Kakinomoto ReikoSpeed Shinobi/Combo User | Sunagakure | Genin Put simply, she was just puzzled by the way the little girl was acting around Shinji. From what she could see he wasn't a very scary person, just. All she did was stand there for the brief exchange between the two, being used as a buffer for the girl to protect her from the scary man; and apparently, the reason for her fright was a chakra sensor. That would explain why she could 'sense' people and tell what they were doing, but it didn't explain the reason for being so scared of Shinji. He seemed to be mainly a physical fighter, and those types tended to be less adept with chakra. Thus, she giggled to herself when he mentioned that it was 'sinister' in nature, since from her point of view he was far from that.
Reiko idly watched while he warmed himself up, and gave him a curt nod when he told her to 'keep the kid safe.' He was likely able to deal with everyone quick enough that there would be no stragglers.[Chakra: 25/25] [Stamina: 25/25]

 | Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Chuunin ||| Shinobi Profession: Teaching Master || RPC Profile ||A smile of pure enjoyment grew on Shinji's face as he watched the reactions of the men in front of him. For some time, several of them simply stared at him, still wondering where he had come from and what they should do. One of them finally got a hold of himself and snapped back at Shinji, "None of your business bub... what are you doing here anyway?" Immediately this snapped the two others around him into action as they each drew a long knife they kept at their sides and held it up towards him, though they didn't move any closer to Shinji in fear of his armaments.
Just as he was beginning to feel his adrenaline pump however, Shinji's joy of fighting was ceased from him as his body suffered a wave of excrutiating pain. Stumbling a bit in the shock of the moment, Shinji almost doubled over as his hands moved to his head the pain shooting throughout his entire body. Instantly he felt his entire body cease up and falter, his muscles no longer responding to his wishes as they ached and contracted against his will, arresting him where he stood. Vaguely he was aware of the men in front of him who now looked on with strange expressions, but beyond that, Shinji could feel nothing but the pain which was flooding his entire body.
His mind flashed to his previous encounter with his raging spirit, but quickly Shinji took control of his mind back as he forced himself back to reality to deal with the pain. Two of the men, seeing an opportunity, charged him and aimed to stab him in the chest. Shinji could see them, but his body was sluggish and weak... he could feel his body weakened as the pain lingered within him as a burning sensation which flared through his body, clouding his mind and senses. Instinct alone enabled him to move his now responsive limbs out of the way of the first attack, his foot moving upward to catch the incoming brigand's leg as he stumbled in his missed swing. Instantly, the man lost his balance, dropping his knife as he plummetted downward and hit the ground with a harsh thud.
The second brigand however, taking advantage of Shinji's focus on the other was able to land a hit, his knife cutting into Shinji's side, piercing him as it tore through muscle and flesh to chip a piece off of one of his ribs. To his surprise however, Shinji barely flinched to the deep wound he was given. As if it was part of his plan to be stabbed, Shinji grabbed the man's arm and twisted it in such a way to make him lose his grip on his blade before spinning around with his right elbow, planting it squarely into the man's jaw as he fell unconscious on the ground. The flare of his bloodline's pain had weakened him, but even with reduced strength, Shinji was more then a match for such common place thugs.
At this, the third man who had lingered behind, attacked Shinji after his comrades had fallen, considering him to be weakened enough at this point to be finished off easily. Now fully recovered however, Shinji caught the man off-guard by charging him, his superior speed overwhelming the man's plan of attack as his head was swiftly assaulted by Shinji's skull as he used the time-honored Yamayagi Mozou (Mountain Goat Mimic) technique of the Ishi no Karada developed in the Iwagakure. Having been well-trained in the style, Shinji suffered no recoil or pain from his assault, but his opponent was not so lucky. Managing to stand for a few seconds, the man staggered backward, his brain bouncing around inside his skull until he finally blacked out and collapsed onto the ground.
Tearing the knife from his side, Shinji took no heed of the gaping wound now spewing forth blood as he turned to the man he had tripped to see him beginning to get up. In no mood to mess around however, Shinji put the man quickly back on his back with a swift kick to the face, rendering him unconscious. With these hooligans contained, Shinji went back to Reiko and the girl to gain more information before continuing on. Turning the corner, he dropped the knife he was stabbed with and rolled his shoulders to loosen up before addressing Reiko... "Tsschht... not my best work, but they won't be getting up anytime soon. How many others are there? and where are they?." Perhaps to Reiko's surprise, Shinji did not pose the question to her, but directly to the young girl cowering behind her and waited for a response.[Chakra Reserves: 51 / ∞] [Stamina : 74/85]

Zeero SarutobiGenin ///Sunagakure ///----- |||Sarutobi's Legacy - Demios ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zēro decided to turn and take an new direction. He heard that there was a bit of disturbance little ways from where he was and decided it wouldn't hurt a little to check it out some; then again, if there was money involved in some manner he will definitely be attracted to it. Taking his perch upon a building that would give him the best view point while keeping him at the very least away from directly being in what ever may be occurring. Everything seemed about normal except from civilians running away from one general area from the market. This brought about some curiosity to Zēro, but he decided to keep his distance until he could better assess what is going on.

