Koneko Yokai
So, you wanna know about Koneko Yokai... Okay, here goes. WITH VIDEOS!!! Yay!!
Back in the old Academe Days she was married to Yuji, Still is Technically, guess he needs to change his Relationship status on DemonFacebook to OhShitake... Koneko disappeared from the face of the earth, something Yuji was at least somewhat used too, due to Koneko's line of work, But she usually at least contacted him. This time she didn't, she couldn't, simply because this time, she simply lost her memories and powers and didn't know who she was. Living in the Human world and having an affinity for writing and paper, she became a popular author, but then the ones who'd taken her powers decided she should be dead after all. Three of her old students that she'd taken on after leaving Yokai for missions, found her and saved her in time. Her memory didn't return for another two months and then her powers came back on their own when she remembered how to recall them. For years she lived working with the Agency again, still kicking human and monster but to keep peace between the Human and monster world, still living by her saying that one can be immortalized in paper. She learned a new ability after time, finding a way to merge with it and actually immortalize herself in a way, just so long as someone remembers her and writes her name on a special page of paper... which no one knows where it's at by the way except Anita, her youngest student... Koneko can be revived to her last "Save Point" the last moment she allowed the page to absorb her essence and memories. Paper doesn't last forever though. She kicked her way through an enemy force targeting the Agency she was with, managed to absorb Three major Ink Demons and took their powers, making Ink as easy to manipulate as paper for her, and making her own paper nearly indestructible to fire and water, and refining it even more than it once was. When her powers and memories were taken, the ink drained from her hair leaving it ash blond, almost color-less. Absorbing the Demons meant she no longer needed to store ink in something as pathetic as her hair anymore.... and it helped her eyesight... but sometimes she'll still slide on a pair of glasses if she's too lazy to refine her eye lenses with the clear ink.
She used to be a very kind up-beat kind of woman, loosing her best friend and having to kill her multiple times, loosing her memories and powers, Then loosing the happy blissfully ignorant lifestyle she lived as an ordinary human and finding she'd had no way to connect with her entire family including Yuji, kind of hardened her a little. She's a bit cold towards people, unless you're one of her students, specially the three paperwitches... then she becomes a mom and very annoyingly mushy and lovable towards that person.
As for Lawrence... He'd been by her side the whole time. Minus the years she lived without memories, what else can he do? It's his job, and just happened to get stuck with this crazy woman.
