Had Ylaria been instructing a group of the island's own residents, she would have expected such an outpouring of offerings. But these guests, these strangers to her culture, genuinely surprised her. As student after student presented their crafted pieces, she felt a pride that had once only been reserved for her own kind.

They were weak, and they had much to learn, but they weren't as foolish as she once assumed. In just a few days, they had grown to understand something of great importance to the clan. It was more than she ever could have asked from them.

After all of the students made their decisions, the priestess acknowledged them with a gracious bow, and exited the room without a word. Ylaria, however, had a few parting words.

"I am pleased to have taught you, and hope that you will continue to consider all that you have learned. May all be well in your future endeavors."

With that, she dismissed them for a final time.

Those who kept their jewelry would find the FEAR within the gems fading - completely dulled by the time they left the island. Those who sacrificed their jewelry might feel enlightened, inspired, or just a little more optimistic about their stay.

At Ylaria's answer, the siren smiled. "Then that is good. I mean, this will help right so-" hopping over, his wings gave a light flicker as he placed the ring in tray for the offering. letting out a chirp of pride he bound back wings close to fluttering.

"Miss Ylariaaaaaa~" His voice was close to singing as he smiled at her, bouncing on his feet. "You class was really realy fun and I'm sorry if we did anything wrong but I really liked it here the island is very nice and pretty just like Aisa and you! Do you think we might be able to come back some time and make something new? Or just visit? I kind of like how quite it is even if I have a hard time being quite but yes!"

Another bounce. "Thank you Miss Ylaria!"

Luidaeg sighed, glad that she did not seem upset with him for having decided not to offer up his bracelet.
"I was curious. My favorite gemstone has always been opal. I love the wide range of colors it can come in, the way it has new colors and patterns every time you look at it. I was wondering what sort of properties such a stone might have?
Also, coming from an aquatic environment, I was wondering if pearls were gems or not in your culture? I know in normal jewelry they are considered such, but they are also organic rather than mineral, so I wondered if that would make a difference?
I have found this class truly fascinating and intriguing, and hope to continue learning about jewelcrafting once I leave here, though I doubt the teachings I find will compare to what you, who so devote yourselves to the art, can offer. It has been a great honor, I think you." he bowed deeply.

Tyalessa had overheard a interesting question as she went to offer her jewellery, could they keep the instructions their were given. She hand lingered to hear the answer. The teacher had said to this student that they can keep them, Essa too wished to make more, it could be a nice way to beat both boredom and loniness, each one would be a friend to her.
"I'm sorry for eavesdropping, but are we allowed more than one instructions, I'd very much like to learn more than the necklace i got, like the many beautiful rings I've seen."

Thank you Nyet for the class it was great <3

Lumi looked at Ylaria as she addressed her,

"Oh...uhm...I was wondering I well this isle has so many different gems and arifacts and I know that those of us who uhm...kept ours wont see any difference once we leave this place...but is there a way that if we were able to find out way back and seek your guidance again?"

She wasn't sure why but this isle was a place she really didn't want to leave the culture she felt she was only scratching the surface. And she felt that there was so much more she could learn. But one thing was for certain she knew she had learned two lessons on her stay here. One was very obvious to her the other was a little less so.

Looking back over her should at Julian she tried to smile but found it was a little harder to do today. Frowning slightly she turned back towards Ylaria and awaited her response.

"You have done nothing wrong, little bird. There is no error in excitement, though restraint might serve you well in some challenges presented to you."

"I should hope that the opportunity presents itself to those of you who wish to return. Regretfully, this is not for me to decide. If you do find yourself as a guest of the island in the future..." She offered a little smile to each of them. "...do not hesitate to seek me out. Many know where to find me if you do not."

"Ah, opal. As I previously mentioned, some gems that were not covered during our class time are better suited for priestesses - and opal is one of these. It serves to improve clarity, offering foresight and ease of trance induction. Lovely gem." She paused to pack up a few more tiny boxes, working much more slolwly today than previous class days. "And properties are not limited to minerals. As the stones we used are created by FEAR, we are not limited by factors that may be found in other locations. If a stone is precious enough to be used in jewelry elsewhere...one could likely find its FEAR-crafted counterpart here."

Eavesdropping would have been bothersome to Ylaria in any other sort of situation, but with the students gathered as they were...it was hard to avoid.

"I cannot think of any reason that a second set of instructions would cause trouble. A ring?" She fished in one of the boxes from the first day, retrieving a thin piece of paper. "Perhaps this will suffice."

[The paper shows the generic ring plans, but if she'd like a different one, just assume that she took another instead! Only one though, please. <3]