Kakinomoto ReikoSpeed Shinobi/Combo User | Sunagakure | Genin Reiko sat in the back of the building with little girl huddling next to her, quietly listening to banter and fighting going on in the room next to them. At first it was quiet, most likely the initial shock of some armed man randomly appearing before them. There was a short scuffle, a few yells of pain, and several thuds which were the unconscious/injures bodies of the ruffians who'd had the misfortune of running into Shinji. It didn't take very long for the commotion to die down as he appeared before the pair again, though seemingly none too pleased.
When he spoke, it was rather obvious that he was talking to the little girl. She wasn't as informed on the whole situation as she was, and was unable to detect chakra. Reiko gave a slight frown and glanced about Shinji for any serious wounds, and there was one. The deep gash was blatant, and he didn't seem to bothered by it since he made no attempt to hide it. Before waiting for anyone else to respond, she got up and hurried over to him, taking a closer look. A few inches away from her, she was noticeably unsettled by the scale of the injury. "Hopefully there aren't that many more of then. I'd rather not have you tromping around with a giant wound like that, accumulating dirt."[Chakra: 25/25] [Stamina: 25/25]

 | Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Chuunin ||| Shinobi Profession: Teaching Master || RPC Profile ||Shinji allowed Reiko to approach him and examine the wound, but was more focused on the little girl who was not responding to him. If she was scared of him before, she was now terrified as his question seemed to freeze her in place as she buried her head in her knees and refused to respond. Thinking of it for a few seconds, it made sense, considering he had walked back into a view and removed a knife from hs side, wielding a bloodied weapon before dropping it. It would be a bit much for such a young girl to handle, especially when she would see his aura as violent entity.
Knowing there was not much more for him to do in the case of the girl, he distanced himself from Reiko and gave her a quick nod towards the little girl. "Take care of her will you? She's not going to talk with me around. You need to calm her down and find out where the rest of this group is." With that, Shinji moved to go back around the corner just in time to meet one of the guards who had come from outside to see. Surprised, the man was taken aback at first, but nervously attack out of instinct, slashing his drawn knife towards Shinji. Far outmatching the man's speed however, Shinji leaned back behind the wall as the man's attacked whiffed the empty space where he had been.
With the man off guard and unbalanced, Shinji capitalized quickly, catching the man's arm as it was still in motion before twisting it to wretch the weapon from his grip. Then, launching his body forward, Shinji brought his elbow strait into the man's jaw, dropping him to the ground instantly. Not far behind, a second guard stood, shaking in fear looking around to see the four unconscious individuals surrounding him. Panicking, the man dropped his weapon and began to run, but Shinji would have none of it.
Weaving a quick series of hand seals, Shinji crouched to the ground and slammed his hands to the earth... "Doton: Kajuu No Doro" The ground in front of him immediately softened into what looked like a puddle of mud which began to bubble up like molten lava. Then, jsut as the bubbles appeared, four large basketball sized spheres of mud shot out of the ground and connected with each limb of the retreating man. Instantly, the mud spheres latched onto his limbs and dragged him to the ground, pinning him there, helpless to move beneath the weight.
With all the available enemies taken care of, Shinji relaxed and looked down at his wound casually. It was still bleeding, but he could barely feel it. Rolling his shoulder, he just stuffed his already bloodied shirt into the wound to try to clot it. Reiko would have to get the rest of what he needed out of the little girl before he could do much else.[Chakra Reserves: 47 / ∞] [Stamina : 73/85]

Zeero SarutobiGenin ///Sunagakure ///----- |||Sarutobi's Legacy - Demios ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zēro continued to watch but from his prespective he couldn't tell if he had an enemy or not. There was a lot of attacking but very little showing of which side should he support, if he should support, and if he should leave. After all, if it wasn't money involved in the outcome of his efforts then there should be little reason for him to join. Moving position slightly, Zēro would get closer just enough for him to get what was going on and who was causing the ruckus within his village; or rathe the area within his village. If it is nothing to truly warrant his attention, then Zēro would move on to further work on constructing the village. But if there is indeed something that warrants his attention, then he will attend to it; hopefully, someone would pay for the corpses of the harsh individuals. Although for now, watching is the best.

