a mental illness. Potentially a very serious one. How old is she? (I only ask because many kinds of mental illness will not manifest itself in many people until adolescence and/or youg adulthood.) Besides alledgedly hearing voices, what else about her behaviour makes you think she is a victim of demonic possession? I think that she should see a mental health professional (ideally a Christian one who won't automatically dismiss the possibility of demonic activity, but can also diagnose mental illness when s/he sees it). It's just important that if this is in fact the result of mental illness, that she gets the treatment she needs for it sooner rather than later. History (some of it very recent) is full of sad stories of the mentally ill being treated like demons and abominations when they probably could have lived fairly normal lives if they'd received the treatment they needed. Long story short, when demonic posession is suspected, RULE OUT MENTAL ILLNESS FIRST. Regardless, though, I will pray that she finds the source of her problems and finds a way to get through them. smile I never said she was demon possesed by the way, I said most likely, I don't know if she is so I wouldn't lie and say she is. But yeah I'm just seeking prayers for the problem, doesn't rule out demon possesion though.

There are various medications and therapy that can help those afflicted manage their illness and in some cases, some people with schizophrenia can lead relatively normal, productive lives. Others are doomed to spend their lives in mental institutions. But the notion that schizophrenia goes away if you stop eating meat is absolutely absurd. There are several courses of treatment that, in some cases, are successful at permenently eradicating cancerous cells in one's body, but if there was a cure for cancer, there wouldn't be people dying from it left and right. I'm not sure you know the distinction between the words "cure" and "treatment." I'm not sure if the description might have told me who that woman was and why I should care what she has to say, or give more information on the study she spoke of. I'll be generous and assume that this woman has at least one real degree from one real university and has some sort of involvement in treating and/or working with the mentally ill. It sounds like, at best, there was a study conducted that showed that there might be a link between this protein and schizophrenic symptoms. My first reaction is to wonder if this woman has any ties to animal rights activist groups, because I'm sure PETA would love to hear that all you need to do to cure crazy people is to feed them a vegan diet. Point is, I need more than a video of a woman saying animal protein makes you schizophrenic to believe it. I think you did mention the name of a study or something, which I'll look up when I have the time. Gerson Theropy is more than just a vegan diet though. The women in the video is the daughter of Doctor Max Gerson, she took an interest in his work. And conspiracy theory's aren't all rubbish, you'd have to look and see which ones are but the more proof you have the more likely they are to be true. Best thing you can do is talk to her about Jesus, and tell about the plan of Salvation is she doesn't know about it already. Let her know that God can set her free from anything the devil has enslaved her of.
There is nothing more powerful than fasting and prayer.
You both can pray together, or have someone you know is right with God, you two, (or three) can pray together.
Remember God says, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
(Luke 10:19)
It doesn't matter whether it's a mental condition, or a demon possession. Whatever it is, God has given us (his children) the power to overcome, with enough faith and obedience to God.

It's just that mental illness is something that has had a huge, almost entirely negative impact on my life, and it's something that's so frequently misunderstood and made light of that when I hear something like, "Oh, if my friend's schizophrenic she just needs to stop eating meat and she'll be fine," my first reaction is anger and frustration, because it sounds like just one more person who doesn't understand the seriousness and complexity of what it's actually like to live in a world where you can't trust your own mind. Please believe me when I say that one of the most terrifying experiences a person can have is not being able to tell the difference between what's real and what's imaginary. It's not fun like having an imaginary friend. It's horrible, like begging for someone to help you, someone you can clearly see standing in front of you and can clearly hear speaking to you, and yet not even knowing if this person you're begging for help actually exists. It's awful. I know now that you didn't mean to be insulting or to trivialise a serious problem, so I apologise for treating you as if you were. And regardless of whether or not that study actually holds any water, it actually does sound very interesting and I'm looking forward to learning more about it. And I probably shouldn't say ALL conspiracy theories are rubbish. Some of them are at least based in fact, and I actually think the fact that many people aren't blindly willing to trust their governments and the mainstream media is a very good thing. I just happen to think that MOST conspiracy theories are, in fact rubbish, and I have enough problems in my life without joining the tinfoil hat club and thinking that the aliens or my government or both are out to get me, lol. (And yes, I'm aware that not all conspiracy theories are just paranoid delusions about aliens and the government, lol.)

The things I say come from a combination of independent research as well as my own struggles with mental illness. I used to be a vegan, and I'm still crazy as a loon, so while I suppose it's possible that someone somewhere might be cured of schizophrenia by cutting animal products out of their diet, if that treatment was substantially successful, there would be a whole lot less people muttering to themselves in padded rooms. And there ISN'T a CURE for cancer. There are several courses of treatment that, in some cases, are successful at permenently eradicating cancerous cells in one's body, but if there was a cure for cancer, there wouldn't be people dying from it left and right. I'm not sure you know the distinction between the words "cure" and "treatment." I can't watch videos right now since I'm on my friend's mobile, but I don't need a youtube video to explain schizophrenia to me, and if it's telling you that you can cure schizophrenia by cutting animal protein out of your diet, I can tell you right now that it's complete poppycock. I'm not sure what you're on about regarding flouride and cavities and Hitler. I've never had a cavity and go to the dentist as little as possible, so I'll concede ignorance on that particular topic. And who is lying to us? Who is "they"? It sounds like, at best, there was a study conducted that showed that there might be a link between this protein and schizophrenic symptoms. My first reaction is to wonder if this woman has any ties to animal rights activist groups, because I'm sure PETA would love to hear that all you need to do to cure crazy people is to feed them a vegan diet. Point is, I need more than a video of a woman saying animal protein makes you schizophrenic to believe it. Green_Fuu Best thing you can do is talk to her about Jesus, and tell about the plan of Salvation is she doesn't know about it already. Let her know that God can set her free from anything the devil has enslaved her of.
There is nothing more powerful than fasting and prayer.
You both can pray together, or have someone you know is right with God, you two, (or three) can pray together.
Remember God says, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
(Luke 10:19)
It doesn't matter whether it's a mental condition, or a demon possession. Whatever it is, God has given us (his children) the power to overcome, with enough faith and obedience to God.

Thank you! and unfortunatly I don't think I'd be able to pray with her but that would be awesome if I could! and yes prayer and fasting seem to be the only options but the best option since Elohim is the only one who can do anything anyways, all I can do is fast and pray about it and be lead by him in the situation.