Zeero SarutobiGenin ///Sunagakure ///----- |||Sarutobi's Legacy - Demios ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zēro, upon closer evaluation noticed that the area was pretty dull. There was something going on within one of the shop stores but he couldn't tell who was doing it and who was causing the ruckus. True, Zēro could go and investigate but it honestly seemed like he could just move on to helping the village out. After all, he was seeing that the ANBU haven't moved in. If it was really serious, and with the village still pretty much on high alert after the affect, Zēro doubted that the ANBU wouldn't be on this site in moments should it prove to be something that can endanger the villagers. Adjusting his hood to ensure his youthful face was further submerged into the shadows of his hood, Zēro took a drop from his perch to go elsewhere within the village.

I don't mind Enro realizing who David is from his behavior, but he has literally just come from the hospital after a major appearance change, so recognizing him on sight is a bit awkward. Reaching the market quickly, David was highly pleased to note that Enro had followed without complaint or question. He might have been worried that the man would follow anyone who gave him an order, but anyone attempting to give such orders within the village, without proper rank, would quickly have been shut down by ANBU, or even the mission hall operator. Even with his changed appearance, he knew the old hobo had recognized him. After all, he hadn't exactly tried to hide who he was, the visual changes were just a side effect of being rapidly aged several years in the hospital.
Moving past his internal thoughts, David led the two to a busy sector of the market. The Water District. This area held several large underground water tanks, and was where everyone, civilian or ninja in the village came to get their water. Every household and business had a special card they had to present to get their water, which was marked with how much they were allowed to take, and when they took it. But instead of leading them to the wells, David instead approached the stables, where they kept the oxen and wagons. Presenting the slips he had taken from the mission hall to the stableman, he was soon provided with two wagons and a single ox to pull each. The wagons were prepped and ready to go, they just needed drivers. Mounting one of the wagons and taking the reins, David decided to take that moment to finally explain their mission to Enro, assuming he hadn't seen the posting he'd taken the slips from already.
"We are to take these wagons to the oasis, fill the barrels, and return them. Since there's always a risk of bandits outside the village boundaries, it's been a duty long since delegated to the village ninja. While it's only classed as a D rank mission, it's actually a rather important task, unlike most of the rest. So, mount up, and let's get on the road. I'd like to be back before nightfall." he finished his explanation, gesturing to the second wagon's bench. Hopefully Enro was aware of how to even work an ox cart, though, admittedly, he'd never done it himself either. Well, new things and all that. Should be an enjoyable experience if nothing else.

Tenrousei Enro || Genin || Sealing|| Yohei|| (( Roger that, I'll work something out Also sorry about these late and lame replies, I'm posting from my phone))
Enro kept the suspiciously familiar man in his line of sight at all times, not too concerned for his own safety but wondering why he had been asked to accompany the man on the mission. The man seemed capable of handling himself at the very least and the mission he'd taken wasn't an especially difficult one. The dusky man frowned, stretching the scar on his left lip grotesquely as the came onto the stables. Enro glanced longingly at the wells, recalling that he was low on water in his apartment. He made a mental note to pick up some water as soon as possible.
Enro waited as the brown-haired man and approached the stableman, observing their interaction and the delivery of two wagons. Once David mounted a wagon, Enro wordlessly did the same. He was familiar with leading a team, though he preferred horses to oxen. Though hardier, horses were more reliable if it came down to a confrontation, a common occurrence within the Rice Country at one time.
Nodding after the man's explanation, Enro simply waited for him to lead. He had no intentions of showing the man his back but would ride abreast to him whenver the road permitted it.

That's fine. I'm just happy to be able to do something for once. XD Also, just so you know now, I do have more in mind than just the D rank mission. Tis a means to an end. David is a plotter after all, not just some lonely guy. Seeing that Enro was ready, David silently flicked the reins of his cart, unfortunately realizing he didn't actually know anything about driving oxen. Luckily, these oxen were kept and trained for a single task. Taking genin to the oasis and back. It was rare for most genin to know how to properly drive oxen either, so the animals were well trained, and really, if they had the proper limbs, could probably do the entire job on their own.
So it was that the ox responded to David's silent urging, and began to slowly move forward, back out into the market proper. The teen kage slowly began to pick up how the beast responded to his signals, and was quickly able to begin raising the pace, weaving easily through the crowds, though that was made easier by them, naturally, getting out of his way. Throughout the process, David said nothing to Enro, as the man had said nothing to him to garner a response. His own intended chat for the man would wait until they were alone. And considering the mission, he had plenty of time.

 Tenrousei Enro || Genin || Sealing|| Yohei|| ((Still a lonely guy though...))
Enro flicked the reins himself and the oxen began to move at a languid pace. The creature followed after the brown-haired man, snorting at passerby's as it moved. Enro didn't have to do much to control the beast as the crowd naturally parted as his companion moved through the streets. He held the reins loosely and made his large frame comfortable on the wooden seat. Rather than try to make the silence comfortable, Enro allowed it to stretch on without concerning. He took the time to allow his mind to wander - though not too freely, he was still with a strange young man after all.
